Dr. Anissi has been practicing dentistry in the Rochester, NY, area for nearly 20 years. Dr. Anissi lives in Fairport with her husband and three boys and she speaks many languages. Dr. Anissi has completed nearly 1,000 hours of advanced training in orthodontics from the American Orthodontic Society (AOS)—a comprehensive professional development program in orthodontics that enables her to provide quality long-term orthodontic care to her patients. AOS is the largest educational association in the world serving general and pediatric dentists who practice Orthodontics. She has been a member of AOS for more than 12 years and currently serves on the board directors where she is one of only a few female members. Dr. Anissi was awarded diplomate status by the AOS in 2008 — the highest credentialing available from the organization. Dr. Anissi has participated in continuous orthodontic education, mentoring and credentialing programs and has been recognized by colleagues worldwide for her efforts.
