Had to be at the train station very early. Arranged for a 5:15 a.m. pickup. He texted confirmation and was early. His fare estimate was bang on. Use this company.

Referred by the Marriott in Toledo/ Holland and was a little nervous about being the sole passenger for the hour long trip from Detroit to Toledo but everything was just fine and it cost way less than a shuttle service. Plus Tom met me at the baggage claim area holding a sign with my name on it (like in the movies...lol) which made finding my way out of the airport so much less stressful. He confirmed the day before and also sent a text the day of so that by the time my plane landed, I knew right where to find him. Pleasant and polite conversation during the ride quickly made me feel comfortable plus employees at the Marriott all knew him by name and said they've referred him for several years now without complaints. Definitely will be calling him again for my next trip to Toledo!

Amtrak schedule headed to Northeast is always in the middle of the night, return very early morning. My husband checked out local companies and called The General, what a blessing! Had to call and change departure because of accident on Amtrak line. Tom proved to be flexible. We travel with a service dog and sitting in train station for hours is difficult for all!

General cab could easily be a limo service with a chauffeur! Courtesy, interesting driver,

willingness to accommodate and very prompt.

Confirms by text, but accepts calls if there is a

difficulty.

I had an important doctor appointment for eye surgery and had to be at the Toledo VA early in the morning to take the bus to Ann Arbor VA. My wife had gone on line to find the most reliable cab service and Tom had the best on time record, so happily we chose Tom. He was at my home early so I got to the VA with plenty of time to spare. After the surgery, I contacted Tom again and he picked me up the next day meeting the bus as it arrived at the Toledo VA. As you can tell already, I highly recommend Tom for his professional service, great attitude and reliability

Tom was professional and prompt. He got me sadly to the airport in a timely manner. Good conversation also. I will definitely use his services again. Pretty cool I get discount for living in same town. Perfect if in need of a designated driver also.

I needed to take my car in for service, was going to take a few hours. I thought I would spend some time at the mall. Didn't know how I was going to get there. I haven't been in a cab for over 15 years, didn't know who to call, so I did a Google search for Toledo. To my surprise there were so many cab services. First thing was to check the reviews. Tom had the best with good stories. I called him at 8:40 pm. gave him time and place. We both were in agreement. At 10:28 pm he sent a text to confirm our time. The next day I get to my appointment and there he was his red, white and blue cab. I told him I would need a ride back he said to call. If you want excellent customer service, a punctual person and good entertainment, this is your man. Give him a call, you will be impressed.

I met Tom in CARY NC and used his services few times . Never ever I felt like he is a driver and am in a taxi. He was just like a co passenger , always on time , respectful , trusted and a good guide for you in NC.

Tom met my flight at the airport as promised. He was on time even though the flight was early. He is courteous and friendly. A very safe driver. I would recommend him to anyone needing transportation in this area. He has already scheduled my return tot he airport, and I am sure he will be on time. Excellent service. His son Brian is very helpful as well. It was a pleasure meeting them both.

After dealing with other cab companies that made me wait for hours on end, I'm glad I found Tom! He is always on time and polite. He even works with me when my appointments change. I will always use Tom for my cab needs from now on. I would highly recommend him if you ever are in need of a cab.

I just moved to Whitehouse and needed a ride to the airport. I found Tom by accident and immediately felt like I met a friend and neighbor. He assisted me with best times to leave etc.. Even worked with me in handling a flight delay.

He delayed my pick up so I did not have to wait at the airport for what ended up being a 3 hr delay. On top of that he worked with me in arranging my return pick up.

I am from India and when I came down here I never thought that I am going to meet such a gentlemen cab person. From last 5 months daily I am taking Tom service to drop/pick me from office. He is always on time and in case he is unable to make it he sends someone else to pick me. He is humble as well, he knows that I am from India and I don't have any other way to commute, so whenever I need to go to store he took me to Indian store and didn't charged 5-10 min waiting charges. He has give his service at mid night also, he pick me from megabus stop at mid night. He reached on time in mid night at bus stop and waited 30 min for me at bus stop as my bus was late. Soon I am going back to India but I am always going to remember him. I wish him and his family a happy and healthy life. Tom you are the best, I wish you all success in your business. Ever since I have been using taxis, I haven't met any taxi driver as good as Tom. He is very punctual and ready to assist in anyway he could. He has great patience (you know not many today have this quality or virtue). He is funny with lots of clean jokes and makes you laugh and as you do you forget your sorrows in this painful world. Infact, to ride with him is like pain medication when you are hurting, laughing when you are frustrated, feeling good when you are depressed. Tell me, who wouldn't want this great driver. Making you confortable is his passion and how i wish I can ride with him when something is troubling me because it is like hypertension clinic. Fantastic driver, always on time, happy to go out of his way for customers and in the event he cant make it he is happy to go the extra mile and organize replacement services. 10/10, turned my trip to Toledo into a survivable experience!

I've been riding with General Cab with Tom as driver for months now with dozens of rides to and from. Tom is almost always on time. On the rare events he can't make it, he makes it easy for you and books another driver to you to make it as hassle free as possible. Excellent service, and pleasant driver.
