Called Roto Router and was told a dispatcher would let me know when the tech would arrive, ver professional team. Steve arrived, diagnosed the problem in a heart beat. The problem was solved in about 20 mins. I asked to sit down to write up the invoice but he remained standing so as not to dirty any furniture. Very fast on call time, great customer service team. they worked with me all of the way. I wouldn't call anyone else for my plumbing needs! thank you!

Never told us in advance that ther show up fees are $425.00 . Came, took toilet seat off, could not clean the drain, left everything unopened and hit us with the bill of $625.00 and left. When we called and ask why they did not tell us in advance of theirs minimum charges, the guy on the phone was really rude and said this is his pricing. And started lying that he told us for come up fees of $425.00. Which is not true. We woul never agree for this price.

Why does this come up as an option on yellow pages if they do not service that area?

I have been over 24 hours for a plumber to just show up. Every time I call the dispatcher is suprised no one has called or shown up. I tried to file a cimplaint with the main office, another joke. No call back as promised again and still plumber. Will never recommend. Had to give 1 star because this app will not allow zero stars

My nephew's friend was originally our plumber who charged us a ridiculous amount of money to snake out our toilet. He wasn't able to fix it so I called Roto Rooter, and they were able to fix the issue with no problems.

The service tech, Dominic was wonderful. Did an awesome job.

We were having a horrible catastrophe with our plumbing right before the first predicted blizzard of 2015. We were getting a backup of sewage into our sinks in the basement and our bathtub. We have 5 people living in the home-two be elderly, including my mother who has dementia. Believe it or not, we had the flu at that time and could not use the toilet. It was very stressful with everyone being sick and this plumbing issue happening at the same time. I contacted Roto Rooter the night before the blizzard, by computer to request an appt for the next day. They came by early afternoon. The first worker came with an 85 ft snake, but could not completely clear the tree roots and clog. He saw my anxiety and tried to contact the team that could send out a jet stream power machine, which could reach 135 ft to flush the pipes. He stayed for an extra 1/2 just to make sure the jet stream machine team would come before the storm got worse. It had already started to snow heavily, so this was a sacrifice on their part. I did not get charged for the first attempt to clear the pipes, because that is the policy of Roto Rooter to not charge if they can not fix the problem.

With the pipes being old, the jet stream team reduced the pressure of the machine to protect the pipes from breaking. We were given a 6 month guarantee that if the problem was not properly fixed, they would come back free of charge. All in all, my experience with all the workers has been very amazing in this day and age, when good service is hard to find. They tried to work with us in every way, including coming back free of charge to check a separate issue having to do with a fill valve problem with our toilet. I would recommened Roto Rooter for their professionalism, team effort, quality of machinery, warranty on the work done, and levels of service to make the job more efficient. Whether it is a simple or serious problem, Roto Rooter can help!

Kevin was great! Arrived within 45 minutes of our call at 9pm in the midst of a snow storm. He was able to identify and resolve the problem within an hour. The price was high but worth every penny given the circumstances.

They estimated $400 for a snake down a main line block!!! I want to do business with them, but that is just too steep!

I have called Roto-Rooter for years for plumbing and root problems. Just recently I needed to call them for 4 separate plumbing issues. Roto-Rooter answers quickly with a service call, gives a free estimate and stands by their work. If for some reason the technician is tied up and will be later than the timeframe specified, Roto-Rooter calls with an updated time. Of particular note recently Roto-Rooter put in a new water heater and were very helpful in making the selection of the model to purchase. They had the job completed in record time. Roto-Rooter also fixed a leak behind a bathroom wall and corrected the issue quickly and cleanly and did so with no damage to the bathroom wall other than a spot behind the toilet tank which they used to access the leaking pipe. I am very pleased with Roto-Rooter's work and technicians. I would like to thank all of the technicians; especially Dave and Jason (the two most recent technicians who came to repair issues and performed excellent work).

They were very prompt when I called them on Sunday morning. There were no extra charges for the weekend. Very kind and courteous.

Roto-Rooter replied quickly to my problem and arrived promptly within the promised time-frame. The worker was pleasant, friendly and concerned that I was happy with his work. He identified my plumbing problem immediately and quickly set to work to solve it. He was professional and cleaned up after himself when the job was completed. At the end of the job he again demonstrated concern that I was happy and satisfied with his work. I would recommend Roto-Rooter to anyone with a plumbing problem.

Our Roto-Rooter service technician did a great job. We had a leak somewhere between our house and the water meter, and he was able to almost pin-point where the leak was located. Unfortunately it was almost directly beneath a tree. The technician was able to dig/cut through roots and patch the leak for us. He never complained and was always in good spirits even though he had to cut through 7 inch thick roots to find the leak. After all was said and done, you wouldn't even know Roto-Rooter was at our house to fix a leak. He fixed our landscaping so that it looked like it had never been touched. Great work; will definitely call them(him) again for any plumbing issues.

We had a positive experience with Roto-Rooter. Our service man, Mike, was friendly and efficient. He identified the problem quickly and resolved it in a timely manner. After identifying the problem, he told us the price up front. Then it was up to us to decide if we wanted him to go ahead and fix it. There were no hidden cost. The company is upfront with you over the phone and explains that if you choose not to have the issue fixed, there is a service fee that needs to be paid. However, that fee is waived, if you choose to have it fixed. We will use them again if needed.

Don't call roto-rooter for service. They charge $185 / hr labor but they won't tell you that. Call other companies or local plumbers. I really had bad experience with them and their customer service is horrible too. Tech was really rude and lied about everything he said. This company seems to make money by cheating customers.
