Provided by YP.comIt has been over 3 years since I became a client and most appreciative customer of Pride Air Conditioning & Appliance, Inc. This is our first year spending a significant amount of time in our condo, becoming true "snowbirds" We have a little over a month to go and will be closing up our condo until next years winter season. Once of the things I was hoping for this years was a trouble free stay without needing your services for any repairs. Of course knowing we have a contract with you does bring peace of mind. As luck would have it, yesterday afternoon we had a water leak under our kitchen sink. I called your office for service and was given an appointment time between 2 & 6 this afternoon and we are grateful that you could send tech to our condo on a Saturday within 24 hours of our call, what I would call an excellent response time. I received a call from your office this morning saying a tech was available and could come over immediately. Your tech arrived within 15 minutes of the call, examined the problem, went to his truck to obtain a replacement rubber hose coupling and completed the repairs in a very professional and timely manner! We could not ask for more! Once again we say THANK YOU to your entire staff for repairing our water problem and reaffirming how happy we are being part of your PRIDE family. Please feel free to use this letter as our testimony and recommendation of Pride Air Conditioning & Appliance, Inc. For anyone who questions your capabilities.

Provided by YP.comI would like to commend Pride Appliance for a service call well handled. I called with a serious problem with my refrigerator. A freezer and fridge full of food, not working. Their service department promptly sent out a technician. He was the BEST. He promptly went to work and resolved the problem. I would like to thank their employees and company for a job well done.

I was originally scheduled for service late this afternoon, but I received a call from Paul early this AM asking if i would like service presently have 4 service contracts with Pride and from time to time I do consider making a change to another company but, Gordon reinforced my decision to stay with Price in that he was most efficient. He pinpointed the problem immediately and corrected the problem in a most professional and pleasant manner. Gordon is an asset to your organization and if only all your techs had his qualities, it would be a win-win situation for all. Thank you for sending Gordon this morning.

Provided by YP.comMy air broke down on a weekday evening at 5PM. One call to Pride and they sent a service tech the next afternoon. What a pleasure. He not only explained what the problem was, but showed me how to install the filters correctly and get the best quality from my unit. I have had Pride for about 11 years and as always "Thank you for your continued service"

Thank you for being instrumental and a team player for helping me to send for the 2nd time Kevin (mechanic) who told me my 2005 AC unit is running just fine. On 9-28-13 I was told by ECM I needed a new AC unit and recommended a Rheem, Carrier, Lennox, Goodman. I said I would seek a second appraisal. I called Pride AC, in comes Kevin 10-10-13 fixing my unit for $479.95 and suggests to replace rusted drain pan. Those were hard days for me, in comes Dennis 10-16-13. New drain pan $300 Today I am very thankful to be allowed to have a new contract with Pride AC inc. Lady Debbie, please thank the girls for taking my stress calls. Along with Jay who helped me to sign a new Pride Contract during this period of time.

The service technician was pleasant, KNEW EXACTLY WHAT HE WAS DOING, and did it well. It is employees like HD who are an asset to your business and I felt you should know about it. I was told by ECM that my a/c was broken and out of freon. They refused to put freon in the a/c as they said the unit was completely empty. I gave them a deposit, on a $3000 roof a/c. Suddenly the a/c started cooling so I called Pride, for a second opinion. I spoke to Mr. Howard and he not only sent an a/c man that same day... he didn't charge me a penny. The mechanic said the a/c was full of freon and working properly. I immediately called ECM to cancel, and report what had happened, but they never returned my phone call nor returned my check. Mr. Howard and Pride saved me $3000 and a big headache.

Provided by YP.comThese guys are fair. I had a new unit installed just over a year ago. I got a great price and a super installation. The A/C started leaking water. I called the office of Pride and told them my A/C is leaking and they said I was out of labor warranty by 3 weeks. I paused and the woman on the phone said lets just get this done at no charge it's only 3 weeks out of warranty. Awesome, finally someone willing to bend the rules!!

Provided by YP.comPride AC has the very worst unscrupulous business practices.
The very first time my AC was installed, it failed the city inspections, and they had to call back someone do it right. Since then, the AC has leaked twice - the first for which I had to pay a $60 charge, barely a year and a half after this brand new AC was first installed. It is now leaking again 6 months after the the first time they "fixed" the leak.
At the same time the second leak started, the AC also completely stopped working and they diagnosed that a part needed to be replaced, for which they charged me $325 (because I didn't have service contract with them, despite the fact that my AC has a 10 year parts warranty) - and refused address the leak, because they said that was a separate issue for which they'd need to charge me separately. So till date my AC is still leaking and not working properly because I won't be calling them ever again.
My experience with them has been horrible and I don't recommend anyone go through the same with this company. Very incompetent and unprofessional.
