One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating sent out advertising flyers for discounted furnace servicing (about $80, don't recall the exact amount). We decided we should have our furnace serviced, so we scheduled an appointment. The service man showed up at the door with nothing in his hand but a rag (no tools whatsoever). He went to the furnace and wiped down a few places, then said we needed a new furnace and tried to sell us one. When we said we didn't want a new furnace, he wiped down a few more things with his rag and charged us $80 for servicing our furnace! When we pointed out that he didn't service anything and didn't even bring in any tools, he said he couldn't do anything because the furnace was old. He said he could reduce the "service" charge to about $50. We paid him so he would leave (we were so angry), but in hindsight, we shouldn't have paid him at all. One Hour has demonstrated to us that they clearly lack ethics and integrity in their business dealings. Bait & switch.
