Amazing burgers- including some interesting game meat choices. The place is owned by a father and son, but seems a bit understaffed. This caused some messing up of our orders, but nothing too bad. Really helpful and friendly staff (especially when you can't seem to make up your mind which mouth-watering selection to make! Ty’s Burger House is walking distance from the beautiful beach in Oceanside and is perfect for a post-beach day grub stop. After a relaxing day in the sun, I know all I could think about was a yummy burger. I definitely have to go back to try their imported Kangaroo burger along with their delicious sweet potato fries.

This burger should be called the awesome burger. The Jalapeno Burger has the following: Avocado, Pepper Jack Cheese, Roasted Jalapeno & Chipotle Ranch Dressing. The host/waitress was excellence very nice and so inviting... She attend all her guest with a smile... Her energy was a Happy joyful. Love everything about this place!

Located in downtown Oceanside, offers a variety of burgers and salads. My burger was delicious with a tasty sauce and large side of perfectly cook fries. There is a great outdoor patio area out back to sit and enjoy a cold beer with your burger. Friendly staff. Definitely worth a trial- good prices!

Burger house made the best burgers ever! The bacon bleu cheese burger is my favorite. Unfortunately it seemed the last couple of times I've gone the quality has dipped. I still go cause it's still better than most.

Don't Hesitate. Eat here. I am on the road five days a week so I look to find solid "go to" places that are reasonably priced. This place has got it. Had a Sourdough Mushroom Melt with a side salad choice. Salad was generous and bright with good presentation. Melt was just right. Crisp with right mix of burger, cheese, onion, and sauce. Plenty of menu choice. It is always amazing how with the same set of ingredients one place can kill it better than another. These guys are doing a great job. 6 beer taps and 4 wine selections are a nice add for a place this size. Saw a couple of good looking main dish salads go by.

Was craving a big juicy burger and was tired of the in & out scene being from texas and all. This place went above and beyond. They have wild game burgers when in season and are delish. I went w their sweet potato fries and they never disappoint. Even had one of my fav beers from a local brewery in Vista. Reasonably priced and I think I found my new burger and beer spot. Worth a trip!

Just sat down and enjoyed one of the BEST Western BBQ Bacon burgers ever!!! This is a small local burger joint with awesome food, great prices and very friendly staff. Burgers and side portions are huge and very fairly priced for the amount of food you get. Would definitely come back and try something else next time!!

That was a great burger! Husband had the mac 'n cheese burger (tastes, cheesy Mac!) and I had a California burger. Both were excellent! Good seasoned fries and awesome onion rings!

. Ty’s Burger House has completely blown me away. They have this signature Mac & Cheese Burger. It was so big I needed a fork a practically had an additional side with all the mac and cheese on this burger. OMG…. Delicious. The guy at the front was very friendly and the place was really clean. It is that SoCal Beach Burger joint… A must!!!!

So Good!!. My family and I stopped in during our vacation and were so impressed we brought more people with us the next day. The food was great and the customer service was awesome. A homeless man came in the restaurant claiming it was his birthday. The owner said "you've been telling me that all week." But two minutes later he brought the man some food and didn't charge him. Very impressed.

Been eating at Ty's for a couple years now. You can always tell a quality place by how clean the bathroom is. Attention to the little behind the scenes details is what makes a restaurant 5 stars. Very creative menu as well... Mac n Cheese burger is awesome! I get it almost every time.

Ahhhh man you want the freshest and best burger you've ever had! Stop by and grub it up at the burger house. They are off the hook! Awesome they are like a stones from my office and the salads are off the hook too. Quality all around!

All of our family and friends have migrated away from one of our regular eateries to the Burger House. I get the chicken sandwich because I can't eat the burgers, but every burger comes out great. Scott asks us after every meal what he can do to make it better every time, which has made each visit better tha the last. Ranch dressing with the fries is a must, whether you get the regular or sweet potato fries! Great, clean, welcoming atmosphere for families and singles alike. Hope this one makes it into the list of long lasting restaurants for younger generations to enjoy!

Awesome! This place is a BURGER JOINT! Great selection of burgers and a few micro brews on tap, along with healthy choices and some off the wall, such as buffalo, elk, venison and kangaroo burgers. It's quintessential Oceanside: funky nostalgia meets the beach. Laid back and friendly staff. Typically you have to travel to LA to get this kind of retro scene.

What a swell place! First time in this evening and had a huge create your own burger that was outta this world. Nice, yet small, selection of beer on tap at a reasonable price. The burgers were fresh, hot, tasty, and ever so filling. If I had to pick one thing to complain about it would have been the fact that my stomach was too small to fill my taste buds desires, hehe... loved it! ohhh, the place had a very warm, welcoming, and clean atmosphere as well. Very clean! If Oceanside wants to continue to clean up its reputation more places like this are a must. Can’t wait for a return visit!

I've been here a few times now because my best friend really loves it. I think its pretty good usually, we just hang out here for a while the staff are cool and friendly. I always have the Western Burger. The fries are really good. Last time I went in though we found not one but TWO hairs in my burger. That was pretty bad. I still have the hair I brought it home.

The best Burgers in Oceanside hands down, my friends and I have tried almost every burger on the menu and everything is fantastic. We go there just about once a week and have a fantastic time. The staff is wonderful and always pleasant. The have great weekly lunch specials. My friend loves the Western Burger, we always have a great time, I can’t wait for the summer to take our friends and family to sit out on the patio and enjoy some yummy beer. It’s a must try totally worth the great prices...

I was looking for a great little place to eat in Oceanside and Ty’s Burger House is the place. They have great light salads too, (burger house implies only big greasy burgers) but they have incredible gourmet burgers and something on the menu to make everyone happy. The atmosphere is very Comfortable and I love the patio that they have out back to eat. It is located just a little bit off of the main drag of PCH 101 where they are doing that construction. It’s a little hard to get to now, but a really nice place with good food at reasonable prices.

I took my boyfriend to Ty’s Burger House on Valentine's Day because I absolutely love it.¬¬ ¬¬¬¬ I had been before but it was his first time. I got the same thing I got last time (because I was thinking about it all day) - the veggie burger. It is phenomenal. Made with an array of fresh, flavorful ingredients it holds together very well and has an excellent, unique flavor. It’s perfect topped with the lettuce, tomato, bread & butter pickles, and light sauce that already comes on it. My boyfriend got a bacon Mac &cheeseburger which he said was great. The thin-cut fries have that awesome seasoning on them too. Every time I go, they just get better and better. Great job guys!!! Next time though, I plan on taking advantage of that nice outdoor patio in the back. I didn’t see it until after we started eating. LoL
