My advice is read every single thing you sign that they print up. They will easily trick you and are very pushy while your trying to decide if your making the right choice. I had to go in multiple times because they made mistakes, but tried to make it look like I was getting a better deal. Also, the service center is terrible. They never contacted me to get something fixed that needed to be done prior to purchasing the vehicle. But, when it was time for my vehicle to be serviced, they called and e-mailed me multiple times to get me in and make more money. I wouldn't recommend this place, but if you go just be smart and read everything they type up.

I normally hate the process of buying a car but Ron Tonkin dealerships make the experience painless. I started the process on-line and basically went to the dealership to sign papers and pick the car up. They did offer me a bunch of add-on extras (sealants, extra tinted glass etc) but a simple "no thanks" and the topic was dropped. Our salesman, Eric Van Huss, was friendly and helpful. I have purchased 2 cars from Tonkin dealerships (Toyota and Hyundai) and would not hesitate to return.

I can, without hesitation, recommend Tanner Vannett as an honest and hardworking salesman for your next car. With all of the information online about cars and car buying guides, it was easy to approach Tanner online with a fair deal, and he agreed. I explained that if I came to the dealership and the price raised at all, I would walk. So when Mr. Early-another salesman-explained they had tinted the car windows on the car I was interested in, raising the price, I explained I had no interest and would leave. We agreed on a price (tint included), and Tanner was very honest the whole way through. I appreciated his demeanor over Mr. Early's hard-sell approach, but weathered that storm and got a fair deal on my new car. Mr. Frazey, the finance manager, was also quite helpful. He lowered our APR from the amount initially agreed upon; a big help.The only other negative was the fact that it took 3 hours to walk out the door, though we were on the same page at minute 1 pretty much.

Generally I do not like the car buying experience but....I have to say, the sales staff andmanagers were such a pleasure at Ron Tonkin Hyundai that I bought a car one week, went in and bought a brand new Hyundai Genesis one week later. And I will do my next car buying with them also. Loved it there...felt like family.

TANNER VANNET Salesman, and STEVE EARLY Finance. DONT EVER BELIEVE A SINGLE WORD THEY SAY !! TANNER IS NOT YOUR FRIEND!! I walkd out with a beautiful Santa Fe AWD. I signed ALL papers, contract, etc. They told me it was a done deal, there was NEVER ANY mention of any problems NONE WHAT SO EVER. Tanner MY "FRIEND" PROCEEDED TO HELP ME TRANSFER ALL my things from my previous vehicle, TANNER showed me how everything worked, got my cell phone linked up with the vehicle. BOTH TANNER AND STEVE told me it was my vehicle!! My insurance was changed over had the new cards. Steve told me that it was already financed and even told me who the financing was with. THERE WAS NEVER ANY MENTION OR HESITANCY THAT THE DEAL WASNT GOOD & DONE!! I signed everything, I drove away with what I thought was my vehicle!! Drove it for 5 DAYS after that 5 DAYS got a call from Steve who proceeded to tell me that I had to bring it back--they were unable to find financing. HOW CAN THEY DO THAT? Wish I had more room...

I've never dreamed or even thought of buying a car on the internet but when I seen the car and the price, I had to have this one no one could compare. Before going to Ron Tonkin, I visited several other dealers - checked out hybrids (pricey; hard to get the color I wanted at this time; didn't like the ride as much as the rental Accent I was driving). I researched prices and reviews online - decided on the car that I wanted. The first dealer I visited with the Accent I wanted seemed to think I should have brought my husband along. Hmm. At Ron Tonkin, I bought a brand new (2012) Hyundai Accent for less than MSRP in exactly the color and no extra add-ons. I was treated with respect & courtesy throughout. I didn't feel pressured - yes they wanted to sell me the car I wanted and Tanner & Mike did everything they could to make it happen in a positive way. I have to say that the car I bought had 3 miles on it when I test drove it - and I fell in love with it then - and I know you should walk away; sleep on it; wait a little (I didn't). And several days later I still know that I got a great deal - and I LOVE MY CAR! THANKS GUYS!

Some of these reviews make Ron Tonkin Hyundai seem like Disneyland.... Almost like an employee wrote them.... Oh well.... Here's my experience, just the facts - When we began negotiations the price of the car was $41,000+ dollars on your first proposal. Come to find out and see with my own eyes the car was listed on Craigslist at $35,999 (not sure if it's legal to advertise something then try to seel it for more to an unknowning customer) two days later. On the third proposal I said 'yes' after the salesman returned from a visit with the sales manager and he indicated Ron Tonkin would pay for my requested bluetooth. He said, 'Do we have a deal?' I said, 'yes' and we shook hands. Only to find out after I came back from dinner that I was paying the $300, their cost as per our conversation, for the bluetooth. I was willing to look past this as I need a vehicle pronto and it was getting late!!! Then when I went in to sign the papers with financing I noticed the mileage on the vehicle was r

“Experience” – The act of familiarity, the practice of Excellence! In today’s world, the aforementioned is often used to exploit the unsuspecting consumer. Buying a new vehicle is simply one of the worst things on the planet to accomplish. I’ve never received such professional treatment in my life, I’m still in a state of shock! The salesman, sales manager, and finance manager (Bob, Steve and Mike) went out of their way to secure my business. You can learn alot about a dealership by viewing the condition of its service/parts department. Unannounced to the others, I wondered into the service department. To my surprise, the manager and tech greeted me by name, answered general safety and maintenance questions...Wow, now that's unscripted service. This small act of kindness sealed the deal. Its clear, the Mgt Team at Ron Tonkin Hyundai is on the same page as Today's Consumers (Integrity Matters). This is a real post, from a real customer, 2011 Santa Fe Se...Mike B., Blaine, Washington.

We just purchased our third car from Ron Tonkin Hyundai. Every time we go there we know we will be treated respectfully, which is why we return. We got an AMAZING deal on a Santa Fe last week, and couldn't be happier. Another dealer had a car we were interested in, but after spending time at their dealership, we didn't feel like our voices were heard. We are glad we returned to Ron Tonkin, Kevin is always a huge help. Prompt replies to emails and phone calls, and the whole process did not take a ridiculous amount of time. No one likes the process of buying a car and trading in an old vehicle, but at Ron Tonkin, they truly try to make sure that you are completely satisfied with every aspect of your purchase. Whenever someone we know is looking at buying a new or used car, we always tell them to go to Ron Tonkin Hyundai. Hyundais are awesome cars, and Ron Tonkin is the best place to buy one.

It was terrific dealing with Tanner on an internet deal on a new 2012 Hyundai Elantra. He was very knowledgeable, and came through with a great deal when offered a basket of homemade cookies. We drove 140+ miles to pick up the car, and it was ready and waiting for us; I highly recommend both Tanner and the dealership. I would happily be their customer again.

Our SUV Buying experience With or sails person Bob! was excellent . Bob was very help-full and knowledgeable with all the product and the buying experience , it was excellent help, If we were to buy another car it would buy from him, no pressure no bull we love his help, After working in dealers myself on and off for 30 year, in there auto body shop. I no good sails and Auto dealers when i see one. Our Finance person, we believe his is name is Mike was excellent also and very help. Thanks Ron Tonkin for our 2011 Tucson GLS is all we expected and more. We will definitely recommend Ron Tonkin and Bob to all. Thank You Ron. Bob And Debbie Downs.
