My family and I had a very relaxed moving, courtesy of Long Distance Van Lines. They treated us well and even helped us carry some things that we were supposed to carry, for free! They are the best movers I have ever collaborated with in the many years I have been in Pennsylvania. I will definitely call them again for my future moves.

My movers showed up on time and were professional and courteous throughout my moving process to the very end. They assisted me with everything including some things that there was no way I could move them myself. The movers gave 100% and worked as a team and charged me reasonably. I will definitely use them again as there’s hardly a company better than Long Distance Van Line in NYC.

I entrusted Long Distance Van Lines for my relocation from Harrisburg to Erie and they did not disappoint. It all started with a friendly quote and the process was smooth throughout. I must say that I was very impressed.

I have used several movers in my life, but none has showed a better understanding of the industry than Long Distance Van Lines. These guys were able to do some tweaking of my things to maneuver in the state successfully and avoid state and federal fines for violations against moving regulations. They understand the law and the industry and will move you smoothly from start to finish.

The industry and knowledge of Long Distance Van Lines are the only things that enabled a safe and timely relocation for my things. It was my first time to move houses, but they ensured that it was a good one. When I need the services of a professional mover in future, I’ll definitely call them.

When you call for the initial moving quote, you will be given an estimate that is significantly less than what they are actual planning on charging you. Long Distance Van Lines charges by cubic feet, which means they can inefficiently pack their truck and demand more fees. The company subcontracts their jobs and does not have their own trucks. We had 6 movers, 3 for loading the truck and 3 for unloading, and none of them could speak English.



These movers were disrespectful and careless with our belongings resulting in unnecessary damage to our property. The truck that arrived for drop off with all of our personal belongings was severely damaged with a large gaping hole in the top left corner of the back of the truck. The back doors were not able to close properly. The movers unloaded our belongings in a careless and disrespectful fashion, rushing to get the job done with total disregard of our property.



We paid a significant amount of money to Long Distance Van Lines and trusted this company to transport all our personal and valuable belongings safely and respectively. We contacted the customer service and claims department immediately after the move, and they offered no care or concern for our loss and damages.



This company is not insured!!! The standard coverage is 0.60 cents per pound for damage - which is nothing! The fine print for the coverage also states it does not cover scratches, dents, chips (which is not given to you until after the move)- and the movers could care less - I wish I had known how horrible this company was prior to using. DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY.

There is everything to like about Long Distance Van Lines. My move with them was so cool and I really liked everybody who made it such a resounding success.
