Great for Specialty Care!

This hospital took such good care of our 9yr Old Yorkie who suddenly became ill one night. They did everything to help her for three weeks off and on we had to rush her back and forth through this illness. They really did everything to try and save her and the doctors were absolutely wonderful! In the end there was nothing anyone could do, at least I know they tried everything! We plan to bring our Great Dane their for a special surgery that most places do not perform due to expertise. Our normal vet highly recommends them, and I highly recommend their care, especially if you have rare illness, or surgery needed. They will take very good care of your pet

pet groomer

Would highly recommend AESC to anyone. I took my sick dog Dixie there several years ago and was treated great. She had a rare disorder and they diagnosed her and suggested the proper care. She lived for several more years only to the kindness and knowledge that the dr.s have there. Dr. Marshing and vet tech Forest were so helpful. They really seemed concerned with Dixie's well being and always called me to check up on her. My other dog Duke has also been seen there. He tore his ACL and they fixed it like new. The receptionist were always so friendly to me as well. They may cost a little more but you get what you pay for. Know for a fact other vets wouldn't have a clue what was wrong. Dixie has since passed but Duke still goes there as they also have allergy specialist with the latest technology. Would recommend there services to anyone as I do daily being a pet groomer I see alot of pets and only want the best care for my pets as well as my customers.

Preofessional care

Our dog Oscar has been a patient at this clinic for about 3 years. We had to go there fairly often and never had a single visit when we were not fully satisfied. The staff, especially Dr. Marsh and her assistant, Forest, were always professional, caring and very conscientious. We would enthusiastically recommend them to anybody.

Used To Be A Great Place, Things Have Changed

I have taken my personal and rescue dogs to them for the past 5 years. The care of the animal used to come first. When I arrived with a sick rescue I was given an estimate range and was asked to leave a deposit. I left the house in such a hurry that I forgot my wallet. I had to get money first, then take care of the animal. That "deposit" was not $50 or $100 it was the entire cost of the estimate. I was told that in order to get a rescue discount that I had to have legal proof. Rescue people do not carry around a license just business cards and rescue brochures. I do not appreciate being treated like a criminal and automatically assuming I am going to not pay my bills. Hospital owners: Rescue people do a very difficult and tiresome job, we would not be able to take care of the medical needs of these animals if we went around stiffing all the doctors and hospitals. Clearly, money comes first now at this hospital and I have never encountered this anyplace. It is truly sad wha

Izzy

My neighbor raced me and my baby Chihuahua to AESC on Sunday, because she was suffocating on a piece of chicken. I was totally panicked and the staff and docs were fast acting. They gave us a private room since I was in such a mess. I wish they could have saved her, but I feel they did their best. I am grateful that nobody made me feel like I had to suck it up or to be anything other than I was...just devastated. The doc was especially kind. I never knew such a tiny little doggie could have captured my heart so quickly or completely...the folks at AESC seemed to understand that and honored it. By doing so, they gave dignity to my baby Izzy's short life.

The worst

We took our sick cat to this Hospital as she was experiencing seizures and our regular vet was out of the office. This office will treat your animal as a an oppurtuniy to make money and not treat your animal as a member of your family. After $6k of tests, more tests and 100's of phone calls never returned we still have a sick cat. The people working at the front desk are not professiaonl, do not follow through and trying to get to speak with the vet (Dr Berg)after your animal leaves the office is impossible. If this office was dealing with Humans they would never be allowed to stay in practice.

Caring and professional

The cardiologist that works out of this clinic from time to time is amazing. My cat, who was afraid of everyone, just loved her. ######When we had to take our kitty here for emergecy care, the staff was fast acting and attentive. When we had to finally put him down, they answered all of our questions and were very patient and caring. They let me sit with him until I was ready to let go.

Go Here in an Emergency!

We had to bring our suddenly sick doggy to the Center. A tough situation required euthanasia and the Dr. was so kind and supportive of our feelings. They gave us extended personal time as a family to say good-bye to our member. The paw print, lock of fur and follow up sympathy note really validated the loss we experienced. Definitely would do business there again- hopefully under better circumstances!
