The best moving company I have worked with for my business and home. Customer service is great!

They showed on time, we're incredibly efficient while still being careful with my valuables and furniture and we're very polite and respectful. My sales rep was an absolute dream to work with and I can assure you that I will be using them again!

Moving is hard. It's emotional and stressful. I am writing this review as a thank you to the amazing team that moved us yesterday. They came to our home and gave us a very reasonable quote. The foreman showed up with 4 guys right on time and they rocked it out. These guys worked so hard and had a great attitude the entire time. I've moved several times in Virginia and you never know what you are going to get. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

To keep it short….. I like them and would recommend them to any1. I think everybody on this site already said everything good about them that I wanted to say Great.

Moving is always hard but Southside Moving & Storage definitely made it easier. They came in and packed and moved things very efficiently. They were very nice and very accommodating. Courtney was my sales contact and was very responsive and helpful. The next time I move, I'm using Southside Moving & Storage.

I used Southside Moving & Storage this week, setting up the job was very straight forward. They were my contact and they were great and made the process very seamless. The pick up took place without me being there and all went well. When the delivery guy came to our house. They were great, pleasant, friendly and professional. I was really happy with the service....couldn’t have gone smoother really...I will certainly use them again.

I have used Southside Moving & Storage twice for office moves, and both times been pleased with the results. My last move had to occur at 5am in order for us to be out of our building by 8am, and they did so, and had us settling into our new office around the corner by 9am. If we ever have to move offices again (hopefully not!) I will certainly be calling them again.

I've used them for my last three moves. They may not be the least expensive, but I think you are getting a good (perhaps not great) value. All of the three moves have been professional, nothing broken, on time.

Southside Moving & Storage was a pleasure to work with and a big help during such a stressful move. Southside Moving & Storage really makes it easy for you - quick and efficient - they came and packed up my life in 45 min. I didn't have to do anything but open the door and sign a few things. I highly recommend using them if you're looking for a storage company in the Virginia area.

I've used Southside Moving & Storage probably 6 times by now for both local and long-distance moves and have nothing but good things to say regarding their service. At this point, wouldn't consider using anyone else. I've used binding estimates each time, which they've stuck to.

They are cheap and efficient. They beat the estimates I got from 4 other movers by $300! Literally. They charged me $700 while the other places were charging me $1000! They were early on moving day, did it in less time. Honestly, this was truly as good as it gets in moving!

A slightly belated, but no less deserved review for Southside Moving & Storage. They were available in a pinch when my previously booked movers didn't show up, and they were perfect. The movers were on time, professional, efficient, and thorough. Their pricing was competitive, and they came with all of the supplies needed to carefully move my belongings into my new home.

My son used Southside Moving & Storage to move from Virginia to Tennessee. They were EXCELLENT. They quoted a reasonable price, stuck to it, were helpful on the phone before the move, arrived on time, worked extremely hard in extreme heat, maintained their good humor throughout the long day of the move, were very careful with all of his possessions, and were very helpful in setting up the furniture. We would recommend them HIGHLY.

had an excellent experience with this company. They moved me out of my old apt and into a rental apt and stored my stuff for a year while my new place was being renovated. They are organized, professional, and responsive. After a year in storage, not one item was missing or damaged when they moved me into my new place. Can't say enough good things about Southside Moving & Storage.

I moved up to Maryland ahead of my fiancé and left her to coordinate the move with Southside. They showed up late, were severely understaffed and then took three times as long as any other of my 4 moves across the country. They were supposed to be finished by 1pm on the second day and (after leaving for 2 hours) didn't finish packing at the old house until 12:30 in the morning which left my fiancé to have to find a hotel for the night as driving was not an option. Then they didn't show up to unload until 2pm after scheduling 8am. Needless to say they weren't done until 1 in the morning. Additionally, my fiancé and I had to help them in order to get done by that time! I asked for money back after all the heartaches and the owner not only insulted me and my fiancé by only offering $200 but then was rude and completely discounted the value of my business to my face! If these were the only movers left on the planet, I would not use them again. I can't express how horrible they were at all aspects.

Great move - exactly fit in tight window and schedule. Very professional, efficient and friendly moving crew of 3 guys. They moved a piano and furniture for our Mom who had passed away after we contracted for the move and they were able to adjust to our new circumstances and be effective and sensitive to our needs. The move was completed without problems and with care and consideration for us and our Mom's belongings. They were terrific with the piano and knew exactly how to handle it.

Southside moving was great for me during my move. Very professional and on time. They didnt waste any time moving my items. For the price and service I would recommend them to anyone.
