As a single woman and a homeowner, I've dealt with my fair share of dishonest contractors. Ken is honest, probably to his own detriment at times. He's straightforward about the time and cost involved, including refusing to guess at an hour allowance if he truly won't know until he opens up the walls, and will tell you if he doesn't feel the work is necessary, even if it means losing business. As for the work itself, since I am not an electrician I couldn't say, but my lights and outlets do what I expect them to, and the work passed inspection. Oh, yes, and Ken actually files permits, while I have dealt with electricians who charged twice as much that did not.

I had these guys come out and replace a outlet in my kitchen,I called them at 9:00am and he said he had a couple of things to do and he will be rite out. He arrived around 4:30pm. They left around 5:45- 6:00pm. Seemed a long time to do a simple job. They where very nice and helpful and gave ideas on improving my home. But took to long to arrive and to get the job done.

I appreciate Ken coming out so quickly and making the lighting repairs that I needed in a very quick and efficient manner. He was friendly and got the job done without any hassle or delays. Thanks so much!

Recently I had the good fortune to have Thurston Electric Inc., perform some work for me. And, I just have to recommend them to you. Do yourself a favor and call them for your electrical jobs. I’d been trying for a few weeks to get a bid on having some additional 110 outlets put in and activated—needless to say the bids were all over the place—ridicules! What a hassle. Until I talked with Ken at Thurston Electric. Ken was easy to reach and talk to, he even set an appointment for the following day to come see me. He didn’t humble and bumble around about my needs, attempting to b.s., me into things I didn’t ask for. Instead, he told me what he would need to do; the materials he would need, the number of hours that it would take him to accomplish my project, and how much he’d charge. Friendly, affordable and knowleable service professionals. They wired my electric water heater and added an outdoor 30 RV outlet for $250.00 cheaper than the cost other companies wanted to charge me for just the hotwater heater wiring. I would recommend them to friends and family.

I called Thurston Electric, LLC out to a job that I am working on as a contractor that had been affected by water damage because the customer wanted to know who to turn to about some water damage that has affected some circuts in his basement. Two technicians arrived at the job to present good manerism to my customer and had communicated effectively with the customer what had gone wrong with the circut and they easily fixed the problem. I was pleased to know that they had done so quickly and effectively with out growing the job like other contractors sometimes do. Excavation by a paving contractor uncovered and damaged many water lines and power to the swimming pool light and ground wire. He recommended Thurston Electric Company. Ken immediately came out to look at the damage, arranged for an onsite consultation with an electrician experienced with pool wiring on Sunday without any additional charge for their time. The electrical code states that the ground wire should be a solid continuous wire from the pool to the power source. Ordinary splices will not pass code and it was impossible to install a new ground wire since the orginal wire was embedded in the cement pool decking. Ken researched the best solutions to meet code requirements and his electrician Mike corrected the problems promptly, neatly and correctly which passed the electrical inspectors careful inspection the first time. I finally found an electrical contractor that is prompt, efficient, neat work and at a very reasonable fee for service.

Ken and his company handled the whole electric job on our remodelling project; we have been surprisingly pleased by this company and all of the employees who work in the company; these workers are knowledgeable. skilled, pleasant, and they go beyond the call of duty. For one example--- one of the employees came out on his own on a Sunday--- to fix something that would protect us in the future; he came out as soon as he had thought about it. I would not hesitate to say that it is unlikely that we would get the same level of service at the same reasonable price from any other company. The owner of the company; Ken, hires good quality people and he runs his company by expecting excellent quality at all levels and in all jobs. Needed a new 220 outlet for my dryer, called them first thing Monday morning and Mike was at our house in 2 hours. Got it done, cleaned up and out with in an hour. Would recommend them to everyone. Personable, professional and affordable. Thank you very much.

We had some work done by a general contractor and it was both shoddy and NOT done under the appropriate permits. We called Thurston Electric and someone was out here on the next business day to make all the needed corrections! Mike worked quickly, but didn't miss a single aspect of the work. In four hours, he properly re-did all the wiring work the other guy had spent a week goofing around with, and left the area clean, safe, and well-explained. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Thurston to anybody, and they don't come out trying to make an extra buck by creating more work than you really need to have done either. I was impressed and pleased.

No job is too small for Ken. I had a bedroom light that was not working. Ken figured it out and had it fixed within 10 minutes. It had to do with the incorrect wiring of a light switch in another bedroom (which was my DIY mistake). I had called him on a Tuesday. He was in Wednesday morning to fix it. He offered to do it sooner but I wasn't in a huge rush. The cost was very reasonable. And to top it all off, Ken is a real pleasure to talk to and work with. Anyone I know seeking a referral for an electrician will get his name from me.

Lets put it like this, He baught a wife from Russia and he treated her so bad that she packed up, paid the money back, and bought a plane ticket back to her comunist country. Now thats evil ! ;,/
