I am not sure of your specific situation, but I do know that Dr. Wilson is a very caring vet. Our black lab mix, Beamer, had an obstruction last Labor day weekend and if it wasn't for Dr. Wilson and his staff, we would no longer have Beamer. After a day and a half of trying to hydrate him to pass the obstruction (which turned out to be a dish cloth), he had to have surgery. And yes it was quite expensive. I do know that they offer payment plans. I am sure that it would have been devastating if we would not have been able to afford this surgery for Beamer. However, if this facility provided care without payment for all who couldn't afford it, they would no longer be in business.

I as a veterinary professional find it extremely disheartening that you as an un educated pet owner would call into question the compassion, and ethics of Mountain View Animal emergency. We as veterinary professionals persue veterinary medicine as a career out of love and compassion for animals, not by any means to become rich. This is a hospital which requires alot of the exact expensive diagnostic equipment you would see in your local clinic. hese things cost money. If every DVM gave away there services the clinic doors would not remain open. As the previous reviewer said care credit is available and it was offered to you. Out of compassion and care for your pet they offered to use tehre skills and resources to save this pet and place it in a proper home where she and her puppy will recieve the veterinary care she requires. You should be thankful you didn't have to explain your decision to Euthanize but rather, she was saved by people who truly care. I've know Doc Wilson since 1993 a

In response to the person who said "they took my dog" I just wanted to point out that they offer payment plans through Care Credit which allows an owner no interest financing for 6 months or more and longer term payment plans as well. As a veterinarian I empathize with the stuggle of treating a seriously ill pet, but you can't blame the veterinarian for expecting to be compensated for their knowledge and costs associated with treating your pet. I have know Dr. Wilson for over 20 years and I know he is one of the most compassionate veterinarians out there. You made the decision to get the pet so it is your financial responsibility to take care of your pet and not blame others for you circumstances.

You should of had your dog spayed. Then none of this would of happened.

My dog Princess was having a puppy. And just because I did not have 1.400$ too pay for a C section they were going to let her DIE.So they gave me the option to sign her over to them in order too save her LIFE. I tried to get them to let me make payments. But they said no. Now my kids are so upset What can I do too get my dog back. This is wrong and it is very disheartening for a VET someone who is supposed to care for pets to give such a ultimatum.I want my dog back if they didn't put her down.WHAT CAN WE DO.And please if you have an emergency please DO NOT take your pet to these ANIMALS.
