During a very difficult time in my life by moving from NY to PA to better the lives of my children as a single mom, I have to say that I DID NOT ANY COMPLAINTS about using Move Our Stuff... My Movers, which to my understanding I was just getting one, I had TWO. All of my items were kept in tact from start to finish. The guys were so nice and helpful... My rep Joseph (Cipolla, I think was his last name) was the best and very much involved in assisting me.



They called to let me know they were on their way, when they were in front of my location and when they arrived before me to my destination and even a follow up call the next day to confirm everything was ok. It made for very little to stress about.



I used a little extra material so it was about maybe $15 more then I had to pay but I really thought it was going to be so much more. I had a huge TV I was concerned about and it made it intact. I had a bed I needed to have put together and even after the long day of driving and helping me move they took the time to help me put in together; my son and mine for that matter and my daughter crib (which was very heavy)



My dinning room table as well. I actually had a problem with one of the legs on the table and my mover was prepared with an Allen key I needed.



The time did run about a half hour over but I think that was more travel time then anything again it was state to state.



I would recommend this company HANDS DOWN!!!! 5 STAR REVIEWS!!



I CAN NOT BELIEVE THE REVIEW I JUST READ BELOW, THEY MUST BE FROM A COMPETATIVE COMAPNY BECAUSE I CAN’T POSSIBLY BELIEVE SOMEONE WOULD HAVE A PROBLEM WITH A FOLLOW UP AND THANK YOU CALL FROM A COMPANY HONESLTY!!!



And an estimate is exactly that an estimate!!! Given not a guarantee that I will not pay a penny more then they say without a move actually taking place, but to roughly inform me of what I would look forward to paying. I think it was fairly priced given all the things I had and even some thing I had forgotten to say.

I had the worst experience with this extremely shady moving company.

First, I had done research and contacted several different moving agencies. Each one of them came out and took an inventory, saw the setup of how our apartment was and then gave us an estimate. We also needed storage for a month or two in between the selling of our apartment and the closing of our house.

We had an estimate from one company for about 2,000 for our double move (apartment to storage to house). That included the storage of our things.

A friend had told us about moveourstuff.com and when I called up it sounded too good to be true. Turns out I was right! But not before being out almost 4,000. Nearly double what the other moving company was going to charge us. They never came in to look at our apartment to give us an accurate estimate.

We were moving from an 800 square foot apartment. Do you know how long that took the 3 men? About 11 hours. I have never in my life heard of such a thing. Since we were paying what I thought was a low hourly rate for a move I never ever expected the total to come to about 2,500. I was floored! I never thought it would take that long or cost that much.

I did sign a contract and was well aware of how much extra each hour would cost. However not being in the moving business, having other moving companies quote us a vastly different amounts, how was I supposed to know an 800 square foot apartment would take 11 hours to move? And the bottom line is that it shouldn’t have. Nor should I have anticipated that it would have.

I have two strong, valid points. My first point is that other moving companies who had actually come to see our apartment and our things quoted us a much smaller amount.

Secondly, the sales person Joe who was my main contact when he was setting me up with the move knew that we were trying to save money. I had said that to him from the beginning that the whole reason why we were going with his company was to save money. So if he had any idea that the move would take so long he should have said that to me. If he didn’t know that it would take so long and was blindsided like I was then he should understand why I am shocked at having to pay that amount! He never acknowledged that I should have been surprised or that he should have warned me.

$2,500 to move an 800 square foot apartment over 11 hours…this is not standard for the industry at all. And we are not hoarders!!!

Then, the worst part is that they still had our stuff in storage. So when we contracted them to move our stuff back in, we had initially talked about a move in hourly rate that was low. This time I was not allowing that to happen again. Joe gave me a flat rate move. And guess what? The movers had our stuff in the house in 2.5 hours tops. Hmmm – how do you go from 11 hours moving out to 2.5 hours moving in? Extremely shady. Especially when both scenarios worked in their favor. 11 hours moving out for an hourly rate and 2.5 hours moving in for the flat rate. In fact one of the movers even commented “1350 for 2.5 hours? That is a lot.”





That was coming from one of their own!!!

And the worst part is that I am pregnant and trying to cut costs at every turn. I feel taken advantaged of which is horrible to feel especially when you are pregnant. The whole experience has made me very stressed out.

Stay far away from this shady business. There are many other moving companies that can do the job for you and that are reputable.

