Great Atmosphere

Been going to Irongloves for about 3 years now, figured it was time to write something nice to give back to them.- Welcoming atmosphere.- All trainers are very nice, respectful, & helpful.- Very clean gym, very clean restrooms (even us guys appreciate this).- Owners are awesome.- No contracts, this is what originally lured me.- Best equipment. Joe doesn't skimp on price, he only buys the best quality.- Lots of selections for equipment; from boxing bags to exercise equipment.- Lots of nice members. But my favorite part is the atmosphere, the energy in the gym super highly motivating!!!

boxing group classes - love them!

I have been doing the group classes for 2 months & have lost 15 lbs. My arms look defined & my legs look really nice. I just wanted to say thanks to Joe. I have been to Jab Fitness, Jabz & LA Boxing classes (yes all 3 palces) & they don't even compare to Joe's. Every class is so different, fun, & super hard. He puts so much variety & thought into it.I love irongloves, everyone is super friendly! And the place (bathrooms) are very clean ;-)

Busted Me Out of My Fitness Plateau

I've been going to Iron Gloves for about four months now. I considered myself in fairly good shape before I started, having been an avid CrossFitter for almost 2 years, but my level of fitness had plateaued. Even though I felt fine, I stopped feeling challenged...until I started going to Iron Gloves.I was pleasantly surprised by how Kurt, my trainer, was able to push me past what I thought my capabilities were. Not only does Kurt throw something new at me every time I am there, but somehow amid the torture (and I mean that in a good way), I am having a blast! I've never thought of myself as an athletic person, and at first I was slightly intimidated going to a real boxing gym. However, everyone at Iron Gloves is incredibly nice, professional, challenges you to do work, and they make me feel welcome there! I have not lost weight, but I have toned every muscle on my body. I've been blaming my lack of abs on genetics for over two years...after 4 months of boxing, I am starting to see some definition! No more excuses! :) If you are looking for something new, whether you've boxed before, or never stepped foot into a boxing gym in your life, I highly recommend Iron Gloves. (And though you won't hear me tell my trainer Kurt to his face, he is also pretty amazing) :)

Hard workout EGADS!

My husband and I work out at Irongloves for approx 6 months now and love it. Super challenging, we've learned so much boxing. We both are very fit now and he has lost 40lbs. Thanks you so much for changing our lives!

Buddy Plan works great

My son and I have been doing the buddy plan since January. Kurt is a fabulous trainer and never makes us feel like the rookies we are. The workout is great even for old guys like me.

Boxing Classes ROCK

I've been doing Joe's boxing bootcamp on Mon & Wed for about 6 weeks now. I have lost 20lbs & have some good arm definition now! These classses are like PX90 & Insanity rolled into one but with BOXING added. And every week Joe changes them up, never the same thing ever! I am hooked. Thanks to Danny the trainer too, with his expertise diet plan he did for me.

Iron Gloves

Iron gloves is a great place to get into shape and everyone is very nice. I do the one on one training 3 times a week and feel accomplished after each workout. I would definitely refer this place to anyone looking for a good workout.

The Real Deal

I've been training at Iron Gloves for about a year now and love it! The trainers really know their stuff and will actually train you to fight not just punch a heavy bag. The one on one sessions with Tony are super intense. He'll push you to your limit, but somehow make it fun too! In summary, great facilities, great trainers, great atmosphere, great owners. Keep it up guys!

This is the place!

I am in my fourth year at Irongloves Boxing. I do One-on-one training with Tony twice a week plus 2 group classes per week. The owners Joe and Renene not only own the business, but are there working each day. Joe is a trainer both one-on-one and group. Renene's efforts running the administrative aspect of the business are apparent from the moment you walk in the door. She greets you with a smile, knows you by name, and makes sure you understand how everything works at the gym. Tony is both the gym manager and my trainer. Every workout is different, super hard, rewarding, and fun. Tony has been there since before I started. His Saturday classes are impossible. But that's good! I keep showing up, along with the others that attend. If you make it through the hour, you feel like you can accomplish anything! Tony is the real deal. I attend Joe's class on Monday. His class is also one of the most amazing, well rounded, complete workouts you can possibly get in 1 hour.

