Melina has amazing talent. Her cakes are always so delicious and she always falls through with what exactly you want for the design. She did my son's birthday cake last year and it was amazing, and of course I went to her again for my son's second birthday as well. Keep up the great work Melina.

I trully recommend Melina's cakes not only beacause they are delicious and perfectly finished, but because she really understands what your imagination may come up with and makes it a reality!!!

I was desperate looking for someone who would make me a delicious Dominican cake and would include style into it at the same time. I only have 2 months in Orlando and I wasn't familiar with anyone. I came across Melina's page on Facebook , I went to her house to sample her cake, and on the day of my daughters 1st b-day the design of her cake was exactly the way I wanted it and the cake was just extremely fluffy on the inside and full of flavor! I give melina 5 stars. If you want that perfect dominican cake for any occasion she is the ONE to go to. The cake is worth way beyond the price. :)

My daughter was delighted with the master piece you created for her Masquarade Sweet Sixteen. I still want more cake! I will recommend Melina's cakes to anyone. Everything is made from scratch and it tastes absolutely fresh and yummy! I'm delighted to inform all of you that she makes all sizes of cakes so you don't have to buy a big cake if you're in the mood for a taste of her delicious domican cakes! :-)

I am a fan of Dominican style cakes since I met my beloved Dominican husband almost 18 years ago.



My daughter's birthday was around the corner and the lady that I usually order cakes from was sick. I decided to look up in the net where I can find a Dominican bakery and Melinda’s Sweet delight was shown at the top of my search list. I called her on a Saturday night (8pm) and she answered right away! Since it was my first time ordering from her she was kind and asked me to stop by her house to pick up a sample for me to taste!



Melinda creates her cakes from scratch in her home's kitchen. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed! She had the cake ready to be picked up 2 hours before the previously discussed time. The cake was superb. I had no left overs! It is the best Dominican cake I've had since my wedding – 16 years ago.

I highly recommend Melina's Sweet Delight. So far, it has been the best Dominican cake that I have tasted! She is the BEST :-)
