I'm currently an ST evening student in my 6th module at Eastwick College(Ramsey). The program director (for ST) is extremely nice, fair, and truthful to ALL her students. I don't know how there can be such negative comments about the school because I've had only 1 little problem (which was resolved after I had complained) and I've been there for over 1 year already. THE SCHOOL IS ACCREDITED BY CAAHEP (proof is on the OFFICIAL CAAHEP website). Sometimes, you'll see students who have already graduated visiting the school with such a positive attitude about how much they love their new jobs. I'll have to be honest - there are MANY students I've seen who are immature and blame the teachers when they don't do good, but hey - it's your fault if you don't work hard. As for financial aid - of course, they will hunt you down if you don't pay by the time it's due (again - that's your fault).

EASTWICK COLLEGE IS ONLY ABOUT GETTING YOUR MONEY! EVERY SINGLE DEPARTMENT, INCLUDING THE DEAN, TELL YOU LIES TO GET YOU IN, BUT THEN CHANGE THEIR STORY ONCE THEY RECEIVE YOUR MONEY. THEY STATED THAT THEY WERE ACCREDITED BY THE CAAHEP, BUT AS I JUST FOUND OUT, THEY LIED. THEY ARE NOT ACCREDITED AT ALL. THE TEACHERS ALL CLAIM THAT THEY ARE LICENSED TEACHERS AND HAVE THEIR PHD'S, BUT MAJORITY DON'T. SP PRETTY MUCH A CHIROPRACTOR OR A MEDICAL ASSISTANT WILL BE TEACHING YOU HOW TO SCAN THE HEART. THE LAB TEACHERS HAVE ALL FAILED THEIR ARDMS AND CCI EXAMS. PLUS IF THEY PROGRAM DIRECTOR DOESN'T LIKE YOU, YOU WON'T GET YOUR EXTERNSHIP. SHE CLAIMS YOU DON'T MEET THE EXTERNSHIP CRITERIA, BUT WITH AN AVERAGE OF 3.9 AS YOUR GPA, WHAT IS HER ISSUE? I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL TO ANYONE!

Good School to get a good education , so surprised to see negative comments !!! Some students dont apply themselves , too busy texting , leaving the classroom, talking , and just being ignorant. If people think they are falsifying records thats untrue..... you would never be able to apply for any certifications if a school did that ... I was able to find a job soon after I graduated and my employer (major hospital ) was very impressed by my resume and the courses I took at Eastwick. Currently working on my Bachelors degree and my credits were accepted from Eastwick also . Advice to students, worry about yourself and stay away from the negative students. Teachers , guidance, and all staff at Eastwick are terrific. Good luck to everyone.

Run away from this place, don't walk !! I can't believe the state hasn't caught onto them yet with their lies , deception & fraud. I granduated in 04-05. wasn't bad with ms husking & ms sarnaski & I did get a job but felt cluless on how much others knew than me. Employers like Care One, etc take one look at hohokus / eastwick on your resume & you get shown the door ! I recently went back for their new program to upgrade because there is no jobs for an LPN & their career center is a joke that don't find you any job placement for life HA ! Upond enrolling in 2010 it was worst than ever they still phonied paper work for financial aide to the state, earased test scores for whom they wanted to pass & fail, had no gudience councel, no one even listens to your gripes, had bomb scare & never evacutated classes. Teachers that don't know their bun hole from their elbows who are not qualified by law to be teaching, they charge you for room & board to the state when there is NO room & board there. Simply to put it, they need to close their doors, Everytime I hear in the news of someone giving an infant to much of a dose of medication we laugh & say must be Eastwick students, during a test cell phones go off, students going one by one to bathrooms looking up answers, financial aide coming in hunting you down like a BOUNTY HUNTER to pay during a test, that should throw you off !!! You can go if you want to for $42,000 but you have been warned !!!!!!

Some of the reviews on here seem really exxagerated, I went for the MA program at Eastwick and had a really good experience with my instructors and how they taught. They never rushed past things if we didn't understand it and they really seemed to be interested in making sure we knew the material. I guess it depends on how much you put into it, if you are determined to do good it'll be a good experience for you.

This school by far has been the worst mistake I have ever made! They ultrasound program requirements changed every module, the department itself was completely unorganized & a hot mess. My 3rd module there practically 3/4 of the students failed & a riot almost broke out. All they care about is $$$. They lie to you, make you wait for externship placement which you have to pay for to work for free! The financial aid stalker interrupts every class pulling students out for nonsense. This school is a disaster. I will not ever recommend this school to anyone. I have clearly voiced my opinion to many who were considering & they went on to reputable schools.

