Provided by YP.comDESERT SPRINGS POOLS!
Do not use this pool company for ANYTHING. They are dishonest crooks. I have a Cracking/ leaking pool and spa with a written LIFETIME WARRANTY, covering the structure of the pool and they will not honor the warranty unless I spend the additional money to SUE THEM. I hired a Structural Engineer, another Pool company, and a Botness to prove my claim, and they still denied me. I even dug a trench around my pool to prove to them that there were NO ROOTS present, that could cause the failing structure. By the time I've cost them a dozen or more customers, they'd have been better off if they'd just done the right thing, and took care of me the way they should have. I won't be using them for the pool in my new house.
Feel free to message me for Photos, Copy of warranty etc...

We had desert spring add a spa at the M casino, everything turned out perfect. Rob scheduled everything to a t and the job turned out perfect. If he can do a commercial pool this well, residential pools will be a piece of cake. Best in town.

Provided by YP.comThis company is a joke! I have been so patient with them. If you didn't sign a contract with them run to a different place. They will start and not finish the project. Every week they say you are on the scedual and then no phone call nothing! You have to keep calling them to get a response. A total lack of management the hand doesn't know what the foot is doing. I have tried everything to get them to take action and all I get it next week we will be there. Landscape isn't done spa is still in limbo. Just save yourself the time and headache and read reviews find someone else to do the job. They are nice people just not worth working with on a spa pool or landscape job.

Provided by YP.comGreat pool good price.
3-16-13 Called Desert Springs Pools for quote on
3-28-13The first available day to come to our house for a preliminary quote was not until March 28.
3-28-13 The pool designer was about an hour late but called to explain at the time the appointment was scheduled.
4-2-13 Met at their design center to see virtual designs . We were given a quote comparable to blue haven pools and vintage pools but they were giving us MORE. (We had also called out prestige pools but the owner took two weeks to get back to us and we had gotten 3 quotes and already signed with Desert Springs.) We liked Desert Springs design the best and were getting more decking and a 83 perimeter pool that was 476 sq ft total. It was larger pool than the other quotes. Desert Springs started with a 40k price and dropped it down to 33k with their incentives. We did a similar pool with them in 2009 for 25k and was able to get a deeper discount on this pool which brought that$33k price to $28k. I asked the pool designer to send me digital copies of various screen shots of the pool plan. I did not get these shots any time soon and had to ask multiple times. The contract had an estimated START date of 4-22-13 and COMPLETION date of 5-30-13.
And so it begins:
4-18-13 Sprayed out pool.
4-26-13 Bulldozer was delivered Friday.
4/29 & 4/30 Dug pool Monday/Tuesday (Moving along rather quickly :)
5/1 to 5/3/13 Equipment, steel, electrical (Moving along rather quickly :)
5-16-13 Gunite (Moving along rather quickly :). I noticed two umbrella sleeves and an irrigation sleeve were missing. I reminded the company and even sprayed a reminder on the ground to make sure they were included and to prevent a mistake. I was not at home during most of the pool construction.
5-18-13 Tile (Felt like a long delay time for next step)
5-31-13 Concrete decking
6-10-13 cool deck
6-12-13 block wall. (Block wall guys noticed a mistake, the company was going to install my old gate instead of the rv gates in the contract, this was corrected before mistake was made, almost immediately.
6-13-13 gate part 1
6-14-13 gate part 2
6-18-13inspection
6-19-13 pool clean out
6-20-13 plaster
6-22-13 start up
Completion date was 3 weeks longer than expected but pretty close,
Bummer, that the designer was flakey this time around. Here is the situation with him.
Sent text to designer on 4-22-13 for pics of pool. No response.
Left a voicemail asking a few days later. On 5-21-13 I asked again and was a little snippy and finally got the pics that I originally asked for on 4-2-13 on 5-22-13. I could not really get help from the designer once pool docs were signed. Some other people assisted me in the show room with tile and decking. Some were helpful others not so helpful. If you are inexperienced with design and pools I HIGHLY suggest making the designer help you pick out you tile, decking, plaster/pebbletek, and cool decking before you even talk prices. Then talk price and sign docs. There is no reason to make multiple trips down to pick out all that out later and they are so busy its hard to get real design help later down the road. Terri, who does scheduling is quite helpful and will even text back and forth.

