We are very disappointed to hear that Mr. Thad (Carolyn C) is dissatisfied with the repair work done on his 93 ES300 at Affordable Auto Repair. It is our desire to ensure that we give our customers the best quality possible, whether they spend $10 or $5000. If we miss that mark, we remain committed to the customer. WE WILL NEVER NEVER SCAM ANY CUSTOMER. We apologize to Mr. Thad (Carolyn C.) and have made a phone call (4/21/15 at 2:54PM) to see what current problems he has with his ES300. Our last conversation with Mr. Thad was when he drove the car away. Reading his review is our first time hearing these statements. We will continue to make several attempts to reach him and resolve whatever issues remain about his car. All of our work and parts are warrantied, and if any issues arise with the repairs we will cover it under the warranty. I (Perry, owner) will be transparent and post the results of our attempts and what we have done to resolve the issues once we know what they are. When a customer pays us to repair their vehicle, we want to ensure that we give them good quality service and resolve the problem. I am sorry that we did not achieve that from Mr. Thad’s perspective, and I want to hear what the issues are and resolving them. We have 100s of very satisfied customers and I value all of their feedback. The positive customer reviews we have are real, NOT FAKE, just as this review is real. I am very grateful when any customer takes time out of their day to share their experience. Happy customers are often less inclined to post reviews (Angus Loten, THE WALL STREET JOURNAL); therefore, we will ask other customers to share their experiences as well. Contact us as soon as possible, because we have neither record nor memory of any type of complaint or repairs with any person name Shanice J. We are committed to resolving any issues that arises from any work we have done, so help us to achieve that goal by contacting us as soon as possible. When we suggest a tune-up verses replacing the engine, it is meant to solve the problem and prevent the customer from paying for unneeded repairs. It is a cost savings to the customer of approximately $2000, and a loss of revenue for us. A con artists would attempt to take as much as possible, not to save the customer as much as possible. Our goal is to diagnose and repair only what is needed. If we charged the customer for repairs that did not work, and the check engine came back on 3 months later, I (Perry) ask that this customer please contact us immediately. Our tune ups average about $300, and we cannot find any invoices charging any customer $1100 for a tune up, and we cannot find any customer named Shanice J. This complaint states that there were not any reviews when they had their repairs done. The oldest review is dated 5/18/14; therefore, the repairs were done about a year ago and the complaint was just written 12 days ago.
