Just what I needed

I have been to the Minute Clinic a few times now- for things like the flu and sinus infections. They have always been on top of their game and once even told me that I didn't have a sinus infection (that it was viral) and instead of prescribing me something I didn't need she recommended some over the counter drugs and told me that if I wasn't any better in 3 days to come back and she would re-evaluate the situation. She was extremely nice and thoughtful- which is more than I can say about the care I have gotten from my slew of doctors over the last 27 years.

Will use minute clinic in the future

I went to the minute clinic because I couldn't get a same day appointment with my doctor. I was in and out of the minute clinic (with my prescription in hand!) in less than 30 minutes. The nurse was very attentive and kind. I would recommend the clinic to anyone.

don't go there!

Went in and practitioner ignored symptoms, wrote inaccurate information in file. Be very careful! mistakes with your health could cost more than just money!

No Waiting!!

I was in need to see a physician ASAP. Unfortunately I was not able to receive a same day appointment at my regular doctor's office. As result, I logged on to Minute Clinic website for a listing of offices in my location. I found one within a few minutes where I live. Within seconds of my arrivial at Minute Clinic, I was seen by "Lilly" the NP. She was very informative and professtional. She prescribed all the medications needed for my recovery. I am a healthcare provider as well and I will diffinately use Minute Clinic again. I highly recommend it!!

FAST AND COURTEOUS

I went in for a flu shot.

The registration was quick. Once I registered I saw the nurse practitioner quickly.

It's not a doctor's office and faster than other "urgent care" places.

If your need is straightforward, then this is a good choice.

Physician

minute clinics are staffed by nurse practitioners NOT physicians.

radio ads are very misleading as they state "board certified practitioners" which most patients would interpret as board certified physicians. their practitioners are nursing board certified nurse practitioners.

minute clinics do not treat young children, people with underlying disease, and lack xray and suturing capability.

NOT Urgent Care

Clinics are not urgent care centers. They have no physician on staff and no x-ray diagnostics. Clinic can not treat injuries, wounds or minor emergencies.

professional, friendly and clean

At 7pm my wife, with a 102 fever, said some things about how she felt and I became concerned. At 7:15pm, I found that we had a minute clinic near the entrance of our subdivision and decided to take her. I wasn't aware that the CVS had a clinic, and since it was getting late, I decided to give it a try.

We were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of help my wife received.

The sign-in/registration was very easy. The room was very clean. The "Doctor" was extremely professional, very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

Filling the prescription was obviously very convenient since the clinic is in a CVS.

Thanks!

in and out

Some issues with their computer system, but that was the only hold-up. We picked up our prescription 10 minutes after the diagnosis. The nurse practitioner was very knowledgeable and thorough.

Doesn't serve everyone

I went to a minute clinic for a bladder infection, and after waiting over an hour was told I couldn't be seen because of a pre-existing condition I have. If you have any auto-immune problems, are an older person, are diabetic, or are bringing in a baby, forget it. Check if you are eligible for treatment before you wait.

poor service

stay away from these clinincs. they should be shut down!!! the front desk staff is in need of training. they should actually be unemployed!!! i am filing formal complaints with the BBB and the medical board!!

I am a practitioner at Minute Clinic. I am concerned that you might be thinking of another clinic. We do not have front desk staff. 90% of our clinics are small clinics inside CVS and there is one practitioner on duty at a time.

This listing has been claimed by a business representative.
