I was referred to Christone property management by a friend as things weren't working out with my current property management company. Quick & thorough answers, exactly what I was looking for. No complaints whatsoever they're doing a great job. Easy to work with & efficient, solve any issue quickly & proficiently. The whole place looks better & I can finally put my mind at ease, safe in the knowledge that they're doing a great job. Highly recommended from me, keep up the great work!

The Christone team has surpassed our expectations as a property management agency. I've tried to make a short review and a long review to help other owners see how our experience went.



Short review:

Long review:



My wife and I had to move out of state and decided to put our home up for rent. After interviewing three other agencies, we met the Christone team.



Chris met my wife and I at his office after business hours and we interviewed him for roughly two hours. He expertly answered our questions. He not only had the answers but was able to communicate them in different ways when we did not understand at first. His professionalism and vast knowledge of the market and property management in general set Christone apart from other agencies we interviewed.



We decided to work with Christone and the on boarding process was easy and systematic. Chris still made himself available when we had additional questions.



Christone did all of the marketing and showings for the property. Ashley advised and helped us get the home ready for viewings. She also was an invaluable aid in setting the right price for the property. Her knowledge of the market and the systems he used made it an easy and educating experience for us.



Showing the property seemed pretty easy. So, if you have the time and are good at that kind of thing, you may want to try it yourself and save a little money. For us, it was worth it to have Christone show the property. Also, if you are still living in your home and have the “for lease” sign in the yard, expect some folks to visit unannounced. Not a big deal, just a surprise when you're sleeping in on a Sunday morning or just about to go to bed.



We were a little nervous at first because no one was committing to our home while we were still there. However, about two weeks after we moved, Christone delivered the news that a tenant had been found. This being our first property we were stressed about filling the vacancy. Ashley explained that obviously the folks looking for a home normally want to move in relatively soon. So, it's sometimes hard to find a tenant signing weeks in advance. Either way, while two weeks seemed like forever to us, in hindsight it was a reasonable time. Again, this is our first property so we don't really have any previous experiences to compare it to.



Now, Christone sends us monthly statements and keeps us up to date with maintenance requests or suggestions for future maintenance through e-mail. The statements are easy to read and print off for your records. So far, they have been highly responsive to any inquiries we send, no matter how detailed or trivial.



Some other notes. Any time we visited the office, the staff was polite and helpful. Someone was also always ready to help us including their Airedale dog Sadie. I did not experience it but on one visit they said they were packed just the day prior with customers. So, experiences may be different depending on what's going on. They also take some days to conduct training, so just call ahead before going to the office. They are very well networked in the area. They have high ethical standards. Very helpful and informative if you are new to putting a home up for rent. They put in long work hours. Property management IS their business; they don't sell homes or manage home owner associations.



That was our experience. I hope it is helpful to any other owners looking for a management agency.

Christone Enterprises has been the answer to our sleepless nights and worried days trying to manage our home remotely. The services they provide are exactly what we needed and they are very flexible in the range of services provided. Nothing but good things to say....My main contact at Christone Mgmt., Ashley is amazing with service and friendly hospitality. I have dealt with several rental agencies and property management companies, I am a long time St. Clair county resident and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ashley and Christone Mgmt. to handle anyone’s rental service needs. They have never let me down since we started in 1994. In short, I've always had a great experience with Christone Mgmt.. You should give them a call, you'll be happy you did.

Several years ago we needed to rent our condo and our daughter and her husband recommended Christone Enterprises. They had very positive experiences with them. We have also been pleased with their services. Any maintenance problem that the tenant found was immediately addressed and we were immediately notified and consulted when needed. We found their charges to us to be more than reasonable. Their costs for services rendered are exceptional. We have dealt with other property managers where we live and there is no comparison. Christone is far and above the best. If you are a renter, hope that your landlord uses them. If you are a landlord in the O’Fallon area, there is no one else better.

