Our main sewer line backed up into our house and we had sewage pouring from the ceiling of our den. We called Roto Rooter to help us.The gentleman that came out was initially very nice and explained that our toilet paper was the cause and he snaked the line out. He stated that we had a 30 day warranty and if he was called back and noticed that we used the same toilet paper that our warranty would be voided. We listened and changed toilet paper brands immediately. A week later the sewage started to come up from our toilet on the ground floor. We called Roto Rooter and another gentleman came. He wasn't able to come until around midnite. Because it was so late and our children were already in bed, he told us that he''ll send someone back out in the morning to look at it in the morning. We agreed and unfortunately the first gentleman returned. I say unfortunately because he was very rude the second time. While he was here I asked him why we only received a 30 day warranty on the service since we were home owners and he turned to me in the most evil and condescending way and said "I shouldn't have given you anything!" Unlike the first time he arrived, I was alone with him without my husband. He took advantage of that situation. I was frightened and unfortunately didn't speak up for myself. Because we were going through so much during that time, I pushed the weird conversation out of my head. Since what happened has returned to me, I can't get it out of my mind. I know his name and I remember his van. I'm asking anyone who decides to use this company to make sure that 2 or more people are available to witness Roto Rooters plumbing representatives, especially if their name is Sean/Shawn

I had issues installing a new toilet so the first company to come to mind was Roto-Rooter because I've used them before with great results. The technician was awesome and he did a fantastic job.

Your plumber, Chance, was very courteous and explained everything in detail to us. He is a very professional person and if we need a plumber again we will call your company & ask for Chance.

So we noticed about a week ago our plumbing was backing up, so I called roto rooter and they came right out and gave us a free estimate and then today it started backing up even worse so I called them back out and Chance was our expert and he was fantastic did everything in a timely manner and was very friendly and helpful! Everything was done perf cult and we now have a drain system that works! Thank you Roto Rooter! The best part was his bumper sticker it said #crapchaser lol just made my day!

Never having used Roto-Rooter before I didn't know just what to expect. You can imagine my surprise when Service Technician, Chance Davies arrived at my home earlier than expected. Mr. Davies introduced himself to me and explained the basic procedures he would perform to resolve my issue; stoppage/blockage in main drain line going from the house to the street. He fully informed me of the charges for this service call and what the fee would cover. His professionalism was evidenced by his neat uniformed personal appearance and having the right equipment and tools necessary to "fix it right--the first time"... He thoroughly evaluated the stoppage in the main drain and commenced to resolve it. His work was accurate and precise. He made a point of keeping me fully informed throughout the entire procedure. I could not be more satisfied or pleased with this entire experience. I can say without reservation that Roto-Rooter in Virginia Beach, VA has without a doubt gained another loyal customer. On Saturday, January 3, our entire house started to back up, room by room -- first the addition, then the kitchen, followed by the main bathroom ... I tried some Liquid Plumber, but to no avail. I contacted the folks at Roto-Rooter in Virginia Beach, VA, and they sent a service technician out right away. Our technician, Shawn Prunty, cleared all the lines, took care of the "clogs" and explained how to prevent problems like this in the future. Shawn was courteous, efficient and informative. My wife and I live in Virginia Beach. We were beginning our wedding anniversary/ vacation week when a leaking Quest pipe problem reared its ugly head. I called Roto-Rooter, and they sent a professional tech named Patrick out to us who was able to diagnose the troubles within minutes. After reviewing my options, I had him come back the next day. He was skilled, knowledgeable, courteous, and accommodated our situation in less time than estimated. Roto-Rooter has an asset with Patrick bending over backwards to get the job done right once. But that's probably par for the course with this technician as all other staff at Roto-Rooter.
