I found this vet clinic on a Google search and choose them because they had the most and best reviews, now I understand why. This place is awesome every one is so friendly, kind and knowledgeable. From the front staff to the nurses they actually care about their job, the animal and you. They answer all your questions and take their time. You don't feel rushed or one of a million patients. The vet makes it a personal experience for you and your animal. I am so happy I found them and I'm actually excited to go back for our next appointment to see every one again. They really are good people and treat you like family. The pricing is normal compared to anywhere else, maybe even a little bit less from my vet experiences. The office is very clean and they have separate waiting rooms for dogs and cats which is amazing! Not sure why nowhere else has thought of that idea but it's great. There are also specialty food options, treats and toys available for sale in each animals section. The vet before our viait was over came back on thw room with a aheet of evwrything he did that day and what was on the agenda for the next appointment as well as his email and cell number, he said to call or email whenever if we had any questions or concerns. WOW. My husband were like okay this one's a keeper! It really is a great place, try them out and see for yourself!

So glad I changed vet. I've had one pet that they diagnosed and she got the best tx. Now I've switched my other sweet furry friend and I'm very glad. She's been sick but they are there every time I call and I bring her then. It's great one on one ,explain well,and overall the staff is very compassionate to all needs, and clean. Love all yall,thanks for all you do to make my little ones feel better.

My boyfriend and I recently adopted a dog from a local rescue group and it was recommended to take her to this practice and see Dr. Knox, very impressed as he was kind, caring and took plenty of time with us despite the fact that they were extremely busy on a Saturday morning. He made a very strong impression on us and couldn't have made our first experience with vets any better. Even sent us an email the next day to check on how things were and if we had any questions.

Everything about my experience at the Houston Veterinary Clinic exceeded my expectations!! The staff was super friendly, the doctor was extremely patient while answering all the questions I had, and I left with a piece of mind that my fur babies were in great hands. I will definitely be using this place for all my future needs.

Only gave five stars because you couldn't give a sixth. The entire staff knows everything about raising and caring for my dog, and seeing the young doctor is like an appointment with an entertainer that is brilliant and puts both your babies and you at ease.. Dr. Knox could have gone into teaching he breaks down things into ways to easily understand for the layperson. Always available even after hours for questions, first doctor or vet I've ever had to make a next day call back to check on a patient.

Though my interaction was quite painful as it involved the loss of our longtime companion, I can't say enough about the class, empathy, and professionalism of all those at the clinic. We had been to other doctors and been misdiagnosed recently but Dr. Hilliard found out what was wrong and explained things in a very straightforward way, even going so far as to draw out how and why things were happening as they were. He gave us all the options with the potential outcomes of each and was there all the way for advice, even going out of his way to talk with us on Sunday when closed. The empathy the staff showed us in our time of grief made it obvious they genuinely cared and were not just another animal and family. Though I'd never wish anyone to have to go through the experience, if it ever happens it is my hope it is with the support, care and love that we received.

Very impressed with my experience. The doctor is very young and energetic and really took time to explain things to me and my stepson about our new puppy. Everything from fleas to behavior training, he left nothing out and was more than happy to spend time answering all our questions despite the fact that there were several other people there that probably needed to be seen. Very thorough. Price matching on preventatives is great. By using the coupon for the first visit, we got all our dogs vaccines, dewormed, six months of prevention and a very thorough exam for under $130. Practice is clearly been around for a while and it shows but the facility was clean and grounds well maintained. It's not on any main roads so it's less stressful letting your dog out to do business versus other practices i've been to that are off busy highways. will certainly be back and have our pup scheduled for fixing in a few weeks! Definitely recommend

verwhelmed with the sympathy which their doctor showed towards my sons dog who passed away despite all their best efforts. Dr. Hilliard explained things slowly and simply in such a way that we understood everything and you could tell he is on your side. It's rare these days to have people that aren't driven solely by profits in the service industry and fortunately the folks at Houston Vet Clinic really do care. they do an unbelievable amount of work with rescue animals also which i find so neat. When the day comes that we are ready to add another to the family, we'll be back without question

Really great explaining the cause of my dog's condition and making me feel a part of the treatment process. Gave me clear options and explained fully the risks of each option and what to expect. Skin problems aren't fun but I'm very pleased with how things have improved. Dr. Knox gave me his cell and email and clearly cares deeply about his patients. Nurses were very kind and helpful as well.

Very nice staff, great help with treating a persistent vomiting problem in my older dog. Very accessible and helpful staff. Prices reasonible

Great hospital with good medicine practiced. Only met one of the doctors but he was very good. Can be tough to find on your first visit as it's in a less seen part of town.

Outstanding practice, I'd trust Dr. III with my own life. Only downside is he's a die hard Georgia Bulldog fan. Practices great medicine, good staff with a clean welcoming environment.

We took our new puppy and our 3 year old cat in for a check up and vaccinations. The staff and vet took time to ask questions to learn about my animals health history and was so kind to my animals. This place is now the only vet we will use. They are great.

We have been with Houston Vet clinic for over 7 years always felt welcomed and that my pets were their pets. This past weekend 8 Aug 15 my dog suddenly appeared to be very sick. Called the office and told them what was going on and was told to get her their asap. This was 5 minutes before they were to close for the day. There was no hesitation about telling me to get there. Upon arrival they got us right to exam room and started treatment. Never felt like we were being rushed through and it was well over an hour past closing time. Dr Knox Hilliard told me how to contact him if my dog got worse. I did contact him around 8pm and got a timely reply. We highly recommend Houston Vet Clinic.

Wonderful staff! We've taken our "kids" there for many years and have had the BEST experiences! They're the only people I will board with.

Dr. Hilliard and all of his staff members really helped me with my ferret. Even though it was last minute he let me come in so Henry could be seen. He was badly injured and had to stay overnight. Dr. Hilliard kept me up to date on his status and made Henry as comfortable as possible. Henry did not make it but having Dr. Hilliard and his team help Henry and I really made a difference. They were all sympathetic and caring. Thanks guys.
