I exaggerate, clearly, but I call Whipple the rapist plumbers. Two large men arrive to give one small woman an estimate on a tankless hot water system. One of the men yanks off the cover of the present hot water heater, leaving it hanging around the bottom of the tank like a hastily removed woman's dress. For some reason there's suddenly water on the floor when the two whipples depart. And--imagine--for the first time ever, there's no hot water in the shower the morning after whipples's visit.Their estimate for a tankless system? $7068.95. $3,990.00 for the tankless unit itself. Try as I might I can't find a tankless unit listed for more than $2,000.00. Do not bother calling Whipple unless you want to feel great anger. And risk the workings of your present system. I have tree roots that grow in my front line and eventually block my main line. About once every year (maybe two if I'm lcky) I need to have my main line snaked. So i get a coupon in the mail for whipple to snake any line, including main line for $99 dollars. We call them up because my drain is slowing up, letting me know it's getting to be that time again. We inform them of the coupon and set a date for them to come snake the main line. My wife is home when the plumber comes by (I could not get off work for this) and tells her it's going to be $280 to snake the main line. She called me in tears because that was 3 times what she was expecting. After some haggling he came down to $180 and was noticeably upset with my wife. He snakes "100 feet" and says we need more expensive fixes. Except my main line is only 75 feet so I know he's lying from the start. Not only that now my drain doesn't work at all. So he actually made it worse and still charged us, for literally making it worse!

I had Whipple come out to find and fix a leak. After telling me about all the other things in my house that had to be replaced and brought up to code I had to remind them that I had a leak that I needed fixed and that is why I called them. They made the necessary updates and "fixed" the leak. I found out after they left that the leak was not fixed. I had to go through Thanksgiving without water because the leak was not fixed and they couldn't send anyone out to actually fix it. They came back two more times to find and fix the leak. Both times they assured me that they had fixed my problem. Both times they were wrong. Following the third attempt to find and fix the leak when I called back to tell them I still had the same problem I was informed they would come back in 2 days to work on it again. I told the dispatcher I would like to speak with a manager and I was able to leave a message for one. I'm still waiting to hear back from them. I finally had to find the leak and fix it myself.

Almost all of the good reviews were written by a whipple employee. The way you know is they are all close by date and the message is very short and broad. Believe me I used to work there and wrote a couple.

Chad kept us informed as what is going on. I felt he went the extra mile.

The original service to clean out a backed up sewer line was not handled well by the Company. However, once the technician arrived the next day, he worked well to try to alleviate the problem. The next day the technician, an assistant, and two supervisors came to solve the issues.

Chad was a very professional and did us a great job. We will continue to come back to Whipple as your employees are very truthful and do a great job.

Oz was very professional and knowledgeable in his work. He helped to understand my AC unit and and was very knowledgeable in his work.

Scott is a friendly and knowledgeable technician. He explained hat he would be doing and what he is looking for to service. He certainly is a plus to the Whipple Company. I will recommend your company to my friends and consider his recommendation to me regarding a new furnace.

In April of 2009 we purchased a new furnace and air conditioner from Whipple Heating and Air "Service Champions" (their words not mine). We paid them $12,000 and they assured that we would get the best service and equipment possible and guaranteed our satisfaction. We started having problems with the air conditioner immediately after it was installed.



We called them and told them the problem. They have come out 6 or 7 times and every time they claimed that it was fixed. We have been told several things that were wrong each time it is something different. Not one of their technicians seem to really understand what is wrong or how to fix it. They come late or not at all. When you call they explain how sorry they are and apologize and again guarantee that the problem will be fixed.



When they sold us the furnace and air conditioner they told us that if we were every not completely satisfied we could talk directly to the owner Kent Whipple and he would personally take care of us. We have asked to speak to him several times and the response we get is "of course we can not give out his number, but we will get him the message." Of course we have never heard from him.



We picked his company because on his radio commercials he sounds like a trust worthy and honest person and I believed that he and his company would do what they say they would. I was very disappointed and in the hole $12,000 because they are not true to their word.

They arrived when they said they would with no trouble once the tech was on site. He got us taken care of and cleaned up quickly. We haven't had any problems since.

Derek has been working on the plumbing in our home & has been doing a magnificent job! We haven't had any trouble in getting the issue resolved (aside from dealing with the insurance company). Whipple has been doing an amazingly good job

We just recently had a whole repiping done on our home and Whipple has been awesome about getting the work completed while making sure we are still comfortable at home. The tech's are really nice & they inform us of everything they're doing before they start on something new.

We were truly given great service from Whipple. The technician didn't disappoint when he arrived. He rolled out a red carpet, had his booties on and didn't hesitate to get right to work. He also double checked everything with us to get our authorization on everything. We couldn't have expected anything better.

THE GUYS WERE GREAT THAT CAME TO OUR HOME. THEY WERE SO CLEAN & EXPLAINED EVERYTHING THAT THEY'D BE DOING BEFORE THEY GOT TO WORK

We have used Whipple in the past for a couple of services, but we just had a new furnace and AC installed by them on Saturday 6/12. We couldn't have been more pleased with the Sales Rep who was out to our home and also with the installers who put the system in. The installers Ryan & Javier were GREAT! They were quick & tidy.

Whipple has been excellent to work with. They made sure they took care of everything and they worked very quickly. We have used them in the past for some minor services & have always been impressed with the technicians and the office staff