Provided by YP.comWe used Desert Springs Pools and love our final product. There were a few hiccups, like communication between the salesman Al and the construction department. Thankfully I work from home and was able to catch the problems. It also took a little longer than we thought. They do have many divisions, we also used them for landscape, and would not use them again. I was a little irritated that Al did not want to sign the contract for the built in BBQ, that did not make sense, however there loss, we went with someone else. I would definitely use them again for a pool. Terry in the construction office was great to work with and the quality & design are great!

We were looking for a smaller spa with 2 seats and 1 lounger at an affordable price. We found exactly what we wanted and were pleased with the sale and the delivery when we needed it.

We recently purchased a Marquis spa from Desert Springs Renovations in Las Vegas. Havingpreviously owed a Marquis spa we knew this was the brand we desired. Donna from DSRwent over all the options available and we placed an order. The lead time estimate to build ournew spa and deliver to DSR was 4 weeks. The spa arrived at DSR from the Oregon manufacturerexactly 4 weeks and 1 day after we placed the order, just as promised. Not only was it on time, but Donna arranged to have it delivered the same day it arrived. Four very polite and courteous gentlemen arrived at my home in the afternoon and carefullymaneuvered the spa to our backyard patio. Loving our new spa, thanks Desert Springs Renovations!

Provided by YP.comBuyer beware! We paid approximately $65,000 for a Desert Springs pool, not to mention we also spent $18,000 for landscaping with them. The $65,000 was for a 16 ft x 38 ft pool with a depth of 6 feet. Unfortunately, that is not what we got and they have yet to remedy this situation for us.
The pool is 16 ft x 37’8” and the deepest point of the pool is only 5 feet deep. We had an in-depth, face-to-face discussion with the salesman, Al McIntosh, about why we wanted a 6-foot deep pool. The reason why this was so important to us is because my husband is 6’2” and he did not want to only be only chest deep in our pool in the deep end.
When we went over the contract with the salesman (he was on one side of the desk and we were on the other), he pointed to all the numbers on the contract and verbally said everything that we had wanted and discussed, including a depth of 6 feet. He wrote a number for depth that they now are insisting is a 5, but does not look like a 5 and does not look like a 6 either (it could be either a 5 or 6). I didn’t realize that I needed to put on my reading glasses and question the number that he wrote down when he was verbally stating exactly what we discussed and what we wanted for our pool.
When I called Al McIntosh on the phone, I said to him that I sincerely hope that he was not going to lie and say that we did not spend a considerable amount of time on the importance of the 6-foot depth. Of course, he did lie and just kept repeating to me that he “could not recall”.
We were also just told to read the back of our contract and that 3-5” is an acceptable margin of error for the length or width of the pool. Naturally, of course, it is not 4 inches over, but it is 4 inches short!
Additionally, they are now trying to extort an additional $3,000 from us even though we are paid in full and have all of our documentation that we are paid in full! I have asked for a specific list of everything that we paid for and they have REFUSED to send it to me. They just keep sending a 4-line spreadsheet and say we have any outstanding balance due to their accounting error, but it is not their policy to send a detailed statement of each cost.
Also, the first time we sat down with the salesman, we made it clear that we only had an 8-foot wide gate to the back yard and that we had 2 air-conditioning units on that side of the house. He wrote up the contract based on this and then a week (or so) later, he said “oops, we need to charge you an additional $1500 for your dig because our big equipment won’t fit.” We were very, very unhappy about this to say the least and they said that they would give us a bargain and only charge us an additional $500.00.
We also talked to 2 other homeowners in our neighborhood that used Desert Springs (unfortunately, not before we contracted with Desert Springs) and they would also never recommend Desert Springs to anyone.
And finally, they were unable to get our $600 pool remote and pool heater to work and it was over a month and several visits to our home by several different people before things would work. They also screwed up the installation of our salt system and it leaked like a sieve! Again, it was quite a while before they managed to get it fixed. Naturally, nothing worked when we had family come all the way from Ohio (and California) because it took them so long to fix their screw-ups.
There are other reputable pool builders in town and we really regret that we did not choose a different builder!

