Provided by YP.comI swear to God that just the fact of thinking about going to kickboxing makes me happy everyday. Yes, I go everyday. All the instructors are the nicest, charming, loving people on earth. The more I go, the more inspire I feel by them to do one more burpee or one more push up. More than a gym and instructors, It feels like home and family.

Provided by YP.comiLoveKickboxing has made all the difference for me as I work in an office and need a way to get exercise on a regular basis! The classes are engaging and I always leave happy, tired and inspired to do even better! The instructors infectious attitudes make me want to work harder, not just at my fitness but at my kickboxing technique - I absolutely love it!

Provided by YP.comI love everything about this kickboxing gym in Chelsea. First of all you feel very welcomed the moment you arrive. All instructors are extremely friendly and very inspiring. They would explain to you every little thing and make you feel like you belong to a family. Fit family!
The workouts are awesome . Highly intense, let you work out each and every muscle. I felt sore after my first classes but it's more of a pleasant pain. It's like the best pain you want in your life.
Then you get used to it and learn more and more about the kicks and punches as well as become stronger. As for me after each class i start liking it a little bit more)
On your first training you will be guided by the trainer individually. Then you will always work out in a group. I personally love even share the bag because it doesn't allow you to stop and take a break. It doesn't change you unless it challenges you, right? Always try to come 15 mins earlier, evening classes are usually really crowded.

did Tae Kwon Do for 7 to 8 years since I was 12 years old and I stopped when I moved back to NYC. Who knows, I'll probably get back into it, but joining ILKB awakened my love for Martial Arts and got me
to get into a fitness workout I can enjoy. I just hope with what I go through in my life outside of it gets me through to hitting my fitness goals and to be proud of my own body! ❤

Provided by YP.comI started off completely out of shape - they welcomed me and made me feel like I was a success just because I walked in the door. The workouts are very intense - but they work on all fitness levels. They will always be a challenge and they will always be different, so you can eliminate boredom from your fitness routine. The music is great and the environment exudes fun! I highly recommend checking them out!

Provided by YP.comI am currently training for half ironman. Between all the endurance training whether I'm biking swimming and running. This is good class to supplement the much need strength and core workout I need. You will sweat in this class! The first 15 minutes is high intensity workout continuous burpees, pushups, planks then you go into punching a bag. The instructors are good. They make sure your form is right and very approachable. I highly recommend!

Provided by YP.comILoveKickboxing Chelsea is an amazing place with amazing staff! They motivate you to be a better you and to become more fit. After two months, I already feel myself becoming stronger and my punches and kicks are getting better. I highly recommend trying this studio.

Provided by YP.comILKB Chelsea has been one of the best decisions I have made. I was never the one to join a gym but after my first class here I joined right away. All the instructors there are very motivating and each class gives me even more energy afterwards.

Provided by YP.comDefinitely worth every penny. I originally signed up for a few classes but after taking my first class and having one of the best workouts of my life, I decided to get a membership. Classes actually get me to work out, sweat and feel accomplished-- more than I would feel going to a regular gym. Definitely worth a try if you are interested in working-out, losing weight, or just wanting atmosphere that pushes you to do your very best. The staff is also very friendly and welcoming.

Provided by YP.comILoveKickboxing at the Chelsea location is incredible! Every time I walk in the staff are so cheerful and say hi to me by name even if I haven't been in for a week or so. Each class is quite a work out but it is more than worth it - I haven't been so toned, felt so healthy or alive since high school! Kickboxing here is always a great way for me to start my day, and an amazing way for me to work off stress!

Provided by YP.comBefore I moved to Manhattan, I knew I wanted to start kickboxing. I looked at many NYC kickboxing gyms and decided on ILKBChelsea, and I'm so glad I did! The gym is clean, the instructors are upbeat and energetic and the music selection makes me keep up my pace. The thing I like most is that at every class, they have additional floating instructors that observe each student and help with form. It's great because not only does it keep you motivated, it guards against injury. I purchased membership after my first class!

Provided by YP.comThis place is AWESOME. I decided to try kickboxing because I need to do something active and engaging to get fit. My first class was at 6:30am - and I am by no means a morning person. But my life really has changed since I've started coming here. I actually wake up excited at 5:30 am to get to classes which is such a change from my usual waking up at 930 for work. But I feel so much better throughout the day. I was going to the gym for a while and not seeing any changes in my body but in the few weeks that I've been coming here I've lost a few pounds and I just feel generally awesome!
The trainers are so enthusiastic, encouraging and helpful. There are certain exercises that I cannot do at all because of lower back pain and they are great about modifying them to make them less painful for me. And they never make me feel bad for not being able to keep up with certain exercises or having to do them differently. It is also very apparent that they love what they do and their enthusiasm makes me push myself even more.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking to have fun while getting fit. The staff is awesome, the studio is clean and orderly, and you will have the time of your life!

Provided by YP.comOkay so they got me on the first day after I worked out for an hour. I've been wanting to get back into shape after I let myself go throughout the year and immediately after my first class, I was so sore! I was in so much pain but it was for a great reason! The instructors definitely worked my behind off. The more intense the workout became, the more I got into it. Literally, no pain no gain! The staff is so nice and you can feed off of their energy to pick yourself up. Some may feel intimidated by the way they yell but they only do it to motivate you. I'm about to go to my third class tomorrow and I can't wait!
If you are someone that needs to become more motivated and need instruction, come to ILKB! You will not be disappointed! I ended up signing up for the 11 month deal. I cancelled my other gym membership. I'm ready to see the change and be the updated old me.
