Best place in Cambria County to find reasonable old school games. Everyone else goes charging ebay prices and more! They have a little bit of everything from 1980-present. They beat gamestop prices on all the new gen stuff to. Also have very good trade in rates. They have always been fair with their prices and def a good time talking games with everyone. I can't even tell you how much stuff came from here for my game collection! 062

this place is the place to go to. excellent prices. and the two workers there are awesome as soon as you walk in the door they make sure they can help you the best they can. also if you need to know anything about electronic stuff they are the ones to call. Better Sound is great, they have a great selection of NES, SNES, N64, Sega Genesis, PS1,2,3, and Xbox games. Their customer service is great, they take the time to help you with whatever you need. They also have a great collection of DvDs and VHS's. One great thing is there's always new games in the store. I was in there yesterday, and there was 20 new NES games. 057

I started going to Better Sound a few years ago. They have a great selection of nes super nes playstaition 1,2,and3 xbox,xbox 360 sega and many more .they also have a great selection of DVDs .they treat everyone great and it's my favorite place to shop for games so stop in you never know what you might find at Better Sound. 045

What I like about Better Sound is everything they have has been cleaned and tested. They are also very friendly and if you have any questions they will take the time to answer them,and they even plug in their electronics to show you how it looks and sounds,plus they also resurface video games. I've started collecting video games a couple of years ago. I found Better sound has the best selection and prices of retro games as well as current gaming around. They have everything from atari to xbox one games. They also have a nice selection of movies( DVDs, blu-rays and even 3d blu-rays). If your looking for games.movies.electronics or music instruments. Every time I go to Better Sound, I know I am usually going to spend a lot of money. A few of those reasons are because: 1. I know they are very thorough in going over their trades. 2. They don't purchase or sell sub-standard quality materials. 3. I've never had an issue with anything they have sold me. I usually try to shop at Better Sound at least once a month. #019.

The place for all used electronics and media!!! I've been collecting retro video games since May of last year and I haven't found anyone else in town that compares to Better Sound. All of their merchandise is clean and in good working order; all at a fair price. They're staff has been kind, courteous, and knowledgeable about all of their products. Better sound is THE place to go whether you want to buy some new games or gadgets, sell old ones or even trade up. They stand behind what they sell and help you with whatever problems you have whether its with something you got from them or not. I've been purchasing my video games at Better Sound for years. I started with my PS2 and Wii and eventually upgraded to my PS3 and xbox360. I've purchased controllers and cables as well. I've never had a single problem with any item I've purchased here which has been well over 50 items. I highly recommend them! 035

I have been shopping with Better Sound for over 10 years. Always very helpful with any questions you may have. Even if you didnt buy something directly from them, they will still help you out the best they can or direct you in the right direction to find the information. They give you the best deals on anything from Blu Ray/DVD movies, Video game consoles, Video Games/accessories, TV's, Stereos, car & home. You name it they probably have it, or will try their best to find it for you. Not to mention the wide selection of musical instruments coming and going. As a musician, ask for Derek. he can find you exactly what youre looking for. His experience on working with instruments is incredible. He can restore the old and keep it all original. I cant speaker higher of the work he does. This isnt a "pawn shop". This is a local business that cares about its customers and ALWAYS trys to help you out. If youre looking to trade something in, they give you the best deal and research it, to make sure you are receiving that best deal. They also take the right precautions to make sure nothing is stolen. Even the local police know this business is legit and knows that you are never buying stolen merchandise or anything that may seem a little off. Honestly I cannot speak highly enough about this place. They even still carry VHS tapes. Some people might not care, but some grandparents who dont know or care about DVD and Blu Ray still love this.. They can find classic movies they thought they would never find again for under a dollar. And for some of us older "kids", The ataris, nintendos, games that we thought were long gone can easily be found in one quick stop there. Even if you cant remember the name of a game or movie, Marc or Derek will do their absolute best to make sure they try and find out for you. This isnt a store that sells used junk. This is a store that sells quality merchandise to customers that want to come back. They arent looking to make a quick buck. They are looking to make sure you have and understand what it is you are looking for, know how to operate it, hook it up, instal it, etc. I could go on and on. But truth is, just stop in and experience it yourself. That same Blu Ray or game you may want for 60 dollars. Better Sound has it for 10. Again, all I can say is stop in and talk to them. we buy all of our ps3 and xbox 360 games and gaming accessories from Better Sound. Their game and accessory prices are cheap compared to most places. Even with my Amazon Prime membership their prices can not be beat. Their selection is great. Most of the newly released games they have within a month of being released. I visit this store frequently. They have the best selection of Retro game consoles and games of anyone around the Johnstown area. They don't over charge, and are great with trade-in's and store credit honoring. Awesome prices for DVD and Blu-ray movies, even low prices for CD's.
