The only reason why I decided to write about a company like this one is because they did a wonderful job. Great American Moving & Storage moved me a week ago and did an amazing job. From the moment I spoke to Brian and scheduled my appointment till when Alex unloaded my last piece of furniture everything went smoothly. They were on time, everything went smoothly with my building, my furniture, these guys were friendly and professional, and to top it off they were reasonably priced. Thank you again guys.

We had previously experienced such a bad moving experience that we tried very hard to do as much research as possible for our next move. After researching as much as we could, Great American changed our mind positively and immediately we contacted them



The office staff are very accommodating and helpful. I changed my move date 3 times, and it was never a problem. I also had to get Great American's insurance options for the expensive furniture. The guys on the crew were all business and worked efficiently. Nothing was damaged or lost. The price was reasonable and worth every penny.

The day after our move, the horror of unpacking over 100 boxes became apparent. As we whittled the pile down box by box over the weeks and then months, my wife realized that a few items were missing and somehow didn't make the move. These were things of low value but high sentimentality. I was loath to admit that we might have lost a few things that 'fell off the truck.' But my wife persisted and called Great American- 3 weeks we moved. Did they have these lost items?



Sure enough, they did! These items became separated from the original batch and, absent any identifying name,Grea American held the items in the hopes that the owner would one day call. When we finally did, they were incredibly apologetic and delivered the items to our door the next day.



Frankly, I didn't think there was a chance in hell we'd ever see those things again. There were photos in the box that my wife was heartbroken over losing. Thanks to Great American, we're all in one piece.



I wouldn't think of using anyone else if I ever have to move.

I requested a quote online and this company was one of the companies that called me offering me a free quote. The sales guy, Ben was very patient while taking my inventory he took the time to personalize each room with a specific name according to my needs. At first I was skeptical so I asked him to send me an estimate via email. Which he gladly did, everything was clearly outlines just has he had explained to me on the estimate email he sent me. After considering a few other companies along with his I choose Forward Van Lines, it was the best decision I could have done. The price did not change upon pickup and my furniture was delivered a few days after. Thanks to Ben for staying in touch with me through the process of my move everything went smoothly.

Great American were the best movers I've hired and well worth the price, especially since there reliable. I booked the move a week in advance, Arthur and Carlos showed up to help me move on my cross town move they called me about an hour early to start the move, so I had someone else let them in to get things done there was no problems. I moved from downtown Washington to California and the whole process from door to signing bill was five hours, four a large one bedroom with elevator on one end and stairs at the delivery. Carlos and Arthur were detailed took extra care not to scratch any wood flooring and crack jokes the whole time it made for an easy move which I appreciated it to No end.

This was my first time using a moving company out of all 5 times I have moved and it was definitely a good experience. Through the booking process, Great American Moving & Storage was very responsive, answering every single one of my e-mails and phone calls (I changed my moving date three times so there were several calls and e-mails). The guys showed up ten minutes earlier than expected and had my 3 bedroom house moved out and completely in a short time. They were very professional and worked the entire time without taking a break. Nothing was broken or lost in the move. The pricing was excellent as well. I got quotes from two other moving companies and Great American Moving & Storage was the cheapest. They only take cash so keep that in mind when booking. I would highly recommend using this company and will definitely use them again in the future.

I used Great American Moving for a long distance move I had about a month ago ( refrigerator, large desk, my whole house etc). Kyle and his guys did such a great job, very professional, on-time and fast since I was on a time limit. I had them come back again for me to do a larger move, long distance for my company and they did a great job again. I would highly recommend Great American Moving again. All around five star movers

Just used these guys for a medium sized move from WA to CA. They were amazing! When looking for moving companies, all I found were big companies that had call centers that were obviously trying to overcharge or small companies that wouldn't pick up the phone. These guys were just right: Very professional and had insurance but didn't have the large overhead big companies had so they didnt have the need to gouge me in pricing.



They busted their butts too, worked fast, took care with my large expensive items and didn't even take a break. Kyle was very professional and even came over the week before to check everything out. He was in charge during the move and made sure his guys were working fast and hard throughout the move.



They got there exactly on time and finished an hour early.



I very rarely leave reviews but would HIGHLY recommend these guys. Ive had terrible experiences before in moving and Ill never use another company again.

I really enjoyed my experience with Great American Movers.

They were wonderful throughout the whole process, extremely helpful and professional. They made it possible for me to travel to AZ with my 3 pets without no need to worry about nothing but getting down to my new home. They did a great job packing and unpacking.
