Couldn't recommend this company more highly. They're professional, accurate, efficient, helpful -- more than I ever wanted or expected in a moving company. Don't even waste your time getting other quotes -- these guys are far and away the best.

Absolutely recommend University Moving & Storage. We all know that moving is stressful enough and I can honestly say University Moving & Storage made life easier for me and my wife. The office staff from start to finish were extremely easy to work with and provided various options to help fit our needs. The crews that moved us out and moved us into our home were polite, professional, and treated our belongings as if they were their own. I also feel the cost to move us out, store our things for a few months, and move us in was more than reasonable. Thank you Jeff, Michelle, and the rest of the crew for making this part of moving a breeze.

I was amazed at how hard these guys worked from the minute they stepped in the door. They worked from early morning until they were done, barely stopping to take any breaks. They were very professional & courteous. I HIGHLY recommend University moving & storage & would use them again.

My wife and I are extremely impressed with the entire team at University Moving & Storage. We were facing a very complex two day move, and our emotions wee running high as we approached moving from our home after 20 years. The staff maintained a calm, professional and caring manner throughout this challenging process. Our experience got off to a great start with Jessica walking us through all the pre-move preparations to make sure we were ready on move day.



On move day, a huge truck appeared with Mark the driver and the extremely professional crew of Jeff, Adam, Jacob and Erik. They quickly went to work protecting our wood floors, railings, doors, etc. They took excellent care of our house, our furnishings, and even us.



I teach a graduate level class at a local University, and found my self using this experience as an example of good customer service. The entire team focused on our needs in a very courteous, and caring manner. We are delighted to have tis opportunity to recommend the professional team at University Moving and Storage. Thank you guys and Jessica for making it possible for us to survive this arduous move.

We were so impressed with the level of customer service received from everyone we dealt with at University Moving and Storage. Matt Adams was very accurate with the quote and gave us great suggestions for the move. Jessica Toporek was fantastic in answering all my questions and checked in with me on move day to make sure everything was going according to plan. Our team of movers was great. Arrived on time, were friendly, and took great care in protecting floors, doors and all our furniture. We had painters working at our new house when furniture started to arrive and they even commented they had never seen movers take such great care to protect a customer’s home and belongings. The whole team and University Moving and Storage made the hassle of moving hassle free and I would highly recommend them to family and friends.

I was very happy with the service I received from University Moving. Jessica was very informative and professional. The movers were very patient, even when I at one point became a nervious Nellie. The experience overall was a good one. I would highly recommend them to my family and friends.

I had a great experience with these guys. Michael and Susan were efficient and responsive whenever I had questions or paperwork to deal with.



Bruce and his crew showed up on time, were very polite, and cleaned up after themselves. On the other end, the delivery guys were early! Yes, early! Very nice also, and got done really quickly. The whole thing was hassle free and super easy as far as moving experiences go. I hope I never move again, but if I do, I'll use these guys again.

University Moving & Storage provided excellent and efficient service for my move. Jessica was extremely pleasant and helpful in accommodating my last minute service request and cost estimate for the move. She was professional and extended the highest level of customer service in every phone conversation while coordinating my move.

On moving day, my movers (Mark, Bob, Matt and Pat) were exceptional! They arrived promptly and provided tremendous service throughout the entire day. They were courteous, friendly, professional and treated my belongings and home as if it were their own. My furniture and boxes were placed gently in each room and they made sure to verify we were happy with the placement of each item. What a fantastic team!

Having used moving companies other than University Moving & Storage my wife I had come to expect mediocre results at best. This was my first experience with University Moving & Storage and I was blown away! Mark, Bob, Alex and Matt moved our belongings with such care and attention to detail as a result we were stress free. We never had to direct them to take extra care of our things. The professionalism, work ethic and courtesy was unbelievable! We literally sat back and watched unmatched common sense and logic master our move! The price was competitive and worth every penny! The entire staff at University Moving & Storage exceeded any expectation my wife and I had! I strongly recommend using this company based on the fact that a group of great people came together and CARED about their work!

