As one of several contractors my wife and I looked at to bid on our roof replacement, Gary Sparks was very professional from the first visit. He thoroughly explained work that needed to be done as was fair in in quoting additional labor due to entire roof needing to be replaced. What really sold us was the fact that he had a crew come out on a holiday weekend to tarp our roof to prevent further damage at no charge.

This company did a great job on our roofs. We had three roofs to upgrade after living in our home for 16 years. Dave came in with a honest and low quote right from the start.. I would like to thank Dave for showing us the options, potential issues that might arise, potential changes the cost, and being there to explain what they found and the remedy. We covered the cost, what the potential cost could be if boards needed replaced and that way when we did find issues there were not surprises. Dave personally came to the site several times to make sure everything was correct. We reroofed the house to sell it and Dave even met with the new home owners to show then all the work that was done to GAF certify the roof for 20 years. We had three quotes from well-known companies and none of them mentioned the potential issues, and one was double the cost in there estimate. The company that quoted double the cost offered to match Achten’s bid after they heard they lost and that is just shady business. We are very impressed with the Achten’s roofing team and would suggested this to anyone.

I received 4 different quotes and Achten's Quality Roofing was the lowest quote, it was fair and reasonable. I was referred by my next door neighbor who's a general contractor and later found out that 2 other homes in my neighborhood also had their roofs replaced by them. Thank You for the flexibility, service, and quick turn around you've provided me.

We just had to use Achten's as our house sale was pending but we needed to replace the roof for the sale to close. Gary Sparks took great care of us as we uncovered a lot of age-related decay to the existing roof. His crew worked tirelessly for two days and did a fantastic job. The new owners now have a great roof that will last for years.

We got quotes from several local roofing companies. Achten's was chosen based on our Salesman Gary and internet reviews. Gary kept us up to date on the job timing and details. The roof was done in 2 days. At the end of day one the workers covered the roof with tarps, just in case it rained. The finished roof looks great, we received more than other companies had to offer, like GAF shingles, W valleys and flashing all around the edges. All that, plus a 20 year transferable warranty and a 50 year guarantee. Our roof was 28 years old and we did have to have some sheeting replaced. Our roof has a total of 74 sheets and 24 sheets got replaced. The cost was manageable and the workers were polite and tidy.

This company did a great job on our roof. We had the whole roofing system put on and it looks great. All the neighbors are quite impressed; a few watch the workers and commented that we really got our money's worth. Friendly Quality Service! They really seemed to care about the house.

Dave and company did a excellent job in two days, replaced the singles , the boards underneath and fixed the sky lighting. It looks great

These guys definitely know how to replace a roof and fast. They had a team over and were in and out within two days. I thought it might take much longer since they discovered half my sheathing was severely moldy and rotten, but they took care of everything quickly. The new roof looks beautiful and the sky-lights they put in have brought much more light into the house. The estimates were on par with the other guys, in some cases less. The only issues I had was the language barrier with the crew and a small covering over my patio they forgot to re-roof. A couple of times we needed to discuss the extra charges from all the new sheathing and it was a bit difficult. The estimator was able to help though. The estimator also came back and personally re-roofed the small overhang to complete the job.

I had a fantastic experience with Achten's Quality Roofing. I received quotes from several vendors and based on the consultation and price I decided to move forward with Achten's. The salesperson was very informative and helpful. The roofing workers were efficient and accommodating. They cleaned up well and were easy to work with.

I was very pleased with Achten's roofing. Their sales rep/estimator was very knowledgeable and up-front about our project and really helped make the process as pain free as possible. The crew that did the actual work was great and intruded as little as possible into our daily lives. All in all it was a great roofing experience.

Not only did these folks come in with a truly competitive bid, but they worked with me to accommodate my work schedule and got the job done in less time than expected. They provided me with a ton of materials and references. After the job was done they checked back immediately and then again after a week or two to be sure that everything was right. Achten's seems to truly care whether their customers are satisfied, and aren't like the previous company who just wanted the job done without regard to doing it properly.

From the first contact with salesperson Darin Howard until the finished full re-roofing project, I was impressed with the quality and professionalism displayed by the Achten's Roofing employees. Unlike several others that bid on the job, they have their act together. Quality work and a thorough clean up job in just three days.

