Provided by YP.comConstruction on 281 and 1604 is awful so the worst part of my experience was getting there. Once I got there, the service was very good.

Provided by YP.comThe Service Department provided courteous and efficient service.
Gordon Blocker also assisted me promptly and courteously, as always.
The client waiting area provides a quiet, comfortable place.
I've not mentioned the cashiers previously in my survey comments; however, they always provide a pleasant final process for the service visit.

Provided by YP.comMost satisfactory. Service representative(Greg Phillips?) was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and informative. Same with the Toyota rental lady. Very nice rental car while the recall work on my Prius V was being done. We really like the location and the facility lay out. The collection or billing ladies were very efficient and pleasant. We enjoyed speaking to the owner, Don, when he does his walk through of the facility and visits with customers. Great popcorn, donuts, fresh fruit, and excellent coffee. Friendly and helpful van driver. Clean bathrooms. I have considered just coming by and staying and visiting because I enjoy Alamo Toyota so much. It is more than just another automotive dealership for me. Thank you for all the efforts made every day.

Provided by YP.comJeremy Sims: quickest response from San Antonio dealer representative regarding helping me order a vehicle; successfully ordered the vehicle configuration I wanted; efficient price negotiation
Joel: A+ customer service before and after sale
Registration - registering my vehicle in my official state of residence (Florida) was very frustrating requiring multiple trips to the dealership wasting my time and gas; Don Haynes got process back on track
Finance - typing crossing a line on the first contract required a trip back to the dealership to sign new contract

Provided by YP.comNot a word.
I had over $2000 of front brake and suspension work done on my Tundra in the last 5 months. No mention was made of the fact that over 700,000 tundras had been recalled for front ball joint failure. While the mechanic was replacing front struts (March), the ball joint was four bolts from replacement at a cost of under $300. Not a Word. This problem is endemic with Toyota: Sequoia, 4runner, Tundra and Tacoma have had over 2 million recalled for front ball joints.
Sixty days later my front left wheel FALLS OFF at 70 miles per hour.
Don Hayes, General Manager, sees no reason to feel responsible.
I'll pay another $3000+ for their negligence.
STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP.

Provided by YP.comAlamo Toyota was fantastic. The whole experience was great. They took the time to make sure I understood everything from the contract to how the bluetooth worked in my new Corolla. They went as far as introducing me to the service department and even set up my first oil change. What impressed me the most was while I was waiting to go into finance the General Manager came over and introduced himself and talked with me until it was time for me to go in. I definitely will buy from them again.

Provided by YP.comI've had a couple 4runners in a row now and the new style is just magnificent! I had been looking at them whenever i went in for service and decided this last time I was going to get one... I went through the amex website and then was bombarded with calls and emails haha... Alamo Toyota ended up having the 4Runner I prefered, so I went in and dealt with Joel Lopez. He had it up front waiting for me and the paperwork was ready, it was smooth as silk... I was there less than 2 hours. I have no complaints! I'll definately consider Alamo next time ..

Provided by YP.comI was the victim of a hit--and-run one month ago today, and my car was brought to Alamo toyota to be repaired.
They told me it was going to be done on wednesday the 28th. I got a call the previous morning from someone in the body shop telling me that it should be ready later that afternoon, they just had one last test drive to do, and they would give me a call. I was ecstatic! My car was going to be done early!
...Nope.
I not only didn't receive a call later that day, but the next day as well, i didn't receive a phone call. It got to be 5 o'clock on the day when they said my car would be ready, and i hadn't heard a word about my car. So i decided to call them. They told me that they had found something else wrong with it during the test drive, so it should be ready the next morning (the 29th). Okay, whatever, these things take time.
The next day, not a word did i hear from them. No phone call, nothing.
So i called them again that evening to try to find out what was happening with my car (a toyota!), and they couldn't tell me anything.
I called the ext day and got ahold of the GM of the body shop, Ramon, and he told me that it was going to be until the next tuesday (today) before my car was ready because they had to order a part and wait for it to come in, but they would make a priority of it because aside form this one part it was ready to go.
Well, here we are, Today is almost over, i just called them to find out when it will be ready, and again i was just told that "it should be done in the next 20-30 minutes and then i gotta take it for a test drive and then i'll give you a call."
We'll see.
By the way, the name of the guy that kept saying he'd give me a call is Steve. If you EVER have to go there to gt your car repaired, first of all i would recommend going somewhere else, but if you have no other choice, ask for somebody besides steve to be in charge of it.
