Don't take your bird here. I took my lovebird in because she was pulling out some of her feathers and damaging her skin. I wish I had researched the issue before taking her in, but I was alarmed. Really all went well until the vet said I needed to have a collar put on her even tho she thought the problem was strictly emotional and suggested I get a bigger cage and pay more attention to the bird. I had been spaced out because of a death in the family.. Anyway, that should have been tried FIRST. Instead she was insistent about the collar so I went along with it. Long story short, by the time I got my bird home with the collar on, foam was coming out of her beak and she looked dazed. I called them back and the help told me to bring her back in. I knew my bird would not make the trip back so I asked her to tell me how to get the collar off. Reluctantly, she told me. My bird was completely dazed and did not move for at least half an hour after I took the collar off. It was a very traumatic experience for her. I came close to losing an other wise healthy bird. Now, after more research and a bigger cage she still picks some but leaves her skin alone. If your bird has a behaviour problem research it before taking it to a place like this.

Very nice staff and very respectful! It is amazing how genuine the care is here, everyone on staff are truly animal lovers and it shines through in their work.

Dr. P is amazing! She always seems to put us at ease when we are worried. She always seems to know exactly what is wrong- the first time and can fix it quick! Front desk & remaining nurses & doctors are all great! I wouldn't take my bunny anywhere else!
