Provided by YP.comI got their info from a sticker left on my unit from the previous home owner. At first, I was reluctant to use them based on the previous reviews. I'm glad I took the chance. They were prompt, professional and very personable. In my experience, I understand that you can't make everybody happy. But for me and my family, we will continue to use Comfort Central.

Provided by YP.comIf I could give a 0 for a rating that would be for this company. They came out last year in May 17 to fix my AC was bad and unreliable. This year June of 18 was even worst. Dan never did call me back after I specified that I needed to speak with him only. Josh the Contractor lied on his first day to my house then again when he had to return after receiving the part. DO NOT use this company for your AC if at all Possible. They are liars and not upfront with all the important information that is needed. I don’t ever want anyone from this company to come out and I have also informed my WARRANTY COMPANY also which they have a complaint from me regarding this company.

The nature of the repair was a piece of plumbing on my pool exploded when I changed around valves to adjust pressure. It was likely my fault. I picked up the pieces of broken PVC and placed them in the fitting that they had originally been a part of. I thought of simply throwing them away, but then decided to hold on to them for the repair-man just incase they were somehow relevant.
Comfort Central was dispatched by my warranty company for the repair. The technician, despite both cars being in the driveway, did not contact me before looking at my equipment. He saw the pieces of PVC inside the fitting they had come originally been a part of and concluded that it had been “hit by a lawnmower or hammer or something”. He did not speak to me (even though I was in the house). He wrote up his report, took pictures and this was sent to my warranty company which then denied my claim based on the “damage having been done by a hammer or lawnmower rather than an explosion” as I’d claimed. When I called Comfort Central to complain, the supervisor agreed they had mishandled the situation and attempted to make it right with the warranty company. However, the damage had been done, and the warranty company was fixated on the words “hammer & lawnmower”, and the picture showing the broken PVC inside there original fitting – they concluded that since the broken pieces of pipe were inside the fitting, then an explosion could not have happened. Comfort Central’s mishandling of the situation led to my claim being denied. The warranty company indicated they would have approved it had it been an explosion from internal pressure build-up.
Comfort central agreed they had mishandled the situation, but would not make the situation right by eating any portion of the cost of the repair. I offered to pay them the deductible I’d have paid anyway, and negotiate on the rest of the costs. They would not budge.

Provided by YP.comDAY 7 OF NO AC, SUMMER 2015, TAMPA, FLORIDA. HERE IS MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY:
Tuesday, July 28th: In the morning, I called to report that my AC is not cooling the condo. They did not call me back today.
Wednesday, July 29th: They call me and give me only day/time to come fix it. That would be Friday morning, which is 4 days after reporting the issue. Keep in mind that we are in Florida and the month is July. I had a doctor’s appointment Friday morning and I let them know about when I have to leave home.
Thursday, July 30th: I call again to see if they can come a day earlier, because I can't sleep at 85 degree temperature upstairs. They said they can’t and they asked about the deductible from my landlady, since she has home warranty. I contact my landlady and she calls them to make sure that they get the deductible.
Friday, July 31st: The guy comes and tells me that external unit needed freeon. He tells me I can go to my doctor’s appointment, since he doesn’t have to go inside the condo. After my appointment, I get a call from them saying that he needs to go in the condo. I stay at the condo to let him in. He comes in, works on the internal unit, and tells me that it needs thorough cleaning. He says they need approval from my landlady and they already called her. She hasn’t got back to them. He leaves without fixing the AC. I call them to make sure they have the right number for my landlady and they don’t. I correct it and they still don’t call her. My landlady calls them to approve thorough cleaning. I never hear from them again to schedule thorough cleaning.
Saturday, Aug 1st: Online, it says that they are open on Saturdays. I call them and it goes to voicemail. My landlady calls them and leaves them another voicemail. She tells them in the voicemail that I am leaving Florida for 3 weeks on Monday and asks them whether they can do the thorough cleaning today. They never return the call.
Monday, Aug 3rd: I call them. A lady answers and puts me on hold. After 37 minutes, I gave up waiting for them to pick up the phone. I leave Florida with AC not fixed after 7 days.
