I found this company in a local newspaper's classified section. I called Steve right in the middle of our last heavy snow storm and here's what he did: 1) He answered his phone. 2) He came and meticulously plowed our drive, and walkway, showing up when he said he would. 3) He charged a fair/reasonable price, especially considering I was not a regular client. Great work ethic. Fair pricing. I would not hesitate to use Steve again.

Recently, Year-Round Maintenance did some work on my lawn. Overall, I would give them 5 stars. Here's why....1. the pricing was reasonable and competitive with two other firms I contacted for the same work.2. they were on-time, and completed the work exactly as they promised. 3. The quality of the work was very high.

I had an awful experience with this company. Unfortunately, I can't go into details, but I urge you to look elsewhere.

They did a terrific job, and ahead of schedule. I would definately use them again.

The owner, Steve Messinger, is the worst business man I've ever met in my life. Not only is he rude to customers, crass, and unprofessional, he does not return phone calls. He came to our house to give us an estimate on a job and he made a comment that "teachers don't know what real work is." He said this without even knowing that my husband and I are teachers!!! Who talks like that? Oh, and he showed up to our house to give us an estimate WITHOUT HIS SHIRT ON! Again, who does that? Yes, he came in with the lowest bid, but sometimes the cheap can be expensive. His quality of work isn't what it should be either. After 5 phone calls asking him when he was planning on coming out to begin our job (after we had given him a $100 deposit and never heard from him), he finally called me back insulting me and yelling at me for calling him so many times. I wouldn't have had to do that if he would've just called me back! He also wouldn't return my deposit after I told him that we no longer wanted him to do the job. He told me that he wanted me to have to pay a fine to stop payment on the check. He also told me I needed therapy. Me?!?!? He is, hands down, the biggest jerk I've ever met in my life. He's also insulting to women and a biggot. I have no idea how he is still in business because I know the police have been called on him many times due to the way he treats his customers. Anyone who is thinking about using him for a project, should just keep looking because he is absolutely the most evil person I've ever encountered in my life.
