Dr. Brett proved to be a tremendous help and dug deep into my thoughts and words in order to find out what was behind this gambling addiction. He changed my life. It was an experience that showed me how much I missed in my life, and how badly I want to get back all that I lost. I find Dr. Brett to be extraordinary. Every time I went to see him I felt this strong connection and strange confidence which made me feel safe because I knew the advice I was about to get was going to bring me one step closer to the person I wanted to be.

My life started falling apart after both my parents died in car crash. The news of their death devastated me. I stopped going to work and used to spend all my time in the house, looking at pictures and watching old tapes with me and my parents. As time passed, people started to forget but, I felt the same pain I experienced when I first heard the terrible news. My wife arranged for me to see a psychologist and I was extremely lucky that she found Dr. Brett. He is an incredible person, with a positive attitude and great sense of optimism. His pieces of advice helped me understand that I am still alive and I need to go on with my life and maybe someday my children will be as proud of me as I was of my parents. So thank you Dr. Brett for your patience and understanding.

Working in the emergency room for over 20 years is not easy. Seeing only suffering and pain day after day gave me horrible nightmares, and I slowly became an insomniac. The lack of sleep and the constant bad mood chased everyone away. Fortunately, I decided to get some help and I met an incredible psychologist, Dr. Brett, who gave me peace and serenity again. His kind words, understanding nature, and brilliant ideas helped me go to sleep without fear. We worked together on making nightmares and dark thoughts go away and that turned out great. Dr. Brett is really gifted and not at all judgmental. I will be forever grateful for the unbelievable help and support he showed for me.

Admitting I had a problem was the toughest part of my therapy process. And I discovered that the harder it got, the more I tried to hide it. Fortunately, Dr. Brett knew exactly how to handle things with me. From the first moment I felt connected to him and this made honest communication much easier. He is a remarkable person, and made me feel comfortable in his presence. The time I spend in therapy was extremely useful. Dr. Brett was very understanding and available whenever I was on the point of giving up in front of my anxieties. Knowing that he was always there for me if I needed him was a very important step in this life changing experience.