This company quoted me one price then the DAY BEFORE my move they called to confirm my appt and said the price would be more than $100 more than they quoted me and if the driver was stuck in traffic it would be more and I'd have to pay that. They had incorrect inventory from what I told them a week before and said I never told them how many flights of stairs there were, which I definitely did. They then told me I could cancel with no fee and when I did THEY CHARGED ME $275 for CANCELING! So frustrating. I'm sorry, but a $275 fee is ridiculous for a service you're not providing. Not to mention that my appt was never officially confirmed since they were supposed to call 4 days before to confirm a move and they called me the day before and I never confirmed it because they changed the price so drastically AND they were incredibly rude.



DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS!



THEY LIE, CHEAT, AND STEAL YOUR MONEY!

You think moving would be so stressful that you want to pull your hair out it happened so quick that there was no time to even worry. i needed to get my things out my home so i can re-do my floors my stuff was brought to storage until the floors were ready, and everything came back the same as it left. job well done

i would give all the stars just based on customer service alone but there was a minor damage to my couch, which i witnessed the couch get stuck at the top of the steps which is not the movers fault they had to get it done somehow. Wish it didn't happen but cannot control everything in life, once i contacted the company we came to an agreement and now i will be using them again over the summer.

This company worked great from...

This company worked great from the time i picked up the phone till they took my stuff to my new home. Everything packed and wrapped very nicely with the supplies that was needed. My glass items were taken care of well as long with my old style T.v. I was very satisfied as was my wife. Defiantly would recommend this company to be used, such hard working men and respectful! ALL 5 STARS!

Very disappointing. While initially appearing on the up and up and learned the hard way that this was not the case. The movers did come on time and worked hard. They broke an expensive piece of furniture and then attempted to claim that it was damaged prior to their visit. Another piece of furniture was never delivered, which I am assuming was broke on the truck and they just didnt have the nerve to tell me they damaged yet another piece of furniture. I was pleased to be given the option of submitting a claim, just to be completely ignored when following up to see if it was approved. The movers appeared frustrated, seeming in a rush to get to another job and again lied to me when I asked that a railing be removed from a bed stating I had to order another piece. I then took it off after they left. If I wasnt required to pay in full prior to the delivery of furniture to my new home (their policy) I would have never tipped them. I would not ever use them again nor would I advise any of my friends or family members to use them. Very professional and organized when they want your business but everything went downhill afterward.

Bought the living social deal and they weaseled their way around the three hours making our move only two hours and made us pay another $100 for a half hour that was still within the three hour limit. Read the fine print. This was not worth the "deal" I thought I was getting. This man Joe knew he was going to charge me extra from the start. He also threatened to call the cops if I took my stuff off the truck without paying the extra money. TERRIBLE customer service. DO NOT USE!

Moving out of my home was one ...

Moving out of my home was one of the most scariest things that i had to do!! Me and my Husband have so many great memories there, watching our kids grow up in that home have there kids visit and hang. It was time to go, we are going down south for warm weather and enjoy life. So choosing a mover was defiantly a difficult decision! I searched around got quotes- price was high but they worked with me. So moving day came, guys were on time! They stacked up the truck and off they went with my stuff. When it arrived to my home in SC nothing was broken or unaccounted for.. very satisfied, i give all 5 stars and will post reviews on sites for people to see !

This Company was great I had not a worry in mind, they gave me a guaranteed price for the move. With packing material included. My friend had used recommened the company and i was very impressed. The guys worked quick and so well i did not have any complaints , ding or dent in the walls. Funiture got wrapped with the blankets and the shrink wrap which was included with the price. Got a couple quotes these guys deffanly werent the cheapest but you get what you pay for in this world and this was well worth it!!

Moving out of my home after 30+ years, to a different state with just as much crap. All my childrens baby toys, clothes, pictures all there memories. So picking a company which i felt would take care of my stuff! Went through a couple companys but the man who set up my move was so sweet and helped me every step of the way! I sent him some quotes i got from other companies too. We talked about the stuff i was taking and he gave me a guanateed price, got me supplies i would need and we were on the way.. The day of the move came; guys were a hit traffic on the way, they called and told me and it was ok they worked through there lunch to keep the time going..i had to put my stuff in storage untill my house was ready down south. No problems when i got my stuff back. Very reasonable priced and great customer service!!

I had a good expiernce with this company. They were alittle outside the 8-10 window but they maid up for it with thier work! I was quoted for packing and they did such a great job. it was an all day affair but they guys didnt skip a beat. Over all was very happy with the outcome of this move!

Move Our Stuff is not a reputable company. I have an open complaint with the better business bureau on these guys. They are a bait and switch operation and the truck they sent to my move needed a new transmission. They charged me and held onto my furniture unless I agreed to their second visit in the same lousey truck which was over loaded with a jacuzzi. Probably why it didn't make it up the hill. If you have no choice, demand a flat fee from these guys cause they will nickle and dime you by the minute.
