Provided by YP.comNo one likes to call in a plumber because it means $$$, but Mike D was great. Professional, thorough, observant and respectful. He resolved the issue quickly. I felt the rate was fair. He was on time, which is very important to those that work and have to come home to meet repairmen.
We're glad to hear Mike did such a great job for you. Thanks for sharing!

Provided by YP.comFirst time using Tom Drexler Plumbing and would definitely recommend to others. Called first thing in the morning and had an appointment within the hour. Roman was an excellent technician and diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. I appreciated the email confirming that the technician was on his way along with a photo so I knew who to expect. Thank you!
It was our pleasure, Karla. Thank you for taking the time to share with us! It's always great to hear encouraging feedback about our awesome technicians.

Provided by YP.comWe are extremely happy with the service provided. The plumber, Mike H. was courteous and respectful the entire time. He made sure not to track the floor during his visit. He wrote out free estimates for the best and worst case scenarios to fix the septic pump problem and let me choose which best fits my budget. He thoroughly cleaned up his area when leaving and explained everything to me so that I understood. He was funny, easy to talk to, and very professional. We highly recommend Tom Drexler Plumbing and Mike!!
Thanks for the review, Carol! Glad Mike could take care of that septic pump problem for you. Don't hesitate to call if you need anything else!

Provided by YP.comVery satisfied customer
Your plumber, Jim Williams, showed up exactly when promised. He was very careful not to track anything into the house on a miserable weather day. Service was beyond good. His dedication and professionalism to repair rather than replace not only saved me hundreds of dollars, but repaired all the problem areas in record breaking time. Excellent employee, the company should be proud knowing someone like this represents and works for them.
Jay, thank you for sharing and for choosing Tom Drexler Plumbing, Air & Electric! We sincerely appreciate your business.

Provided by YP.comStay away from Drexler Plumbing. I think it's a second-rate company. I waited all day for an estimate to replace a leaking waterline in front of my house. We had been without water all day. The person that provided the estimate said a crew of 2 or 3 would "knock out the job the next day". The next day the heat index was over 100 and the company sent 1 guy with a shovel to dig a trench that was in some places 4' deep. The guy worked extremely hard alone under terrible conditions. I called the company to complain about the inhumane treatment - they said they had a trencher but it was busy on another job. A company that claims to have 25 trucks and advertizements everywhere you look, but, not enough equipment or workers to do a decent job is second-rate in my opinion. They endanger their employees for the sake of profit. I asked about the basis of their estimate, which was high. They said it was based on standard pricing. I can't imagine one man and a shovel could possibly warrent the price I paid. Finally, Drexler agreed to put seed and straw down after the work was completed. They dumped the seed and straw on the mounded dirt before the job was inspected and the sight tubes removed - second-rate! Call a plumbing company that has equipment and workers to do the work and takes pride in their work - Drexler does not!

Provided by YPmobileJohn the plumber they sent out was so unprofessional and free estimate doesn't exist John stepped In our yard and told us it would be $227 before he could even look at anything's it was a diagnostic fee I thought I did my research by reading reviews. and checked. BBB. but was still scammed by Drexel
At Tom Drexler Plumbing, Air and Electric we accept and appreciate the comments of our customers – positive or negative. We work daily to ensure that each one of our customers are 100% satisfied with the price before we begin the job. As a tenant we strive for your satisfaction as well on the performance of the work but looked to the landlord to approve the upfront price that we provided, which was done.

Provided by YP.comThe hardware on our tub finally gave out and ran constantly. I called Tom Drexler Plumbing at 9:30 am and by 1 pm, it was fixed. Scott H. was friendly, prompt and upfront, and didn't mind my overly-friendly Welsh Corgi inspecting him. The job was done nicely and the job site left clean. Scott always put covers on his shoes before entering my home. Best of all, our water doesn't constantly run anymore!
Overall, this was a positive experience. I will use Tom Drexler Plumbing again without hesitation.

