CDC Pools did a wonderful job of refinishing my 20yr old pool and when, due to weather and weird conditions we had a problem they came out and fixed it under the warranty no questions asked, and did another fantastic job. They even worked with my crazy schedule. Their integrity, professionalism, friendliness, and communication made this a wonderful experience!

Our pool remodel dealt with a crack in a freestanding wall and a remodel of the kool-deck around it. After researching it I found that there aren’t many companies that epoxy cracks. I got ahold of Cassie at CDC Pools and she dropped by in a few days. After looking at the project she talked with Chris, one of her bosses. He dropped by a couple of days later and he let me know what he would do for me. The crack was repaired then his crew of kool-deck people finished the repair-great job! The pool was filled and chemicals were added. Cassie answered any questions we had and got back in a short time. Cassie is great to work with and our experience was very good! Thankyou CDC Pools!

On 4/14/2020 Cassie from CDC Pools came to our home to give us an estimate. She took measurements and outlined our choices. She was professional and personable and everything she said was the truth. Cassie stated that it might take a week or two to get us into the schedule and then the work would be completed in 5 weeks.

Luis, our Construction Manager, took over then. He texted me in the evening to let me know when his team was going to arrive the next day and what part of the project they would work on and whether there was anything I should know about. The workmen came, worked hard and efficiently, and cleaned up after themselves. Luis came by frequently to check their progress. On 5/12/2020 they came and tested the water and all functions and added the appropriate chemicals. It is finished. In 4 weeks instead of the 5-6 that we anticipated. it is completed, and completely beautiful. There were no hassles, no surprises, no extra expenses.

We got 4 estimates for this project. CDC was in a tie for the least expensive and they won because Cassie was such a good and responsive communicator. I am so glad that we chose CDC - they pulled off a perfect project.

Excellent job overall! CDC Pools performed resurface and re-tile of our 30 old pool. Communications with the CDC team during the project was excellent. The crews were on time, professional and efficient. Cassie and Lane were responsive and helpful through out the project and cost was considerably less than the competitors. Unfortunately there was a step missed in the overall process (removing the cleaning heads) which caused them not to function when the pool came back up but Lane is in the process of replacing them hence the 4 out of 5 rating but I would recommend CDC Pools for their professionalism and work ethic.

I had my pool completely redone after it being empty for 3 years. It came out absolutely perfect. I am so happy with it. Cassie my sales person was so helpful with guiding me in choosing colors of tile and the pebble and didn't try to push extras or the more expensive.

When the pool was first looked at they were worried about the cracks on the bottom and Chris, the supervisor, took a look at it and said that they would know more after the chip out, but there was the possibility of having to totally redo the bottom. I knew that it was a possibility when I started this project, but I was lucky, the bottom was fine. I appreciated their honesty. Since I was saved a lot of money I added a few extras, such as tile murals (turtles) and blue pebbles.....BEAUTIFUL

Sergio the project manager was great to work with. If I had questions he answered right away and worked with my schedule.

CDC Pools was recommended to me by a co-worker, who gave me Cassie's card. The best thing that ever happened. There are not enough words to say how happy the new redo of my pool has made me. THANK YOU!!!

Wanted to give 4.5 rating - 5 stars for the pool and .5 star off for the cool decking – but can’t so rounded down.

After 23 years our plaster "play" non-diving pool, spa and cool decking needed to be updated/remodeled. After speaking with a few companies, we decided to go with CDC Pools.

Cassie was great to work with and helped us decide on tile and pebble sheen finish.
Jason was our site manager and was easy to contact and returned calls/texts quickly.

Everything concerning the interior of the pool and spa went as scheduled and we could not be happier with the finished product. They did an excellent job on the tile and pebble sheen (those guys really are craftsmen). I decided to replace the 2 round drains in the bottom of the pool with a flat channel drain so our robot would not get "stuck" anymore nor would we hit our feet on the drains - and this was done expertly as well. Also, the old spa jet inlets/outlets protruded from the side an inch or 2, so as to poke you in the back if sitting in front of them. They are all now flush with the wall looking and feeling much better. The only issue I had was a few inches of grout that needed to be redone on the dam wall.

