I had a bad experience with an employee and called to speak with the manager/owner who then told me that salesman no longer worked there. He then invited me back and gave me a great deal to make up for the old employee. I will be back.

Great prices on primers and powder.

Nagel's is alright. It's sort of old fashioned, which I like. The customer service is usually decent. Price fairness varies by product. Overall, I do enjoy going in there quite a bit. And the poster who claims that they ignore hispanics must have missed the two or more hispanic employees that work there. The skinny white guy with the long hair, as he called him, is somewhat aloof but he's like that with everyone. Just because he's skinny and white doesn't mean that you weren't treated like everyone else in a busy store. I usually have to ask any of their employees for help, but then when it's my turn they're usually pretty good to deal with.

My friend bought a revolver today. Don the salesman treated us right. Thanks big guy, you really helped us in selecting the right pistol. Already shot a box of ammo through it. It's dead on at 25 yards and she loves it.

Many thanks to your staff... Matt has helped us a couple times. Don spent quite a bit of time with me last weekend. And today... Dennis (bless his patient little heart) spent loads of time with me and helped me pick out my new item! We left the store with several boxes... ;)

I guess I am what one would call an Avid Nagel's shopper. I am from Cotulla and I try to go to San Antonio at least twice a month. The best part of visiting San Antonio is going to Nagelss and dealing on pistols and guns. I am a retired educator and gun enthusiast. The customer service that I receive from Ron, Todd, Jessie and Dennis is great. I really appreciate their attentiveness and their salesmanship.

Staff is great, If one does not have an answer to your question another staff member does. Nagel's is THE best fun store in San Antonio, bar none