Provided by YP.comGood plumbers/technicians...however, prices can be incredibly high at times. Had a gas line that needed reconnected to fire place--connect the lines, add a valve--pretty basic stuff. Their estimate: $1,300+. Got a licensed plumber to do the same job for $225. Try and negotiate with a supervisor/manager--the techs are "locked in" on "what the book says" when they prepare an estimate.

Provided by YP.comI recently purchased an old home in the Louisville area and called Drexler to come snake the pipes and make sure that the plumbing was up to my needs. They did a wonderful job and I wanted to use them again when more issues presented themselves. Last week I discovered a gas leak coming from the fireplace and a leak in the bathroom sink. I was pleased with the previous work, so I called Drexler again and set an appointment to have someone come look at it. The appointment was set for the next day between 3-5 p.m., I could work around and not miss work. That time came around and I was at home waiting for the call to let me know that the technician was on his way...after the 2 hour window was up, I called to find out they were held up on a previous job but we be by my house next, with no timeframe to expect him. That didn't seem very professional that they couldn't communicate that to the customer and had places to be that evening. We rescheduled for the next open evening, between the same hours and my wife had added some more items she wanted upgraded. Right at 3 o'clock, I received a call to let me know they were on the way. When they got here an hour later, the technician was extremely competent and professional. He surveyed the immediate needs and the other work we wanted done and said he would recommend that the Remodeling Division come do the work, since part of the work was regrouting the bathroom (26' x 41' sq ft of tilework) and replacing the vanity. He said they would be able to do that work and repair the gas leak while they were here. We set a schedule for them to come see the job and quote the price. An hour and a half later, on my way to a meeting, one of the office staff calls me to tell me that the job is "too small scale for them". After a report in the news that construction spending is at it's lowest in years, it's good to know that Drexler is doing good enough to not need the business, good to know when I get my tax return and want a complete remodel of the bathroom in my basement. I will never use them and I highly recommend that people willing to spend the money on what may be a "small scale job" spend their money with a different company that wants the work.

Provided by YP.comI contacted Tom Drexler to install a new kitchen faucet (that I had), conect the kitchen sink and repair a toilet that periodically ran on it's own. I had some kitchen remodeling done and had been out of a kitchen sink for over a week. The gentleman was very friendly... a little too "chatty" for me personally, and began offering all the service programs. I declined as I just wanted the work done and my sink connected. During the work he had to leave to get another item he needed for completion of the job. Upon completion of the job I was presented with the bill....$818.21!!!! I about had a heart attack. I should have inquired about the price before hand but had no idea it would be that much and desparetly wanted my kitchen sink back.. I had had more involved plumbing jobs before and had never been charged anywhere near that amount. You can rest assured that I will NEVER call Tom Drexler again......I would wait months to get a job done before I would ever pay them that kind of money again. I learned my lesson the hard, and expensive way!

Provided by YP.comI called Tom Drexler's to repair a leaking toilet. I knew what the problem was because I repaired one of toilet before, but unable to bent because of knee surgery. The technician was polite and friendly, after inspecting the toilet he verified my diagnostics of the problem was correct (replace two bolts and the gasket on the toilet) and proceeded to his vehicle to give me a price for the repair. The cost of the repair was $327 plus a $49.50 service call charge for a total charge of $376.50. I declined this repair, went around the corner to Walmart purchased the parts for less that $10.00 (kit with two bolts, gasket and instructions $2.97 plus tax). It took a total of 30 minutes to buy and install parts, the same amount of time it took to get an estimate for repairs. Additional when I booked the appointment I was promised a 10 percent discount and that did not happen either. I have used this company in the pass (over $600 to "snake" a sewer line). I can not afford to use this company again, but service techs are great and the person offering discounts don't honor them.

Provided by YP.comThe folks at Tom Drexler Plumbing were a pleasure to work with. I had bought a house and the sellers were supposed to get a plumber to look at a particular sink because it was not draining. They did and it did not fix the problem. I had these guys come over to replace the shut off valves in the basement and we got to talking and I happend to mention it. He said he would take a quick look and I kid you not within about 45 seconds the sink was draining like a champ and still works great. Along with the valves they replaced. You know the price up front, no questions asked. Another plus. I would highly recommend them. Fast, professional, fair priced, and do solid work.
