Best Hair Salon in LARGO. The stylists at Elkae Salon are as professional with there craft as you can get. I've trusted their professional hair stylists with my beauty and they always exceed all of my expectations. The stylists always make me feel special. The clientele always makes me feel welcomed. Leah IS THE BEST!! So, I had to compliment a coworker earlier this week because I noticed she had this KILLER NEW haircut and color. I told her I was considering changing my look up and she insisted that I go see her chic... “she's amazing” she said. Well let me tell you that is an understatement. Her name is Leah. I always get nervous before a haircut because I've never really had a good one. From the moment I sat down in her chair I felt instantly at ease. She started asking me all sorts of questions like what I do for a living, and do I work out a lot, and how much time would I would be willing to spend styling my hair…. All sorts of things. She combed through my hair a bit more, looked me in the eye, took a very deep almost meditative breath, and then said “ok, let's rock and roll!” This chic went into the zone. I've never seen a hairdresser so focused in my life. This is a woman who really cares about what she does. It's inspiring. Leah nailed it! She knocked it out of the park! I've quite honestly never been so happy with a haircut in my life. Leah is an artist, a technician, a serious perfectionist, and an absolute pleasure to be around. She exudes positive energy and created a look for me that I never dreamed possible! Look, I'm writing this crazy long review. I've never reviewed anything ever. I feel like I owe it to her. She earned this review. I look so friggin' cool right now it's actually hard to believe. She even took the time to teach me how to style it on my own because as she said, it doesn't do her any good if i can't make it look just as awesome by myself. Makes perfect sense when you think about it. AMAZING!!! My hair – pretty much the coolest cut i've ever seen, and the woman she was finishing up when I got there – SUPERB - she was absolutely THRILLED with it. In closing, Leah has truly found niche calling. Don't just take my word for it, go to her and witness the magic for yourself.

Over the weekend I stopped in at Elkae Salon. The salon was very busy. Everyone was laughing and having a great time. I was a walk-in and was helped by Leah right away. The price was VERY good. A well presented salon with a polite and attentative staff. I really loved my haircut and enjoyed my visit. I know where I will be getting my hair done from now on; and whom will be cutting my hair, too!!! Will be getting all of my hair needs met at Elkae Salon from now on! Thank you!

I have been in search of the PERFECT place to get my haircut because I am excessively particular about my hair.. I finally settled on ELKAE SALON and was absolutely blown away. I worked with Leah, she is "Certified Master Stylist", and her talent level far exceeds her distinguished title. She did exactly what was asked and listened to everything I said and offered suggestions to fit my face, personality, and style. I couldn't be happier. She truly gave me the haircut of my dreams and I feel sexier, confident, and I am definitely THRILLED with my new look.

The hair work is good but staff cannot answer phone or conduct themselves in professional manner. There are other good salons in the area with staff that isn't rude, go to one of those!!

I have been a loyal customer of Elkae Salon for the past several years. I always have a great time laughing, joking, and relaxing when I am there. It is a GREAT way to end a stressful day or week.I always seem to forget that I am their getting MY hair done----and then it's over!!!!! Leah ALWAYS exceeds my EXPECTATIONS everytime!!! I had been shopping around for a new hairdresser for quite sometime. I was referred to Leah while out shopping at one of the local hair care stores. I was shopping for color & hair extensions. When I scheduled with Leah, we had a very nice afternoon which included alot of laughs with everyone in the salon. My hair color and my extensions are beautiful. Leah was the PERFECT choice for all my hair needs. I will DEFINITELY be seeing Leah on a consistent basis from now on.

I usually would not waste my time posting a review....My wife would go to different hair salons in search of the right stylist and each time she would return home she(...each time more of her hair would be gone!)she would be more depressed. After 3 years, she had very, very short hair.

She started researching hair extensions after being out with her girlfriends one evening. We started searching the Tampa, St. Petersburg, & Clearwater areas for just the right salon(and STYLIST!!!!). We had formulated a list of the different salons and the cost of the extension service....$500-$1500. WOW!!!!! That's alot of money.....and was told that was CONSIDERED inexpensive compared to a couple of years ago.

We called/viewed salon websites online. Elkae Salon STOOD OUT to both of us. She scheduled her COMPLIMENTRY CONSULTATION and met with LEAH, her new STYLIST. She scheduled her extension appointment and purchased her hair.

It has been 3 weeks now since my wife's extension service. My wife is NO longer depressed but EXUDES a certain CONFIDENCE. She even receives COMPLIMENTS from complete strangers. Leah stayed late that evening; well after her closing time. Leah's price, and her salon's GUARANTEE, were well below any of the prices we were quoted. My wife's extensions and her new COLOR are PERFECT. Come to find out, Leah, is a CERTIFIED MASTER COLORIST, too. We will be telling ALL of OUR friends about ELKAE SALON.

My hair loves Leah at Elkae Salon. I love my hair. Leah stayed late for me one night last week because it was the only time in my schedule available to me. She stayed late that night for me. It was around 10:30PM; 2.5 hrs. over her closing time. My color was freshened up and my new highlights look amazing. I scheduled my next appointment immediately!!! I had fun being able to relax !!!!! I have super frizzy/curly hair. My hair goes crazy in every kind of weather. It has given me problems ever since I was very little. I went to Elkae Salon to get a CHI chemical straightening after long deliberations and after consulting with many people, some of who mentioned keratin treatments. After consulting with Leah, at Elkae Salon, we decided it best to try a CHI straightening for the best results for my request. I will tell you that the porosity of my hair is even and silkier than it has ever been and my curly/frizzy hair issues have been resolved for the first time in my life. This is life altering, in that I feel more beautiful than ever. Thank you so much for restoring my confidence in my appearance and for taking so much time and perfection on my hair!!!!!! (at an obviously understated price......which was quoted 600 and above at two area salons) I did not pay anywhere near that amount for beautiful hair.

I have been going to Elkae Salon for 4 years now. Leah has been coloring my hair C-Thru white and giving me the best haircut ever. She is very knowledgable. She squeezed me in at the last minute, too. Very upscale but laid back atmosphere...I come to relax and enjoy my experience every month. -stud21fl

i had a bad expirence here i went in with no style asked her to fix and make me pretty which you can do with short hair it took the stylist 2 hours to cut off the rest of my hair left with it standing up from the top of my head asked for a refund she refused and hung up on me twice i left criing and she didnt offer any help with fixing it not like there was any hair left to fix very bad expirence would not recommend to my worst enemy

I loved how my hair turned out..It looked great.. The best that anyone has ever done to my hair.. My NEW SALON!!!!