The cool decking was another matter and while below are not large issues, to me most could and should have been avoided. I was told decking would not be painted until interior work was completed to avoid any possible "damage". Came home and it had been painted - after demo but before interior had been started. This I could have lived with but the real irritation was that the "plugs" you unscrew to put an umbrella or volleyball net - 2 had been painted over and could not be unscrewed and the 3rd had been taken off and painted over covering the threads so you could not screw that one in. Also, the cover for the skimmer had not been painted but the auto fill and tablet covers had been. The decking finish did need to be touched up due to "damage" while the interior was completed and after the pool/spa had been refilled we scheduled a time for this to be fixed. I stayed home that day as I wanted to go over everything with them. Scheduled time came/went and after a couple more hours I contacted site manager Jason to inquire where they were and was informed they would not make it - so I wasted half day waiting on them which would have been fine, as things do come up, but I should have been informed of it. 2 days later I contacted Jason again as to when cool decking would be done and was informed, he thought it had been? NO, but they did get to it within a couple of hours of my call. Ultimately all was taken care but it wasn’t as smooth a process as I had hoped or experienced with the pool interior.

So, I do recommend them as our pool looks great but if having them do cool decking make really sure communication and expectations are set early on.

And filter system. Cassie, our sales person was great! She helped us with picking out the right
Colors for everything. It was also nice that they had a showroom where you could see all the different finishes that were available. From start to finish, the job went well. Ray, the job supervisor, kept in touch with us and let us know when things were going to happen. The overall experience was great and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending CDC pools to anyone who needed a pool remodel!

CDC Pools really did a great job on our 14-year old pool. The original pebble tec was old and faded, streaked and rough. CDC re-did the pebble in a beautiful light blue, with new blue tile and matching diamond accents on the steps in the pool and in the spa. It looks like an inviting, cool pool now. One we can be proud of.

Their project supervisor was great and explained everything and answered all our questions (thanks, Sergio!), and the crew was on time and got the work done efficiently and expertly. Also, they would call the day before and tell us which crew would be here, and what they would be doing. They got the job done in half the projected time, even with all the rain we've had this October.

Would I recommend this company to someone looking to re-surface their pool? Absolutely!

Excellent job overall! CDC Pools performed resurface and re-tile of pool and spa. Coordination and communication from CDC Pools are first rate. I was receiving emails, receipts and texts for all activity by several departments of the CDC staff. Superb real-time updates on the activities taking place or to be scheduled. Excellent support following the completion of the repair and the filling of the pool to include inspections of pumps and chemicals of the water. Our home was a vacant home, but i had full confidence in their presence at the home. Yes, I would recommend CDC Pools for their professionalism.

We contracted with CDC Pools in December 2017 for a large ($35K) overhaul of an old diving pool that still had a whip system to clean the bottom, badly cracked cool decking, and a cracked concrete slab. Since the cost of this job was going to be larger than our first home purchase in 1977 (gulp), we wanted to make sure that we hired a skilled, qualified company, that knew materials, could provide helpful design suggestions, and one we could count on the fully complete the job to our satisfaction.
After obtaining competitive bids, we decided to go with CDC. Cassie Selles, who contracted the job for CDC, was nothing short of amazing. She knows her company, knows pool remodeling ins and outs, and was able to give us advice on materials. (Artistic pavers vs Travertine, minipebble vs plaster, pool color etc.)
Our job began on January 11th and was to be completed by February 28. Due to adept scheduling and crews, our job was complete on February 3rd! (Cassie came out this morning and we added additional paver work to the front of our house!)
Here’s our information that will help you as you consider CDC Pools:
1. Bid and pricing: Not the cheapest bid, but competitive, and we felt well worth the expertise and security we would have knowing that company is a long time valley company that would stand behind their work. If you are remodeling, confidence in the company’s expertise is important so that you can address any issue that comes up with an old pool. We had no additional costs because of the careful bidding from CDC.
2. Scheduling and crews: Because of the stable crews, we were extremely pleased with the progress of our project. We watched the paver and chip out crews work very long days and with care for our property. It was always left clean and we had no complaints from neighbors around us. We knew when crews were coming, asked them to use only a designated gate for entrance and exit, and they were respectful of our requests.
3. Job supervision and management: Our supervisor Sergio, Cassie, job foremen, and the CDC office staff were available to answer questions and communicate when we needed them to. Justin, the job foreman for the paver crew, made time to meet with us personally to answer questions about the Artistic Paver material and to address specific drainage issues. As with any job, as property owners, it’s important to make sure you ask questions and understand what is being done and how things are going. CDC was always available to us.
We hope this helps you as you consider your pool remodel. It’s a big job, you want it done right and you want a company that will stand behind their work long term. We were very pleased with the process and love our new backyard and pool.

