I highly recommend using Christone Enterprises to find a home. We couldn't be happier with the listings that Christone Enterprises provided. The staff was incredibly detailed and considered all of requirements for an apartment. They were very responsive and extremely pleasant, quite the professional. We haven't personally discovered a more suitable property management company, since we've started working with Christone Enterprises. I advise looking into them if you're an investor. They do a wonderful Job. They won't disappoint you or lead you on.

After several experiences with real estate companies. I can confidently say that Christone Enterprises team have been far and away the best and easiest folks to deal with in a notoriously difficult industry. They were always available and flexible if needed, and helped me navigate a sublease when work took me out of the apartment I leased for 3 years from them. Definitely can feel confident working with Christone Enterprises.

Christone Enterprises is the best. They helped me find an apartment. I had to move out of my old rented apartment, So i started looking for an apartment. After a while, It became really hard for me so i hired Christone Enterprises. They Found me this beautiful apartment in less than a week time. They were really helpful . Highly recommended.

Terrible experience.
Found mold in the house we were renting and had it confirmed by the city inspector. Went and talked with the company manager and came to an agreement that we could move out, stop paying rent, and terminate the lease with our deposits intact. I have asthma, and my wife is pregnant, so we moved out at the urging of our doctors, because who knows where else there could be mold. Now a month after our final walk through I had to call them to ask when I could expect my deposits because after the walkthrough I was assured to have them in the mail within 30 days. After talking to the manager again it turns out he has decided to change his mind and now I am not even sure I will get anything back. Thats over $2000 that I will be lucky to see because he thinks we over exagerated the problem. I don't see how he could think this when I provided pictures and details of exactly where it was and how much. We were considering sticking with the company on our next home but after this there is no way I could do it again.

Very Lacksadaisical

Did not have a great experience with this company- when I went to meet with a representative to find a rental property, she just handed me a list of available properties instead of asking what I was looking for. I expected her to tailor the list or highlight a few properties that she thought suit my needs. Also, when I inquired about a few properties, she knew nothing about them. It would seem to me that you would try to become very familiar with the properties in order to recommend them.

As far as seeing the actual properties, good luck trying to get an appointment. The reps took a few days to get back to me and when they did get back to me, they acted kind of "put out" to have to show me multiple properties in one day. I was only able to see one property a day. They didn't seem to go the extra mile to secure my business. I felt like they were very lacksadaisical.

You would be much better off doing your own search or using one of the other property management companies in the area.

Where do I begin? The home was filthy when we moved in, even though they said that they had to allow 5 days for cleaning after the last tenants moved out. They also stated that they would replace all of the mini blinds prior to move-in and they didn't. There was black mold in the home we rented which VERY quickly (within a week) caused a severe reaction on my entire body of itchy red puss filled bumps. I had to immediately seek medical attention and had to go to 5 doctors before they pin-pointed what specifically was triggering this reaction after very thorough and agonizing testing. There was visible mold as well but Christone forced us to remain in the home for an additional 8 months, which was after speaking with all of the office ladies who are very kniving and unfriendly, and the owner Chris Mendola. Chris is a very friendly and seemingly honest guy but the management group does not follow through so he's as fake as the rest of them.

I had medical records as evidence of my condition which was a reaction to the home itself but they stated I had a legal obligation to live there for a year becuase I signed a legally binding document so I had to live there or at least pay all of the bills no matter what. They stated that my medical records indicating a reaction to black mold from my doctors (1 General Practitioner, 2 Dermatologists and 2 Allergists) was not enough evidence. I was in agony for the time I could not afford to leave, not to mention having to go to my job on Scott Air Force Base around professionals looking like a freak!

When we finally moved out, they forced us to pay all of these re-listing fees and early termination (even with medical evidence & records that this home caused my illness/reaction!) and cleaning fees and damage fees not listed in the lease even though we left the home in better condition than when we moved in! They wouldn't fix things so we had to do it ourselves and in the end we paid for them twice!? Upon move-out they also charged us for the blinds they replaced a few weeks after we moved in which took months to be reimbursed for their asanine mistake and poor record-keeping.

DON'T TRUST CHRISTONE ENTERPRISES!!! It's not worth the hassle, the poor customer service, the filthy mold-ridden properties, the fees, and they will steal all of your money even when you're in poor health because of mold in the home. No compassion whatsoever!

I have heard all over Scott Air Force Base from friends and other military members that they had similar experiences with this absolutely horrible management group and they 100% do NOT recommend them. Wish I had known. . . Now you know.

If you choose to rent through Christone Enterprises, here is my advice for how to protect yourself and your deposits:

Before you sign the lease, ask for a move-out cleaning packet. Compare the move-out packet to the lease. Their lease does not match the move-out packet in all areas (unless they have changed it) for example their policy on chimney cleaning is different in the lease and in the move-out packet. Get these things resolved in writing before you sign the lease and have it part of the lease. Then do a walk through with an agent before you sign. They expect the house to be spotless when you move out, so you should get the house spotless upon move in. Make sure they have everything cleaned that is on the checklist (including a new furnace filter).

If you go ahead with signing the lease and the house still is not spotless upon move in, document EVERYTHING in writing and as much as possible in pictures. Include things that are broken, dirty, scratched, torn…leave nothing out…including cracked electrical plug covers. Examine every wall, every nook and cranny including inside cupboards and closets. Inspect tubs and showers for mold inside of the calking. Meticulously document everything inside AND outside. Don’t assume Christone knows about the trash under the deck, the rotting door frames, torn screens, windows that won’t open or closed, etc. Mail the finished document to them registered mail so you have proof that they received the documents. Keep your copy in a safe place too and find out how to prove that the documents and pictures have not been tampered with.

Also, it may be a pain but go through Christone on all repairs, etc. instead of the owner. If you go through the owner, you have no way to prove you tried to take care of issues. When it was time for me to move out the owner of the house lied about an issue. A Christone employee yelled at me, called me a liar and I had to pay for cleaning something I never dirtied because I hadn’t put that it was dirty in my move-in report. Many months later I still feel upset when I think about Christone Enterprises. Their good employees (which there were some) did not outweigh the bad encounters and having my integrity attacked.

I rented a property with this agency for 2 years. Once I provided notice to vacate at the end of my lease is when my issues occurred.
Lease stated that 24 hour notice had to be given before people would enter property. This was not the case. Only reason I found out that someone was in my property was due to this being moved, doors opened and dishwasher running. This is a violation of the lease.
Also rent was overpaid for month. Agency is not refunding the overpayment and stated they will send it out once security deposit reconciliation is completed and could take 45 days.
Why would a refund take 45 days to issue?
Holding onto a refund once the company is notified seems unethical. I know in healthcare refunds have to be handled timely or the office of inspector general gets involved. If you rent from this company good luck in getting any money back from them.
I am waiting to see how much of my security deposit is returned if it is this difficult getting a refund that is owed.
