AVOID

2 months to fix a leaking cooktop. They ordered the wrong parts and it took over 3 weeks to order new parts. The service is TERRIBLE. I don't know how they stay in business.

If I could choose "No Star", I definitely would

I got an appoinment time set with 3hrs time frame, but no one showed up or ever called about being late. I gave them a call, which was answered by nonapologetic and rude customer rep. Without apologizing, she tried to push the new appt on me two week later. I refused to do that asking her to contact her manager to see if something better can be done.After that, when I came back home I got four calls - the repair techician stating he is running late and offering to stop by (1hr later), the manager who called without resolution plan, following the Warrantech company who manages the repairs saying that the Hospital refused to service me. The final call was from the polite (!) new service company rep giving me the details of my forthcoming appt.Avoid ARH at all time! Don't put yourself through the hassle I was put through. I bet their attitude towards customers is equal to their quality of repair.

Avoid

Our dishwasher started sending an error code out a few weeks ago. Using the manufacturer's website to find someone to service it I contacted Appliance & Refrigeration Hospital. I set up an appointment using their website for June 24 and got a confirmation email. The day of the service came and went and I heard nothing from them. I called and set up another appointment (they had no record of the first) for the following week June 30. I got a call yesterday from them say that they could get me an earlier appointment for July 6 rather than the 8th. When I asked about my appointment for the 30th, they had no record of that, saying my appointment was July 8. At this point I wanted nothing to do with an unreliable company that clearly has issues with scheduling and keeping appointments. Using the manufacturer's website again I found and called another repair place. The woman was very friendly and knowledgeable. I got an appointment the same day for a cheaper service rate.

Knowledgeable and affordable

We have a subzero refrigerator we inherited when we bought our house that has been a bit of a money pit. We tried a different repair service for three previous repairs (two times for the icemaker and once for the condenser). Decided to try someone different this time. What a difference. The repair person they sent was extremely knowledgeable and his first instinct seemed to be to "fix" what was wrong whereas the previous service people we had seemed to just want to replace whatever "invariably expensive" part was causing problems. Felt like we received much more quality for much less money than we paid for previous repairs. Highly recommend giving them a try.
