Provided by YP.comI had been going through a horrible time trying to find a good attorney that would work with my situation, I had been to Hannraty and others and they weren't really willing to work with me. So I stumbled upon Mr. Roy's phone number and gave him a call. He handled my case with the greatest of ease and I couldn't of been more impressed with his team and services, his secretary Arianne also was a joy to work with and kept me updated on my motions and cases and I got everything I wanted.

Provided by YP.comSolid group of lawyers but their specialty is definitely family law and divorce, would definitely recommend to others.

Provided by YP.comI approached Mr Roy to have my child support payments lowered after I had a change of employment which if they had gone unmodified would of put me in a bad spot, financially. He was very easy to work with and definitely friendly, I would recommend this attorney to other people.

Provided by YP.comThe original consultation was free, unlike the other divorce lawyers I used. I was allowed to make a down payment with payment plans following. So far everything has been working out really well, will keep you updated on the end result but so far Eric seems to be a very aggressive lawyer and his partner Alex was very accommodating when I was unsure about certain things.

Provided by YP.comIs there such a thing as an amicable divorce? I guess it’s all relative. I have been through two of them myself, one more amicable than the other. Neither one involved kids, so that was a plus. The first one however was miserable, largely because my ex-wife wanted to stress me out as much as possible before exiting my life. This in turn cost me a lot of money, not to mention countless headaches. My second divorce went smoother and my attorney, Eric Roy of Las Vegas, represented me well. I came across his office coincidentally while in the downtown area. There are many lawyers there, and I had actually talked to a few before stumbling into his office. He is located at 516 S. 8th St. to be exact. He happened to be in his office on that particular day, and since he offers free consultations we started talking immediately. On one hand he was comforting, in addition to the fact that I can tell he knew his stuff well. He has handled a lot of cases over the years, and he has practically seen every situation imaginable.
As I mentioned before, unlike many others I did not have any issues involving kids. Alimony was not a problem either, but the house was. The house was in both of our names, even though I was the one who bought it initially. Even so, this caused some issues. To make a long story short (and it is a very long story) we settled out of court. I paid her a good sum of money and now I still own the home. It is in my name only (and it will always be till the day I die). Even though the whole process cost me, Mr. Roy was very good at arguing with the other side to minimize the amount of money I have to pay in the settlement. This is the one reason why he proved to be so valuable. Of course he did other things too through the entire process (not to mention endless paperwork), but the house issue was bigger than everything else put together.
At this stage in my life I can honestly say I dealt with a few lawyers over the years. Ideally, the lawyer you hire has legal knowledge, but just as much it is important to have a good connection with him or her. Whether it’s divorce (which can bring endless issues such as custody, alimony, dividing assets (and liabilities, child support, etc.) or any other legal matter, having a personal connection with your lawyer is vital. Eric Roy’s personality fits the profession he is in because on one hand he is very knowledgeable and aggressive, but on the other hand he is easy to talk to and approachable by his clients. Whenever he was in his office, I could just walk in and talk to him about the issues of that day pertaining to my case.
I am glad I bumped into him when I did. . Ironically, I really hope I never have to use Mr. Roy’s services ever again (if you know what I mean).

Provided by YP.comI have been using Eric since July and here's what I can say. First and foremost he is intensely aggressive, I needed a 'Motion To Set Aside' a custodial order and a permission to relocate order. From my understanding Motion To Set Asides RARELY get approved so I wasn't too optimistic about the outcome and I was preparing for the Motion To Modify.
However when me and Eric went to court he impressed me with how relentless he argued my motion, after thirty minutes of litigation between him, the judge and my wife's lawyer my motion was approved. At that moment I knew my money had been well spent.
Now me and Eric are preparing for my motion for primary custody and the typical responses in cases like these and I am very optimistic about the outcome now. I will keep you updated on how things go.
On a side note I have noticed a lot of 'one time' reviews by users with no photos or any information other than some miscellaneous user name and a negative comment about Eric. I can tell you that I disagree with all of these negative reviews and I personally think that these 'reviews' are spam. Just a thought.