The gym is not for wimps

I've been going to the gym for about 6 months now and i have never worked as hard in my life as I do with my trainer Tony. The entire staff will push you to be the best. The gym is ran like no other business I've ever seen. The trainers are all current or former professional fighters that never allow you to coast or do things the wrong way. My trainer kills me daily but after a month you appreciate it. Great gym, great staff and great location. They have a lifetime member in me.

Great Boxing Training

I have been to several boxing clubs here in the valley, have to say the boxing training at irongloves is excellent. The owners care & work hard at providing the best service possible. It's a whole program they have you do. After my (nothing but boxing) lesson, there are 30-40 minutes of posts exercises you do. Feel free to contact me for a referal.

Best Trainers Bar-None

I have been with Irongloves for approx 6 1/2 years now, I have to say they always have excellent trainers. They (Joe) put a lot of pride in who works there. If you don't cut the mustard & train people like clients expect to be trained (& treated), you won't last long as a trainer at irongloves. I have even trained with a few different of their trainers (Ray & Tony) these last few years, they've all been very unique, I've learned a lot. I like the fact they offer variety & not just puppet (cookie cutter) training. Keep up the good work you guys, I'll be around for a long time! BTW, GREAT Forum, lots of information on it :)

Very pleased

My husband & I train at Irongloves. All the trainers are very helpful. We like the fact that even though we aren't in it to fight, we still learn real boxing. We learn punching technique, footwork, & all the bag drills. We both do the one on one (I'm with Dave, my husband is with Joe), I just also started doing Joe's group class, it is super hard & I love it.

100% Happy Camper

I have had many trainers in the past, I have to say not only is my trainer Tony Corona the best, but all the other trainers help me too. Everyone there is so friendly. The owners run it like a "ma & pop" shop, you feel like you really belong.I have learned so much since I have been there (for 8 months now). I train 3 x a week, & Tony keeps teaching me new stuff, had no idea boxing involved so much. It's been the best blood, sweat, & tears, & I feel in the best shape ever!Thank you Irongloves Boxing. P.S. I saw how that person talked about Tony being 5'4", he is actually 5'5", I know, cuz I'm 5'9". Tony has always given me his full undivided attention. And what does height have to do with anything anyways? Freddy Roach is short. Hey, how about this question... why is it that the famous MMA dudes come & train with Tony (& Joe). Also, the NFL pros, & also the famous Professional Boxers set up their training camp at Irongloves. Just read their website (or stop in to see the famous pe

irongloves rocks

I've been with Irongloves for several years, I've even competed under them as an amateur boxer. All the coaches know their boxing & take time out to help us all. They doooo have big amateur backgrounds. I have been to several other boxing clubs, here & back east, all I can say is, Irongloves gives 100% to us all there, no matter if you are a fighter or not. If you don't believe me, stop by & see for yourself.‎

Great Atmosphere

Having never having boxed before, I have finally found something I really like. I was getting tired of the weightlifting gyms. Irongloves gives you a hard workout, and all the trainers are very helpful.

REAL Boxing

I have worked out at 2 other valley boxing clubs, they are nothing compared to Irongloves. At the other places, at first trained me like they cared, but then, they grouped me up with 1-2 guys, my trainer didn't know anything past the jab, my trainer talked too much, or didn't pay attention to my training (too busy texting). In summary, their knowledge I felt was very limited, they basically had me doing boxing fitness more than actual boxing. I wanted to achieve my physical goals by using boxing, not frivolous fitness exercises. Talking to my trainer at Irongloves, he said, often other trainers try to wear you out with fitness, then will put the gloves on you for 5 minutes. I told him, that is exactly what was going on, I was getting ripped off. The moral of the story, at Irongloves I am getting real boxing training. I have been with them for 8 months, & I am still learning new material. All the coaches are AAA class, they surely are boxing purists Mainly, the atmosphere will sell you!
