Provided by YP.comThe doctors and staff at this hospital are great! My dog was having a difficult labor and we had to bring her in on emergency. They were able to admit her into surgery immediately for a c-section. They stayed in contact with me and I picked up my dog the next morning. She was a happy mom with 3 pups and despite surgery she was still nursing. They did a wonderful job taking care of my dog and her three babies.

Provided by YP.comThank you everyone who helped save my two beloved dogs from Foreign Body Ingestion. I never thought I would be in this predicament. Without your hard work and excellent patient care, they would not be with me today. Thanks again for everything.

Provided by YP.comI am very thankful to AERC. My dog recently had puppies and was acting lethargic and not eating. I brought her to see the doctors here and they took excellent care of her. She was more sick than I thought. They were wonderful and now my dog is back to normal. I am so glad that they were able to make her feel better.

Provided by YP.comI am so happy that the Animal Emergency & Referral Center is a 24 hour facility! My 16 week old puppy was lethargic and vomiting with diarrhea around 3 am. Our vet wasn't opened at that time. We brought him to the emergency hospital. The staff was very compassionate. They took the time to explain what was going on, and what would be expected. We left our puppy in good hands! A few hours later, the doctor called us. We picked up our puppy who looked 100% better. The doctor went over the discharge instructions and made sure we understood them.
I would definitely use them again.!!

Provided by YP.comThe Animal Emergency and Referral Center is amazing! My 6 year old lab became weak and was having difficulty walking so I immediately rushed her into the AERC. All of the doctors and staff were wonderful. My little girl had to stay with them for a few days for diagnostic tests and treatment. Luckily her diagnosis is manageable with medications. I am so grateful to the entire staff for being so kind and compassionate. It is very obvious that the care of their patients is their first priority! I hope I never need emergency services for any of my furry friends again, but if I do I am happy to know I can count on the AERC!!!

Provided by YP.comWow!!! I was walking my dog Scout one morning about 5:30am. He went to have a bowel movement and began screaming. He woke up my neighbors he was so loud. So I loaded him in the car and brought him to the Animal Emergency and Referral Center. They were so nice and helpful. The doctor was incredibly friendly and kind. He took a look at Scout and found a small stick in him. There was also blood, so he gave me advice of what to watch for. I recommend the AERC to everyone that has a pet exactly what the doctor told me - I hope you never need them, but if you do, they are there.

Provided by YP.comMy kitten had a terribly infected foot due to injuries she received before she came to live with me. She was so little and going to die from infection, but the doctors at AERC saved her life! She lost her leg, but she is just like any other kitten, wild and crazy! She has healed completely and having only three legs hasn't slowed her down a bit! Thank you AERC! You were wonderful and I will recommend you to anyone with any small animal emergencies!

Provided by YP.comThanks to the quick action of the techs and doctor, my dachshund survived an encounter with a bufo toad! Even though I was panicked when I called, their instruction to wash the mouth out and reassurance that they would be prepared for my arrival was calming. Thanks to all!!

Provided by YP.comA close friend and I have brought our pets--Buster and Rebel--to the Animal Emergency & Referral Center separately, resulting in two extremely positive experiences. Buster was the victim of a dog fight, and Rebel tried to become friends with a poisonous toad. Both animals recovered brilliantly and were treated with professionalism, compassion, and respect. Since then, I have become an employee at AERC, and it is no surprise to see that nothing has changed. Even when employees leave to pursue other jobs, they are still happy to bring their pets in for treatment. Thank you, AERC.

Provided by YP.comMy poor cat Trouble almost died on me. He stopped eating and was hiding under the bed all the time which was not like him at all! He has been a fat cat for as long as I can remember and never once missed a meal! When I brought him to the Animal Emergency and Referral Center they quickly realized that he was yellow also known in the medical feild as Jaundice! The doctors told me that his liver was failing. They told me he might have hepatic lipidosis or "Fatty liver". The only way to cure my dear Trouble was to get food into him, but still he would not eat. The Doctors recommended surgery to explore his abdomen and place a stomach tube through which they could give him food. I struggled with the decision, not knowing if it was fair to put my dear Trouble through so much. I took him home for 2 days and tried to get him to eat on my own but with no sucess, his condition just worsened and I knew he was suffering. I wasn't ready to loose him so I scheduled his surgery, more unsure and scared than ever! After surgery I was updated daily about his condition and I was able to visit him when he was up for it. When Trouble was ready to come home he was on medications and a strict feeding regiament through his stomach tube. I was taught in detail how to admininster his medications and food by the doctors and technicians that worked there. Trouble had a long road ahead but he improved each day. His tube was removed about a month later when he began eating well on his own. It wasnt easy but I wouldn't change my decision for the world! They gave me my Trouble back and now he is a happy, healthy, fat cat again that I love with all my heart. Thank you for saving Trouble's life!!!!!

Provided by YP.comDO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! After my dog got very ill, I was referred to take my dog here. While the Doctors are ok, the front desk women are absolutely rude, insensitive.
Furthermore, when I was holding my dog in my lap after she had to be euthanized no more than 1 minute passed and the front desk girl came into the room and said if I was ready to settle my bill. I told her that I needed a little more time with my dog.
You will get treated with little or no compassion as this place and if you do need to take you're pet here, be prepared to be treated like crap and make sure you have the money to pay then and there.

Provided by YP.comSTAY AWAY! Our cocker spaniel was biten by a coral snake. We took both our sick dog and the dead coral snake to Animal Emergency center. We left our beloved pet in their care, then drove to get the anti-venom, paid for it, and returned with the anti-venom to Animal Emergency center. They then made us leave, even though we thought we should definately stay. Unbelievably the vets choose not to give anti-venom to my pet. He died a very painful, death, from respiratory distress. These vets only recognized rattle snake bite symptoms and therefore, failed to attempt any reasonable actions to save my beloved pets life!!!! They never even appologized, only made excuses for his death. They weren't aware, but an employee of theirs gave us the full story, because she was upset with the unnecessary outcome. If you love your pet, DON"T TRUST Animal Emergy & Referral Center!!!
