I have been going here for nearly ten years (from the old building to the new building). I would never go anywhere else. I make sure to call ahead of time for my vet's schedule (Dr. Han) and they always make sure he is the one I see. I have been able to manage my pet's diabetes now OnLy because of Dr. Han. Everyone there is just so kind, thank you so much.

This place needs to be shut down!!!! They do not have a care or concern for your pet. All they care about is the grants they get from the city and their name within the community. My dog was in their care for 7 day and was groomed on his last day there and after I picked him up it was all down hill from there. They said that everything went great until I noticed that my dog could not open his left eye and it turn out that he had damaged his eye while in their care and NO ONE seemed to know anything about it. Until the groomer had the nerve to tell me that "yeah I noticed it but didn't think anything about it. So they basically told me in a nut shell that NO ONE had checked or care for my dog for the 7 days that he was there. I told them that there was noway they were going to care for my dog. Took him to another vet where cost me a arm and a leg to fix what they had missed.

I brought my cat to their hospital so I would not have to go to the animal ER. They didn't find anything wrong with him and said the problem could be a urine infection. That night my cat was crying out in pain so I took him to the animal clinic in Porter and they found crystals in his urine (cat kidney stones). How could a vet's office miss crystals in the urine. My poor cat suffered throughout the night because of what the vets missed.

Provided by YP.comSometimes we get a good vet. Sometimes we do not. The staff is good, friendly and helpful I guess it depends on what Vet you get. Find one you like and ask for that one.

Since the new hospital has opened the care given to the pets there is horrible. The vets are always in a rush and do not spend any time with you. Sometimes I do not even see a Vet only the Vet tech. I have brought my dog there 3 times, seen 3 different doctors and none of them could get it right. Now my dog may have permanent eye damage because it took them so long to diagnosis the problem. The kicker is that my dog has had eye surgery there before for the same problem. Each time i asked each Vet if that is what the problem is again and they said no. They sent me home with ointment and pain killers. Finally a vet there said it was entropium again. After 4 visits, 1 surgery and $700.00 his eye is still not fixed. I would suggest taking your pets to a personal practice where they can can can personal care and attention. Do not waste your time and money going to the Munster animal hospital.
