Provided by YP.comDaniel, the salesman had told me over the phone that he could get me the price discussed. After driving an hour in a half the salesman Daniel had said that he didn’t okay it with the manager first (okay news to me as we already had the price set in stone before I even left my home in San Diego). This of course did not go over to well for me as I had just drove an hour in a half to get what was discussed. Then he said that if I financed with them he could give me what we discussed. I said I have my own financing and he said the manager said he could only knock off 250 dollars. I said well then the deal is off then....then he said he would give the car at the agreed price as discussed, but why give customers grief??? I’m so sorry I stepped foot in this dealership.
Then you go into signing--the financial manager also seemed to have a bad attitude--probably because I had my own financing.
Then we go to leave with our newer car. He (Daniel) handed one key to my husband and said he would mail the other one....hummm okay we called for the other key then he said there isn't one--which will cost probably 500 or so for a spare. He then laughed and said "well you got a thousand off the car so use that" and hung up on me.
Then we called the sales manager Damion....he proceeded to say that he didn't care that the salesman lied to us about the extra key and we won’t be getting one. Then he called me names (horrible bad words) and said he didn't care about a bad review. So I hope you all go somewhere else. Please go somewhere you can trust...unfortunately for us we thought we could trust them as we just paid them a lot of money for a Porsche and I really can’t believe that they didn’t care about what review they would get from me as a customer. They lie and have no problem doing it and they simply don’t care.

Provided by YP.comMy husband and I were in search of a minivan. We noticed this dealership to have a dozen 2012 Nissan Quests in stock, in the middle of March of 2013 so we thought we might be able to get a good price on last years model. We were there on a Thursday and after test driving and deciding that although it was not a Honday Odyssey which was our first choice (too expensive) we would consider the Quest. We needed more time to decide and as we were leaving a Sales Manager by the name of Carlos said "We can give you a good price, for 25K or 26K." My husband and I only returned that same Saturday because we thought Carlos would honor the price he quoted us just two days prior. Not only would he not honor the lowest price he quoted (negotiating 101) but he tried giving us a 13.9% interest rate. They discuss monthly payments and after doing the math we would have paid over 48K for a 28K dollar vehicle which in my mind is just unethical! And that was even after we told them we had 10K down in cash. After almost three long hours of haggling which we understand is part of the car buying process, but what is NOT is being lied to and manupulated by false advertising and promising prices the salesperson can't deliver.
I am completley disatisfied with the way we were treated. Originally we spoke to Gus who was, up until Carlos got involved was fine. The entire experience left us frustrated and was a complete waste of time. We left and decided to buy a Honda and were treated with the professionalism, honesty and respect that we would expect from any establishment that would call themselves a respectable business entity.
My husband will need to replace his Toyota Prius which he drives for work and I can say without a doubt that when the time comes, we will NOT be buying his car at Hooman Nissan...or Hooman Toyota which we understand to be under the same ownership. Carlos is a snake and a liar and we would never do business with any company who would employ such dishonest, manipulative people.
And as a side note: When buying a car NEVER tell them how much you want to pay monthly. Figure out what you want to pay for the TOTAL amount of the vehicle and understand what the final cost after the last payment is made, what you are going to pay for the car you are buying. They may discount the sticker price of the car (which they should do anyway) but depending on the interest rate you may end up paying an outrageous amount when its all said and done.
We ended up going to Norman Reeves Honda in Cerritos and got a GREAT deal interest and all for a slightly used Honda Odyssey and were treated the way you are suppose to be treated when you are spending tens of thousands of dollars of your hard earned money.