Like anything else, the school has some great qualities and some that are not so great. I have completed the LPN program and am currently in the RN program. My experience with the NURSING faculty has been excellent. The instructors in nursing curriculum are knowlegable and are excellect resource in guiding you in achieving success in the program. There are some things that I think the school needs some improvement such as the ability to choose other options when it comes to your schedule, get rid of that guy in financial aid (he is the absolute worst), stop padding the curriculum with meaningless courses and provide EXACTLY what we need, and stop promising lifetime job placement because i dont know anyone in my graduating class that found a job through the school. Career Services need to work harder. Tuition is to expensive not to provide the services promised on admission. They should focus less on making fast money and more satisfaction of their students.

The Professors treat you like a child not an adult. Medical Terminology professor treats you like a child telling you what you should do and not do. The financial aid guy harasses you until your dead, the bathrooms stink as much as this school does and good luck parking. And don't expect them to tell you when or where you can pick up your schedule cause they don't. One more thing, don't expect to make your own schedule, they will cram you with 7 classes for 12 weeks.

I love Eastwick, the instructors are great (especially Lisa!) you feel like they are actually interested in your work and making sure you do well. If you work hard, you'll learn a lot!

I'm surprised to see the negative comments below! It wasn't all easy, but I got a good externship (one thing too I seemed to know more than a lot the other externs ) and when I needed help along the way Jean Marie and Lisa were great, giving me tips on how to do well in interviews. I was hired on at the hospital pretty low but now I'm making over $40 an hour! I think the most important thing to remember is that it takes hard work, you have to be motivated to do well and really push to succeed.

I totally agree. Job placement? HA! I am so upset I spent nearly 30 grand and they just keep telling me to update my resume. Add what? Nothing has changed, Eastwick College- HoHoHoKus School has never sent me on a single interview. I graduated last year.

I am totally embarrassed, I really had high hopes and all I did was spend my money. I wish I even did a different field seeing as I can't find a job. I feel like I got scammed.

When I have brought this up all I hear is to change my resume- how small should my font be to add all of this crap? Every single time I ask them for help- my resume is the problem?

All these extra fees for reviews, all rip offs. It is the biggest money making scam ever.

I really thought that the people I paid serious money to would really help place me in a good job. That was the deal. Never happened.

What am I supposed to goback to school before I even earned a dollar off my "education"?

Echo tech still looking for work. They still have jobs. I paid them, I still don't. I send my resume out at least 12 times a day. Sad. Wonder how many years it will take me to pay off my loan.

I graduated the first class for LPN's back in 2004. I will be attending the LPN/RN Bridge in August. So if the teacher were so bad as the person previosly stated would I being comming back? I first went to this school for Medical Assisiting in 1995. So I am going back a third time. Why? becasue the school is a good one, the teachers really really care. If you work at her studies and I mean work they will help you. Don't get me wrong its hard but like anything else if you want something bad enough you have to work at it. I am truly gratefull for Eastwick Teachers. Thanks

this school has to be run be the most retarded ignorant people ever. the administration can NEVER tell real factual helpful information. they lollygag and dance around important questions you might have. they are not in tune with the job market, are complete liars when it comes to their "100% job placement" statement, and can't even agree on class times! for one of my classes last semester the assistant dean, who is quite rude by the way, gave me one schedule and my own teacher gave me another one for the same class that i was presently taking! it took about 3 weeks to get this straightened out however i was quite worried about being misinformed and missing vital class time and not passing the course because these bafoons gave me wrong information. also, don't expect the school to notify you by email OR give you a correct answer when you call up asking "it's a blizzard outside, is class still on?". they'll misinform you on that too so to all students considering this school, think twice! their so called "state certified test" - the NCIS - for billing and coding students isn't even recognized at any local hospital so what's the point of even wasting your time? basically, keep you guard up and don't trust any of these scam artists. they're a bunch of liars. i'm glad i'm out of there and have moved on with my life

I would of not taken the time at to do this but it's so aggravating that this school makes you believe that you will find a job with no problem.. I graduated 2005 with loans and still have not been hired the teacher are liars DO NOT BELIEVE THEM no matter what they say,they were very, very, rude on helping you if you needed extra help. I have been on job interview but they did not want to hire anyone coming out of this school including hackensack medical, Valley, Englewood and small offices. This school does not help you or prepare you to take the registration for Ultrasound complete waste of time and money.