I have to agree with other comments here. I used a different management company for the past few years and had terrible issues with responsiveness. I used google and located Christone based on other reviews on the web and I am as happy as the other clients. Christone is responsive and manages the property very well. I have no complaints and the tenants are pleased with Christone as well.

First and foremost, a good attitude from all those who helped me at Christone. .. easy to find management companies looking to make a quick dollar here in Ofallon but hard to find genuine help. Thanks guys! I predict I will continue to trust them with renting in the future. Shout out to the maintenance team great group of guys.

Great company, friendly staff. Heater went out on a Sunday and they brought over space heaters that afternoon. Furnace was replaced the next day on Monday. Katie is a great asset to the staff and they have an Airdale dog the kids just love to see when we come by to pay rent

This review is from a property owner's perspective. Stay away from this company, customer service doesn't exist and they the property owners and tenants as their personal ATM..(Only thing they are good are good at drawing money from property owner and tenant). My recent interaction was horrendous. They misrepresented my property in their advertising, argued with me regarding items in/on my property, blatantly lied about services performed by their cleaning crew and told me in writing the care of items in my property none of their business. A previous tenant informed me Christone representatives refused to do a move-out inspection while the tenant was present or provide a move-out package. This process alone should be transparent for all parties to prevent disagreements with deposit refund. Additionally, the tenant informed me the Christone charged me the property owner for services never performed during their initial move-in . I could go on about my experience but want to inform property owners and renters to STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY....

Best property management company in the entire metro east! I rented from Christone Enterprises for 2 years & couldn't have been any happier. I would highly recommend Christone Enterprises to anyone searching for property management. They have made the process easy for my family and I from finding a home, to applying and moving in! I was able to find a home, be approved and move in all within 3 days!

This review is being given from a homeowner/landlord perspective. We have worked with Christone for several years to find tenants for our rental properties (after doing that ourselves and regretting many of them – late payments, building negligence, etc). Christone has a great application process to find upstanding applicants with good work and payment history, and credit reports. We always have good luck with the tenants they approve and recommend. The other thing is their maintenance crew, they are just wonderful. If we need emergency repair or just some basic maintenance done, they are very responsive and prompt. The costs are so reasonable. Christone’s head man, Chris, is a very kind, professional, hands-on, and astute gentleman to work with, and his staff also reflects his business vision and ideals in being professional, responsive, and fair. We will continue to recommend Christone Enterprises to other rental property owners.

I have been using CE as my property manager for 5 years now, and I have seen them continually improve over the years. Their current team is terrific and I have especially enjoyed working with Susan. She is the best leasing agent that I have ever dealt with. Extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and treats me more like a friend rather than a client. She responded to an email that I sent at 5am her time, and she drove 30 mins to personally check on my property after the burglar alarm was tripped. Now that's service. Christone had sent out surveys where I was honest about where I thought they could improve, and I felt like they listened and refined their process. It's hard to find a good manager, but Christone Enterprises has been solid.

We enlisted Christone to manage a property of ours. We had a wide variety of problems with them: cancelling showings and not rebooking them to blaming the city for not sending the inspection report, when after speaking with the city learned that they were given a copy at the inspection, not receiving responses to numerous emails, rude employees and blatant lies from them. Their service was so bad that we cancelled our management contract with them after only 2 months.

Do NOT listen to any of the 'positive' reviews of this company. They are obviously planted reviews to bring up the rating. If i could give this company a negative star rating I would. This company is completely evil. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. Greedy b*stards every last one. I don't know how the office staff sleep at night with the lies they spew to their victims..er.. I mean 'customers'. The only winners with a contract with Christone is Christone. Neither the Tenant or Owner will gain from this company. We had no choice but to be renting from them since they walked into our lease with the owner in the middle of our lease. Took over the property and proceeded to bully us for a year to sign a new lease holding us accountable for things wrong with the property YEARS before we had even started living there. Even after we have moved out they are coming after us like rabid wolves for a feed. You have been warned.