The salesperson who gave me my quote was pretty much right on the money with his time estimate for the job, and they were more reasonable than I expected, even for my 6 mile door to door local move. They can and do national moves, but they still beet the local guys on a truck for pricing and professionalism. The team were great, courteous, and efficient, and they kept offering to do as much or as little as I wanted them to do. I asked the guys to be cautious of the fresh paint on the walls , and I couldn't have been more pleased with their efforts, despite some difficult turns to be negotiated on the stairwells. University Moving were very professional. Every interaction we had from the person inspecting our house, to the coordinator to the movers themselves were professional, on time, and on budget. The movers were also careful to not scuff / hit any walls, and laid down protection on the floor surfaces. I would not hesitate to recommend University Moving and Storage to friends and family.

I helped a dear friend and her family move under very sad circumstances. We used University Moving and Storage. From the beginning of the process until the end it was handled incredibly well. Jeff Marcero was efficient and knowledgaeble and Michelle was communicative and reassuring. Jimmy, Mark, Ron and John were kind and considerate on this very emotional day. These guys went above and beyond to make sure this family was comfortable and self sufficient in their new home. I would highly reccomend this company and they should be very proud to have these men and Michelle as part of their team.

For that move you are planning, make sure you call Donna at University Moving and Storage. They are with North American Van Lines. Her estimate was much lower than the others, and she was right, saving us $1800!Request Brian Burrus do the Actual move. He and his crew are top notch! They don't have the words no or we can't in their vocabulary. They put my whole family at ease on both ends of the move. A true gentleman. (and strong as a bull!) USE THIS COMPANY

Cannot say enough about this organization. Superb customer service from start to finish, from all the employees: office & warehouse staff, managers, drivers, and of course, the movers themselves. They treat your stuff like their own, even better.



Moved from Michigan to New Jersey without so much as a scratch to anything- houses or belongings plus on time and under "budget".



After 4 moves, this one was far and above the best. The others weren't even close.

Have never experienced such a painless and stress free move. From the admin staff Michelle to the movers Mark, Mike and Bob .All were courteous, efficient, professional and above all moving wise clean with great attention to detail.

I would highly recommend University moving! Had a great experience from start to finish - with all individuals from the office to the movers. For anyone who has ever moved during a Michigan winter - you will appreciate that the movers covered our floors and carpet to protect them from the snow and salt and then took their shoes off to move items onto carpeted areas! Planning a long distance move for my daughter in Texas back home to Michigan was turning into a nightmare. The companies that I was considering were "shady" to say the least and the reviews were awful. It was to the point that we were going to rent a truck and do it ourselves.



A friend recommended University Moving and I am so thankful! From the moment I spoke to our sales rep Matt, I felt at ease. We were quoted a fair price and the follow up that we received along the way from Michelle was great. She did an awesome job keeping us up to date on the location of the truck and the expected delivery date. I even received calls from the drivers letting me know that they were on track.



The movers in Houston, as well as Detroit were courteous, hard working and professional. Our delivery showed up on time, on budget and completely damage free.

My son recently graduated from one of the military academies and was moving to his permanent post in Kansas. We had a very tight delivery timing and not a lot of furniture. The items being moved had to be picked up from my residence, moved to Kansas and stored briefly to make our delivery timing in mid November. I met with Matt in October and was immediately comfortable with him. He really understood my concerns and was very responsive to our timetable. He took the time to prepare an excellent quote with great detail. MIchelle Pankow was outstanding and extremely knowledgeable. She was able to connect with the Kansas affiliate to safely store my son's items and complete the move into his apartment. The Kansas affiliate movers were on time, extremely courteous and careful. All of the items including several large framed keepsakes arrived intact and undamaged. I would recommend University Moving and Storage to family and friends in the future.