I had a good experience with Achten's. Their price was reasonable and the crew was efficient and courteous. They cleaned up at end of each day. Salesperson kept in touch and called right back when i had questions. He even stopped by twice to check progress.

Knowing that our roof was in need of replacing, We began the process of obtaining bids and learning what was involved with replacing a roof properly. Achten's was not our first bid nor our last one. Total, we had 5 different bids. Our final decision to go with Achten's was based on the honesty of the information that Dave (Achten's representative) provided to us regarding requirements to do the job correctly. Several roofers insisted that we were required to use a ridge vent when in reality, it was not possible to install correctly on our manufactured home. Another roofer recommended the wrong type of shingles for our manufactured home which would have nullified the warranty. As we went through the process of learning and obtaining bids, more questions were generated, and Dave made himself available to help us understand facts versus fiction.

The work crew proved themselves to be extremely knowledgeable and professional. As they were doing the work and identified dry rot and damaged decking, they were speedy to bring these items to my attention. At that time, I, personally, went up on the roof to inspect their quality work as well as the age damage to the roof. Overall, the quality of the job exceeded our expectations. Excellent job of the crew for clean up and removal of debris. The roof looks GREAT!!!!

It was time to get our old roof replaced and after getting several bids we went with Achten's. We have been happy with our choice. They were professional from start to finish. We lost a few shingles in a wind storm a couple weeks before our roof was replaced and they even came and repaired it for us for free! We highly recommend them to those looking for a new roof done quickly with quality products and professional workers.

I have used Achten's for repairs and new installations many times, each time was a great experience. Great salesmen, installers and warranties too.

It was time for a new roof! After receiving a few bids from other roofing companies my husband decided to call Achten's. Gary was the representative that came out to give us our bid, which was by far the lowest bid we had received. Gary went over every detail thoroughly and made sure that we understood all the information he was giving us. Gary was very polite and respectful, not pushy at all! Because of Gary's professionalism and great price we decided to go with Achten"s and boy are we happy. The roofing crew that replaced our roof were very nice and very fast. We are very happy with our new roof and the great service we received.

I decided my roof was due for replacement and I decided I wanted to replace the comp roof with metal. My wife and I decided on the red slate-looking metal tiles. More expensive than comp, but you only do it once and you're done for life. As usual I got a few quotes, 4 to be exact. Achten's estimator Gary came out and was extremely pleasant to work with. On-time, knowledgeable, thorough (he actually spent about half an hour on the roof!) and pleasant to boot.

Of the 4 quotes, Achten's was the second lowest but Gary was the ONLY one who volunteered a list of references, along with type of roofing that was done. It was so comprehensive, it looked like it consisted of ALL their jobs over the last few years, a few hundred! One of the companies flat-out refused to give any references (gave me a BS story about it not being legal anymore due to privacy laws),one of the others gave me a "list" of THREE and the other never got back to me. Needless to say that Achten all-in-all submitted the best bid.



My wife and I went out to look at another property where Achten had done the exact same type and color roof about 2 years ago. We talked with the home-owner who was still very happy with his choice of roof and choice of installer. He did mention something to look out for that was a bit of a problem with his install. We asked Gary about it and he acknowledged that the problem the other customer mentioned had been an issue, but that they made changes and it no longer would present a problem.

The Achten crew that came out consisted of 4 guys, all very pleasant and professional. Even brought their own honey bucket! They spent 2 days removing the old covering, checking for sheets that needed replacing (none did) and wrapping the roof in new plastic. It then took another 3 days to put the new roof back on. While we really liked the red metal roof on the house that we liked at, we LOVED it on our own house!

Even though we had some small issues with the clean-up (found some nails and other debris in the yard and on the driveway after they left), we can wholeheartedly recommend Achten Roofing. Anytime someone wants to come look at our red metal "slate" roof, they're welcome to!

Achter's did my reroof which was completed two weeks ago. Their bid was competitive and the work, clean-up and overall job was top cabin. The new roof, gutters and skylights really improve the street appeal (and value) of my house!

We recently had our roof done by Achten's, everyone was kind and easy to deal with. Minor paperwork issues that were taken care of quickly and without difficulty. Overall everything worked out just fine and our roof looks nice!
