at first i was scared as with any surgery but dr. thompson made me feel secure and safe and comfortable, he assured me everything will be ok

He really knows how to treat his patients. Is very helpful answers any questions you may have.

I was admitted to the emergency room at Mercy, where a Dr suddenly told me that I would need surgery, which scared me to the core. But Dr Thompson's patient explanation allayed my fears. I walked into the operating room confident in the outcome. After the surgery the Dr also provided expert care, --follow up phone calls and office visits.

I had a great experience. He has an amazing team everyone is kind and very helpful always available when you need them.

Dr T changed my life. I no longer feel anxious to be seen in public. I can now exercise again and go for long walks, hikes in the mountains and bike rides. My health has dramatically improved no more sleep machine. Thanks DR T, I highly recommend Dr T to anyone who is considering weight loss surgery, he and his staff are outstanding.

I couldn't have been happier to have found this Doctor and crew staying p late watching commercials. Like a God send because I prayed to find the right way to go. Goodness they are so warm, understanding and welcoming! I feel so encouraged, so supported and that was from walking through the door the very first day! Dr. Thompson cares so much he even postponed my surgery due to an underlying illness he felt would be more of a detriment to my longevity. He and the team worked with my PCP to get me healthy before even considering rescheduling. THIS is definitely not all about the money. You are not just a dollar sign, you are truly cared for. So much so I am now bringing my mother to start her process. Having been down this road before I can promise you, this is definitely the best place hands down. Dr. T is literally the most caring and supportive provider ever. He is patient and kind and has the best bed-side manners. He listens to your concerns and helps to find the best options for his patients. He was not my first bariatric surgeon option, but he was definitely the better option!
