Provided by YP.comTHIS IS THE WORST BUSINESS I HAVE EVER DONE BUSINESS WITH, NOT JUST CAR DEALERSHIP BUT ANY BUSINESS. SAMI MEJADADA (GENERAL MANAGER), ABBY MUJADADI, AND JAY MUJADADAI ARE LIARS. READ MY REVIEW BEFORE MAKING THE SAME MISTAKE I DID AND PURCHASING A VEHICLE FROM TEAM VOLKSWAGEN OF HAYWARD.
I purchased a 2000 Eurovan from Team VW of Hayward. Eric Warren (salesman) told me at the time of purchase, “every used vehicle has a 1,000 mile/ 1 month warrantY.” Sami told me the same thing while doing the paperwork.
2 weeks later the check engine light goes on and I call them. Abby spends all day Saturday trying to find my file and says call back on Monday. This makes me suspicious and I read internet reviews and they are so bad that I become worried that they are not going to honor the warranty.
I call back on Monday and Jay says, “Bring it in and we will fix it under warranty,” so I drive from Santa Cruz to Hayward and all they do is RESET THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. By the way, Robert (service manager) is quite incompetent as well and says the check engine light might not go back on for a while and this is a maintenance issue and not covered under warranty. They also say I don’t have a warranty, so I check my paperwork, and sure enough there was no sign of a warranty. I was in a hurry when signing my papers and left without something in writing. Lesson learned. I call Eric Warren the next day and he told me again, “every used vehicle we sell has a 1,000 mile/ 1 month warranty.”
Then I called Sami back and he said I was out of luck but he would give me a discount to get it fixed. I told him I already brought it in and all they did was reset the check engine light. I ended up bringing it to my local mechanic and paid $700 to get it fixed.
I contacted 2 lawyers in the meantime and they both said to take them to small claims court. I also was going to subpoena Eric Warren and Jay who said it would be fixed for free under warranty.
So I called Sami and requested that he pay the $700 and he sad, “no.” When I threatened to take him to small claims court and contact ABC 7 On Your Side, his tune quickly changed and he offered to pay half of it. Although I’m sure I would’ve won in court, I accepted his offer so I would no longer have to deal with these lying and greedy so called car salesman and leave this experience in my past.
I also asked to record conversations with Sami, so I would have what he told me on record and each time he refused; thus allowing him to continue to tell me lie after lie.
Hopefully you don’t make the same mistake I did and purchase a vehicle from these people and if you do, take them to court and if you ever need a witness of any sort, please contact me, because these guys need to learn how to run an honest business.

Those who are writing good reviews must have been paid by them. SINCE THIS PLACE ARE ALL LIARS!!! No service
guaranteed, LIE guaranteed. I was so stupid not having read the reviews here first. Now I just wish follow buyers
keep away from this place.
This is my experience.
I went to this dealer to pick up my new car. And they told me the WORST LIE IN THE WORLD.
I went with a well prepared list of what and how to check. I went in at 4pm. There is one man and one lady came up.
I said I want a test drive first since I have not drive the car on highway yet. The man smiled to me and turned
around to the lady:" Take them to the bank and get the check." So the lady sat in the car and constantly persuade
me to go to the bank ASAP. I said let me check the car first. I came here and I already get all the insurance done.
I am gonna to pay. The lady did not listen to me, she just kept on urging all the way and the man called her every
5 mins for six times. I was so annoyed and went to the bank.
But after I got the check she immediately stopped talking. I asked her that the gas tank is not full. Could the
dealer give me a full tank gas? She said since it was a new car, that it came with perfect service, everything will
be full. I asked twice to double check since I need to drive a long way back home. She said do not worry. She would
make sure I got it.
Later I went in to pay after checking all the parts and a mechanic get my car inside for final service. The man led
me into office and ask for the check. He did not check my insurance nor answer any of my questions. He just gave me
the manual, tell me to read and kicked me out after i gave him the check by saying that I had never seen anyone
like you examining a new car like that, you were the first! I said "why not? it is my first car." He laughed out
loud "I have been here for a long time. You are the first to do that. Unbelievable. Hahaha!"
I went out and wait for the car for 15 mins. When it came out I saw the gas tank was still a little bit below 1/4,
the number after my test driving (1/4 is before my test driving). When I was trying to find the lady who promised
me a full tank of gas, it turned out the lady was gone. So I found the man who got my check and asked for the gas.
The man said in an arrogant voice "You can ask around. No dealer does that. I never provide that." I said "I asked
twice and the lady promised me." Then he called the lady and said to her "Hey, the man said you promised him
something?" The lady was on speaker"Yeah, the gas." The man said "Hey! hey! You are on speaker!" The lady
immediately changed her tone "I never promised anything. I just say I need to ask my boss." I said "YOU ARE LING!
HOW CAN YOU TELL SUCH A BAD LIE?! If you need to ask your boss, why are you off work now?! And you said yes before
he remind you are on the speaker!" The man hang it out before I finished and said "I am not ling" with a face
saying "yes, I am. I lied, so what?!"
I said "Ok, this is the WORST LIE I have ever heard in the world. It is just 3/4 tank of gas. Your credit is worth
3/4 tank of gas."
This is the service I got. I am so fortunate that I checked all the parts. I cannot imagine if there is something
wrong how much worse the dealer will be. They are the group of people to LIE shamelessly just in front of you. I
just wish to share my experience and hope everyone who has a car or who is going to buy a car will never have a
chance to be cheated by them.

Provided by YP.comI will like to thank the VW team they have always been very helpful. The costumer service that is provided to the costumers is excellent. I have been a costumer for 4 years and all I can say is, they will run an extra mile for you if is needed.
They do understand and take care of the costumers weather is a cuestion or an issue with the vehicle. They are always there for you.
