Provided by YP.comI chatted online with Caitlin about what I wanted this past week. Showed up on Saturday and was greeted, shown around picked out what I wanted. I was never hassled during the trade in process. Explained where I needed to be on my bottom line figure to the General Manager. I want you to know I am very pleased and I know I will be happy in my new SUV. Thank you for everything.

Provided by YP.comMike Ward may have been new to Stingray but not to customer relationships. I came in the first week of may looking to trade a 2011 Mazda. I new that I owed more than it was worth and we were unable to make a deal that day. Mike new that I was a serious buyer and stayed in contact with me over the next few weeks until he found the right truck to make things work for everyone. The day that we made the deal happen I was under a timeline, well the entire staff keep me in my available timeline. Thanks Stingray for my new Silverado

Provided by YP.comFYI STINGRAY…….IT DOESN’T COUNT IF YOU JUST “LOOK” LIKE YOU ARE TRYING TO DO THE RIGHT THING, WITHOUT “ACTUALLY” DOING THE RIGHT THING!!!!
Update : We were contacted by Brian, used car manager, after my previous review. We were thrilled when he said he wanted to repair the problems with the van. After 2 wks in service it was ready for pick up. However, the locks were still rapidly locking & unlocking for no apparent reason when we took it out of park and at times while driving. We called to let them know that it had not been resolved. We were told to bring it in. After another 2 wks we had our van back. Still the problem persisted. In total our vehicle was in the shop for a month & this time we asked if they would considered buying it back or letting us trade it in. He said at this point that is what they would have to do.
I explained that we did not want to spend any more money. I was assured we would be taken care of and again worked with the salesman we had previously who explained to me that their mark-up on the vehicle we decided on would be taken off. When the salesman called the next business day we were told we would need to come up with an additional $5000 because they decided to NOT take the mark up off after all. I was upset that we had been misled and that I had wasted so much time being shown vehicles they knew we would not have considered otherwise at the suggestion of the salesman. We were told that they would be buying back our vehicle at the price we had paid for it and the new deal should be no problem for us because we can ”just extend the repayment of our loan” (Ignoring completely that I had said several times that we did not want a bigger loan). I pointed out that I had told them from the start that we had no intentions of paying more. Brian called us back and after a lengthy discussion he said that we should just be happy that they fixed most of the stuff, what couldn’t be fixed was not their problem it was the manufacturers and for us to pretty much suck it up (suck it up are my words, not his) but if we wanted something we felt was safe & had confidence in we would have to pay more to chose something from them or if we wanted to go elsewhere they would only give us cash value for the defective vehicle they sold us, not what we paid for it.
The salesman told me about a car they had just taken in, same make/model as the one we had chosen, but a couple of thousand less. After discussion with my husband we went in to look at it and told the salesman that we would go ahead and spend that little bit extra, to work up the final number as we were getting the financing through our bank. He went inside and returned to tell is that the asking price had just gone up another $1000 from what we had been told earlier. We left.
After two days of looking from their used car inventory online we called about yet another vehicle we were interested in. Not anything that we had originally wanted, but safe, working properly and a price we were willing to pay. My husband again spoke to the salesman to get a final number so we could go to the bank this afternoon and suddenly we are not being given the price we paid for the van for trade in.
I am now questioning whether they ever had any intention of allowing us to trade back this defective vehicle or whether they thought as long as they could get us back in there they would be able to sucker us into fattening up their pockets just a little more.
We feel like we have been lied to, misled and jerked around for the last 5 days!
