I love Zounds! Not only has my hearing improved, but the Zounds staff is great! Everyone has my best interest at heart. No rushing or unnecessary upselling. Zounds is my first hearing aid company and it will be my last!

They are the best I have ever owned. They work!! Some issues at the beginning, which are being worked out.

Only 1 in 5 people that have hearing aids, actually wear them. I have paid for approximately 3 sets of hearing aids that I do not use. I have not been satisfied with the performance of the hearing aids, nor with handling the small batteries. I have a hand tremor so I have a very difficult time changing the batteries. This does have a happy ending… I saw an ad for Zounds Hearing of Charleston & thought I would go see what they were all about; even though my current hearing aids were only a year old. Instead of inserting batteries into the hearing aids, they are simply placed in a charger overnight. I was also surprised how affordable they are, far less expensive than my previous hearing aids. They are the most “operation friendly” hearing aids I have ever owned. I’m very pleased with the professional & courteous staff at Zounds. They have a strong commitment to service & always make me feel welcome. I would highly recommend Zounds Hearing of Charleston for all of your hearing needs. Thank you Zounds for a new hearing source!

I have worn hearing aids for years and the biggest problem I had with them was changing the batteries daily. With Zounds, I never have to change the batteries because they are rechargeable. I recharge them at night and it’s automatic. Another reason is when I decided I wanted new hearing aids, I went to 3 different places. They all had the same story. They wanted $5300 - $5800 for a pair and I could get a refund after 30 days if I didn’t like them. I pursued that and learned after the fact that I would get a refund of all but $500. The Zounds hearing aids that I have now, I can use this hand held remote control to raise the volume on each hearing aid separately. With it, I can also adjust for being in a crowd or being in a dining room or what have you. Overall, I Love the fact that I can adjust it, they don’t require batteries, and they are both doing a great job for me and they cost a whole lot less than $5500.

It’s a big difference with Zounds. I’m a volunteer in a very busy ER and it’s amazing to be able to hear conversations more clearly so I can effectively help people. The Audiologist at the Zounds NYC office is so caring and one of the best practitioners I've ever worked with.

Due to the wonderful staff at Zounds NYC, I now have complete hearing in both ears. It is great to have a balanced base to hear conversations without having to strain to understand what people are saying.

I would be lost without my Zounds Hearing aid. It has improved the quality of my life in ways that words cannot describe. I can hear sounds that I haven’t heard before like birds singing in the morning. Also, the staff at Zounds has been wonderful in diagnosing my hearing problems and adjusting my hearing aid. I’m pleased beyond words!

After trying three different brands of hearing aids over a 15-year period, I am able to now understand my granddaughters! One of the reasons I chose an early retirement from teaching was that I could no longer understand my eighth grade female students and could not understand my female principal. Zounds has, without question, changed my social life and family interactions. Thank you!

I have to say that my life has changed since I discovered Zounds Hearing Aids. I am so very happy for this experience as I’m now hearing for the first time things I’ve never heard before. The TV volume went from 38-40 down to 15! And, I can now go to the movies and hear.

I was thrilled when I found Zounds and that their hearing aids were rechargeable. The idea of having to change batteries would drive me crazy. Without Zounds I wouldn’t be wearing a hearing aid.

Ken is a gentleman who told me about the hearing aid in an understandable way and adjusted the size of the link to make it comfortable. The receptionist Kelsie was very courteous and friendly as well as competent.

Hearing loss happens so gradually that you do not even realize how much you are missing. Then when you have the hearing aids it is a bit of an adjustment at first, because you are hearing so well. I became aware & familiar with all the sounds I thought I lost forever such as: the turning signal in the car, my dog running across the ceramic floor his nails scratching, and my silverware on the plate. I could actually hear the person across from me at a restaurant. Zounds hearing aids have made such a difference in my life.

This is the third set of hearing aids I have had. These hearing aids are the best I would highly recommend them to anyone needing hearing aids.

I now hear very distinctly pastor’s voice. I also have improvement in hearing television. I also enjoy my dining mode in restaurants. Wore Avada hearing aids ‘whistle’ and ‘scratching’ consistency – so very irritating.

Words can’t say how happy I am to be able to hear again. They have been wonderful in helping me.

I am writing a testimony about my personal experience as patient at Zounds Hearing. I have been wearing hearing aids for the past 8 years. They were the small CIC hearing aids. As my ability to hear has become worse, I’ve been looking for replacement hearing aids. Before coming to Zounds, I tried a couple of other kinds of hearing aids that didn’t work out for me. When I first came to Zounds, I was very favorably impressed with the staff here. They listened to what I had to say about my hearing problems, and immediately began to tell me what they had to offer. My ear canals are small, so I have had some issues with insertion and comfort. Paul Folwer is very professional and helpful. He has discussed options for me that I may want to try for optimal hearing and comfort. The staff here could not be more welcoming, helpful or accommodating than they have been to me. I would definitely recommend their services to others looking for a solution you haven’t been able to realize from the providers you have used. Wishing for you a successful experience with Zounds!!

Now, I am able to hear many sounds outside.

The hearing aids have helped so much. The TV isn’t so loud and I now hear sounds in my house I never used to hear, like the furnaces coming on, etc. I would definitely recommend them to my family and friends. The last time I only had one hearing aid and it makes a world of difference with 2 hearing aids. I feel more balanced and also I can talk on the phone using my hearing aid and there is no whistling noise.
