When I couldn't find a long gown that was simple yet elegant in a size 2 or 4, I turned to Betty. She made me a beautiful gray silk gown with a matching jacket. I don't remember her using a pattern, but the gown fit me perfectly and was exactly what I wanted. I also wore it to several formal occasions and felt very comfortable in it. Betty's workmanship is excellent and she was most helpful in selecting the main fabric and another one for part of the top and for the jacket lapels.

Betty did a fabulous job on my wedding dress! I had taken the dress to two other seamstresses and was turned down both times! They didn't want to touch it! The dress was too long and without a seam around the middle it was almost impossible to make shorter without cutting off the bottom. The bottom of the dress had many sequins and particular features that I definitely did not want to lose. I don't know how she did it but she was able to make it shorter without cutting the bottom. Betty made it perfect and it was beautiful! Thank you Betty!

I had bought a dress off the rack at a L.I. store who was only interested in the sale. It was a size too large in certain areas. Betty had sewn my daughter's wedding dress, another review, and I asked for her help with fixing mine thinking the basics, hemming, a nip and tuck here. Betty knew I couldn't wear the dress the way it was and she totally redesigned the dress using the scarf that came with it. She also did the hem and her prices were unbelievably reasonable. Everyone of course looked at the bride but then they looked at me. I can't wait for my son to get married.

Betty Ting is professional and genuine. I used her services for the alteration of two bridesmaid dresses. She communicated my options at every step of the alteration process. I had never worked with a seamstress prior to Betty. After we e-mailed and finally met, she was flexible when exchanging some her suggestions and meeting my needs. I felt very comfortable with the cost of her services and have been surprised by how reasonable her prices are. I'm in graduate school and planning my own wedding, so paying for alterations is a big deal! I feel great about the work she has done on the dresses and will absolutely work with Betty Ting in the future.

Betty handmade my wedding dress, bridesmaides dresses, and my mother's dress. It was more than I could have wanted. It was extremely well made and beautiful. She understands how to make formal dresses and really understands what people want. It was exactly what I had asked for. I would highly recommend her and already have to many people.

Betty Ting is the only person I would ever ask for any sewing or dress design. She's a genius with a needle. Ask her for any design, any task and she can create it far better than you imagined it. She's made many garments for me and they are all perfectly fitted; her craftsmanship is without equal.