Provided by YPmobileMy husband & I went to their "showroom" and Ron (sales/design mgr) discouraged our ideas, then made us feel like the cash we wanted to use was "eh". We're 33 & 35 and have $30-40k cash set aside (not to shabby but to his standards, not enough). My husband explained once back from his deployment he'd like to get the pool in but wanted to get the ball rolling now with a design, get a plan drawn etc). Ron agreed, we set up for him to come to our home on 7/20... and Ron never called or came over. Which turned out to be a blessing in disguise. If you can't follow through for a simple appointment, imagine what a nightmare process it would be overall. As pathetic as your lack of follow up is, thank you for not wasting anymore of our time.

Provided by YP.comGRUDE! VERY RUDE! Lack of customer service skills & never return phone calls. NEVER!!
My husband and I have also had a horrible experience with Desert Springs Pools. We have had to explain the plans to every construction crew that has come to our house because the foreman in charge has given them all the wrong plans. We seriously have to go out there every time we see workers and explain everything they planned on doing is not accurate, then draw it out for them to make sure they know what the new plans were supposed to look like. Imagine the frustration of doing that for every crew after you just gave this company $40,000. What's the point of sitting down for an hour with the designer to revise the plans when they are going to just throw them away??
Not to mention we had to call the company two-three times a day every day for two weeks to get the deposit of $2,000 they promised us for our HOA and GO FIGURE we ended up just paying it with our own money because they gave us the run around and I was SICK OF IT!!
I do not and will not recommend this company to anyone. The actual guys who come out and do the work are very nice, very helpful, and do a great job. But the people in charge at the main office are RUDE, extremely RUDE (especially the lady at the front desk) and my husband and I have hated working with them.

Rob and his guys did an absolutely perfect job on our backyard. Once the pool was complete, landscapers did there thing and it turned out nice!

Last week Desert Springs Landscaping came in and removed my entire backyard in two days, those guys work hard. Once we had everything ripped out it was time to install the new Desert yard put in. Now I have a beautiful Desert Landscape with a new Jacuzzi hot tub. Thanks for everything.0Heart

Had Desert Springs come out and redo my tile and plaster on the pool. From start to finish was two weks and everything looks awesome. Thanks for the good job.

In early March we started shopping for a pool. We had Anthony Sylvan, Poolscapes and Desert Springs all come out and bid on our backyard. After the initial drawings we rules out Anthony. Both Desert Springs and Poolscapes came back with wonderful drawings. After multiple revisions we ended up going with Desert. Not that Poolscapes was bad, we just liked that Desert has been in buiseness over 15 years. We just finished the project and everything turned out perfect. We also had our landscasping done by Jason Jolfs from Desert Springs Landscaping and his ideas turned out better than I expected. Thanks to all of Desert Springs.

I recently has my landscaping done by Desert Springs Landscaping. Great job! As i was in the showroom paying my bill, I started looking around and found a Jacuzzi that I had to have. Bought it and they delivered the next week. Thanks

very professional and treated me with respect even though my knowledge of landscaping is probably frustrating to people within the industry. the maticulous attention to detail was obvious throughout construction and is even more evident now that its almost a yr old. Mario and Joe did fantastic work to keep their crew on the pace necessarry to meet the completion date along with making sure they cleaned up after each day. I highly recommend them to anyone considering a landscape project

I went shopping for a swimming pool last month, stopped by Desert Sprigs pools and wow. I completely changed my mind with all the options that I was given. I ended up buying a gorgeous marquis spas and had my landscaping revamped to make room for my hot tub. The guys did a wonderful job.

I don't usually write reviews but I thought this would be a good time to write about Mark and Desert Springs Renovations. I had Mark bid the recoating of my pool and the tile replaced. From when I signed the contract to completion was around two weeks. Mark was knowledgable and always responded to my phone calls. I would refer Mark and Desert Springs Renovations to any of my friends.
