In our time working with SMS we learned some valuable strategies which have become integral in our expansion plans. We spent the better part of the last give years trying to expand our service area and running into some significant roadblocks. With the help of SMS we have for the first been able to increase our service area and also our working hours. Just a couple of years ago this would have been unthinkable. Most of our issues are staffing and labor related but with their help we have been able to cut our employee turnover rate in half. This alone has helped us branch out into newer areas.

After an initial consultation with SMS I was impressed by their honesty, knowledge and ability to give me no nonsense answers to my questions. They came up with practical solutions to what I felt was our most glaring issues. We have just completed our original scope of work but we have decided to keep them on to work on some other issues that have been bothering us for years.

They helped me put together a comprehensive business plan that included financial projections, and an actionable strategy with our sales team. I have been struggling to get our sales team up and running with a strategy that is at least somewhat modernized. I had no idea we were so behind the times with our strategies and processes until it was presented to us. Since the team started following their advice, we’ve been hitting the goals and doing much better.

We have worked with a few different consulting companies and they are mostly all the same. The real difference we ran into with SMS was it seemed like they really had a vested interest in our success. We also did not notice any scope creep which was an issue with other companies in the past. We agreed on a budget and timeframe and they were able to stick to both. They were easy to deal with, skilled, and knowledgeable.

I just wanted to say we are extremely pleased with the process and the results from our time working with SMS. We have grown so much through this and now have so much more confidence in ourselves, our ability, and direction of the company. We feel like we are finally running like a real business. We now have SOP's, clear job descriptions for our people, amazing reports that help
us understood our finances, and the biggest for me personally is the QuickBooks training.

We were able to streamline our reporting which led us to make some long overdue labor changes.

Always hated dealing with our accounting issues year after year. We have an outside accountant that handles our year end nightmare but most of our issues were internal. SMS was able to help us figure out most of our issues and create an action plan on how to correct them. Hopefully this will end our yearly nightmares.

They were able to help us with our ERC credits. We had a few different company offer to help but they always wanted to charge based on final amount which would have been too high. SMS was far and charged us a flat rate.

It was a pleasure working with the team from SMS. I worked mostly with T.J over the last couple of months. After doing things the same for thee last seven years I knew it was going to be difficult to change. I was very impressed with their knowledge of both the sales and accounting aspects of our business. They were instrumental in getting us to switch from older systems to QuickBooks online and a new staffing system that should help lower our labor costs. The results we are already seeing are more than we expected and importantly more than we were promised. With their continued guidance we hope to accomplish much more over the coming weeks.

I brought in this company to help our sales team and for some other administrative issues that we had been having. I probably waited too long to get help which made their job even harder. I really did fear the worst after they delivered their initial assessment. Even though we had many issues they were there for us and basically held our hand through the entire process. We used this company almost two years ago and we recently called them up to see if they could help with some sales and CRM related issues we were having. They worked with us over the last month or so and were able to help us overcome most of our issues and promised to circle back with us next month on anything that was outstanding. Initially our first contact with SMS was via someone coming into our office asking us a bunch of questions about our business. Usually this is a red flag but I am glad we heard them out. We ended up initially agreeing to a modest engagement that turned into a four week long process. They were very helpful and their initial report pointed out a ton of things we were doing wrong. They helped move us in the right direction with better staffing decisions and process streamlining. We had to make some very difficult decisions and looking back they were ones we had been putting off for years. It's embarrassing to admit but we really did need our hand held each step of the way. I am very appreciative of their services and what they provided us.