Had the best experience ever with CDC Pools! We just bought a vacation home in Scottsdale and needed to redo the surface of the pool. Cassie was super helpful in assisting us in selecting the perfect pebble tech coating and tile within many options that could have been overwhelming. With her expertise and guidance we were able to fine tune our selections and prioritize our needs very quickly.

That was just the beginning. They assigned a point person to oversee the whole job and I was informed every step of the way. I was able to connect with Sergio for any questions or concerns and he was more than responsive. I never waited at all for him to get back to me and he was extremely helpful. He came by to check on things periodically throughout the process and made sure that everything was to our satisfaction. In my opinion, he went above and beyond in customer service attending to our every need and was always polite and respectful.

This has been a seamless, positive experience and my pool looks amazing! (photos to come...) Now I just need some warm weather so I can swim in it:)

We had CDC bid on redoing our pool. Cassie was great and suggested some travertine pavers on a patio that we had not considered doing. Their bid was better than others and it turned out beautiful! We love the completed redesign. All of the workers who showed up were nice and did a great job. They cleaned up after they completed a days work and we love our pool! The timeliness could have been a bit better as the overall job took longer than we expected.

I strongly recommend CDC Pools to do your pool renovation. I had the pleasure of working with CASSIE SELLE, who was the ultimate professional, extremely helpful, great listener and a true delight to work with. We were renovating a 35+ year old pool and I wanted to maintain a reasonable cost Cassie identified every option, did not try to sell me something that I didn't want and was extremely helpful in selecting all of the materials. She made some suggestions that I probably would not have chosen myself but they turned out really beautiful - much better than what I had selected. I know that you would be EXTREMELY SATISFIELD with Cassie as well as CDC Pools.

CDC Pools remodeled our pool and did an excellent job! The team started in December 2016 and finished in February. CDC handled my personal requests and was always on call to support pretty much anything that was requested. Very professional staff and on-site support. CDC is very organized and managed very well. I'm impressed and will refer them to whomever needs a pool remodel.

From the very start everyone from Cassie, the sales person on to the finishers were professional. They kept me update on everything that was going on and the next steps. The foreman, Ray, was on top of everything and made sure everything was finished to our satisfaction. Would highly recommend CDC to anyone considering any type of work on their pool.

CDC resurfaced our pool in January 2017. They were a very easy company to work with, responsive to questions, on-time and on schedule with the work that was done. We are very happy with the new look of our PebbleTec pool and would recommend CDC in the future.

I usually don’t post reviews, but I had a great experience working with Cassie and the CDC team on our pool resurfacing. Cassie is professional and pleasant to work with and was attentive to our concerns with the initial resurface. CDC resurfaced the pool a 2nd time, at no charge, and the results came out beautifully. In addition, the crew was professional and cleaned their mess before leaving. She also made sure to stay in contact after the pool resurfacing was completed. I highly recommend working through Cassie at CDC.

Couldn't be happier with the work done by CDC Pools. Had my painted plaster pool resurfaced with Baja Micro Pebble over a year ago. The surface still looks brand new and the texture is better than any other pebble or mini pebble tek you've ever felt. I received 3 other quotes for resurfacing and not only was CDC Pools one of the cheapest quotes, they were the only ones who offered Micro Pebble. I visited their impressive showroom to choose the color I wanted because the surface always looks different when under water. Something I wouldn't have known if their courteous salesman wouldn't have informed me of. During the demolition, 2 of my existing tiles were cracked. Since we had planned on reusing them, CDC simply replaced them with matching tiles, no questions asked. As the process continued, I had several questions but there was always someone who had a professional answer for me. After everything was finished, I was instructed on how to break in the pool and asked if I was completely satisfied with the appearance of everything. I mentioned there was a white hazy spot and they sent out someone immediately to acid wash it completely away. A few days later, I found a brand new high end skimmer basket installed. CDC Pools just keeps giving and giving! I am now in a new house with a pool that will need a new surface in the next few years and you better believe I will be using CDC Pools!
