I was referred to Kris by the Private Investigator that I was using. I was involved in trying to prove co-habitation on my ex-wife so that I could have alimony stopped. He looked at the evidence that I had and with input from the PI, he told me that I had a good chance. He cost effectively and expeditiously collected the evidence and presented the case with a great outcome. He is professional and really cares for his clients. If I am ever in need of legal representation again, he will be my first call.

Divorce is a tough thing, but Kris was fantastic at negotiating the terms. Dealing with my ex was no walk in the park, as she told me she would "take everything!" several times. Kris encouraged me to stick to my values and to my rights as a loving father. Being a parent and making sure my kids needs are met both emotionally and physically are, and will continue to be, very important to me. I went to Kris after being referred to him by some family I am glad that I went he helped me with my divorce to get me what I wanted which was time with my daughter, he made sure I understood the process and what we were up against me being a man in the state of Utah, he was always there to listen to me when I was frustrated or to respond to an email when I was frustrated and depressed. I needed the best family law attorney in Ogden, as you probably do, too. After reading all of the five-star reviews for Kris Greenwood, I called and asked if I could interview him over the phone. Kris aced all my questions and I could tell he would be worth his weight in gold! I wanted someone who would remember all the details of my situation. I wanted to feel like I was his most important client, be assured he was extremely capable, and see he was doing everything possible to help me avoid a trial, but would be ready if it came to that. Fortunately, Kris and I worked very well together, even though I was not local. We had phone calls, emails, FAXs and scans and we didn’t meet in person until the morning of our mediation. Imagine this. My wife and I got a call from our son saying that he was in jail in Utah, and had been arrested on charges of a DUI, drug possession, drug paraphernalia, and obstruction of justice. And we live in Idaho!I didn’t know what to do, so I got a hold of Kris and his legal team. I can’t tell you how hard he fought for our son. Kris reviewed all of the evidence and the charges, and built a case to defend our son.Bottom line, the drug possession and obstruction of justice charges were dropped. The DUI was reduced to a “Driving with a Detectable Limit”, and the drug paraphernalia charge will be dismissed in 6 months if our son does not get into any trouble.The prosecutor wanted 12 months probation with drug testing, and Kris got them to drop this entirely.Our son would have been entangled in the Legal System for years over this, but with Kris’s help, he has a new lease on life! Kris returns every phone call, and he makes you feel like you are his only client. I have never seen an Attorney who works so hard and has so much integrity. You would be crazy to pick another Attorney other than Kris.

If you are considering retaining this attorney please reconsider. The first review is a review made by his secretary, which is a testament to his dishonesty. His first priority is to money and the courts. He will not challenge jurisdiction and he will not stop the proceedings even if he can. If you really need to challenge the court seek different counsel.

Kris took care of all the issues in my divorce in a timely manner. Prices were reasonable for the area. He did his best to get me the best settlement and keep me out of court. I will recommend him to my friends and family.

Kris will overstate his time at $250.00 per hour. Every simple thing he has his secretary do will cost at least an hr. It cost me about $20,000 for a divorce that didn't involve any children. Just dividing up home equity, savings and some alimony.
